Hello everyone. This time we will be walking around Kyoto again. This time we will visit “Ima-Kumano Kannonji”. This is a temple in Higashiyama Ward. In terms of area, it is near Sennyu-ji Temple and Tofuku-ji Temple. Then, let’s enter the temple grounds. The nearest station is Tofukuji Station.

This temple is famous for its ability to prevent blurriness and headaches. It is worshiped as the “Kannon-sama”. There is also a statue of Shigo Daishi in the precincts, which is said to provide blessings for children’s mental and physical health and academic success. It’s a very beautiful scenery.

The atmosphere of the approach is also wonderful. There is a statue of Shigo Daishi here. This is the main hall. The red tower is a medical cathedral. This is the Daishi-do Hall, which is used to pray for blurring. You can climb up to the red tower that you saw earlier.
