Eating the Cheapest Kobe Beef Teppanyaki in Japan

Eating what could be the cheapest Kobe beef Teppanyaki in Japan!

Royal Mouriya
Japan, 〒650-0012 Hyogo, Kobe, Chuo Ward, Kitanagasadori, 1 Chome−9−9 第1岸ビル 2F

In this video we be eating at a Teppanyaki restaurant in Kobe Japan Being in Kobe we definitely want to try their highly prized beef Usually very expensive, you can get it much cheaper here The place is called Royal Mouriya Their Kobe Beef has certificate of authenticity And also won awards

Cold water is served once seated Chef Ina was our chef and he has 47 years of experience! He speaks amazing english and is very hospitable We ordered a glass of soda And a lobster to start

It was live so you can still see little movement of it even after it is chopped up The Kobe beef set we ordered comes with a onion soup Followed by a Salad Made up of lettuce, carrot, pear, baby corn, okra, cherry tomato, radish, pumpkin and yellow capsicum It was fresh and tangy

Our lobster is being prepared for the grilled A beautifully plated lobster! The meat is so fresh and bouncy! You can pair it off with the creamy Lobster butter sauce Or the salty sea salt I personally love the Lobster butter sauce cause is it so rich! You can also find meat in the head

Does requires more effort though since you have to dig for it This would be our Kobe Beef Set We ordered 2 of the cheapest cuts of Kobe beef to try The vegetables includes beansprouts, eggplant, mushrooms, green chilis and lotus roots We be sharing the 2 different cuts of Kobe

We are recommended to have the first piece with only salt Wow! It was so delicious just with salt! Our first serving We have egg plant, mushroom, lotus, Kobe round steak and Kobe rump steak The rump steak is a fattier cut of meat as compared to the round steak

Whereas the round steak was leaner and more beefy Can say we were very happy with the rump steak! It was bursting with delicious marbling flavor despite it being not very expensive! For sauces, we can pair them off alone with the miso Or combine garlic, wasabi with the ponzu!

The grilled vegetables at the side were simple and well cooked They added a little palate changer from the Kobe The grilled green chili was just a little spicy and actually kinda sweet! The rest of our portion of our Kobe rump steak is getting prepared And the rest of the Kobe round steak

Can say ordering the larger portion of 150g for them was worth it considering we got a good amount of meat! Looks like we also have bean sprouts for the set It was flavorful and delicious! We top-up a little for our set and changed our white rice to garlic fried rice

The fried rice was very rich of beef flavors! Having the Japanese pickles with it made it more tangy and refreshing It is indeed very delicious and we love it! Overall this restaurant is a fantastic place to visit for Kobe beef Teppanyaki! We got a good amount for a really good price! Delicious!

Our set meal ended with a option of coffee or tea

  1. I don’t want to be that type of person, but the fact the lobster haven’t been put down properly gave quite an unsettling mood. Literally half the lobster is still moving while it’s being cooked 2:45

  2. I love all your videos! I watch them to fall asleep, I finally ran out and then you posted this thank you🙏💕

  3. Kobe beef is one thing I wish I tried before my gut decided to reject meat. I'm sad, but watching you and your wife eat it is just as good~

  4. Damn I hate how they handle live animals in Asia!!! Although it is only a mollusk, it is a living thing. You don't cut open an animal before you kill it!
So it was a thumbs down for you paying for animal cruelty.

  5. Thanks for another awesome video, mate. Hope you're both doing well and living your absolute best lives. ❤

  6. now this is how it's supposed to be done!. Meanwhile salt bae just slaps meat on the table and drizzle som salt on and leaves… charging thousands

  7. The Chef is delightful. That salad looked amazing. I was also amazed at the portion of beef. It looked very generous. And it was a good idea to top up the rice.
Overall, I would say the meal was reasonable, except the lobster. It is nice to see the different Kobe cuts being served too.

  8. i love everything about the plateing but id have to request the wasabi taken out lol i cannot do the wasabi at all lol

  9. Dancing Bacons; lives in asia, enjoys asian food,
    people viewing; "eww, live food."

like, if you people can't handle that, maybe stop watching their videos?
it is perfectly normal for their culture to eat things like that,
at the very least it lets the customer know the food is fresh.

  10. I just love the art of teppanyaki. Its very pleasing to watch, especially if its done by someone who is clearly very skilled and experienced.
