I suppose this is a good time as any to remind everyone that Yoshitaka Fumoto, the person who is IN CHARGE of their Overseas Division (which at this point is just EN) only lists himself as having “Limited Working Proficiency” in English. And even less with Indonesian and Korean.

this does give some credence to that message screenshot about EN’s success helping him evade being fired seeing as how badly ID and KR folded under his watch (not sure if he was part of the team during EN 1.0/IN)
He’s not currently directly in charge of the Overseas Division, he fell upwards.

I don’t have a problem with that in itself. If he was surrounded by people knowing well the western cultures and the anglophone market. But obviously, he’s not.
So is this man going to be the next scapegoat?
