Being real, I don’t see anything bad with holding up the 3D models to ensure they’re of good quality and that everyone liked the outfits.
3D debuts are huge events in the Vtuber sphere, at least for corpos, and have a lot of budget and spectacle put into them. You also can’t simply swap back to an older model, unlike a L2D model outfit reveal. I’d want my 3D model to be as close to perfect as possible, and wouldn’t mind the wait, tbh. Then again, that’s just me.
Similarly, if Selen actually managed to convince HoloPro talents to be in their 3D streams, at the exchange of there being a hold-up, it’s honestly worth the wait. HoloLive is pretty much THE Vtuber company with the biggest and most dedicated fanbase, and having them on stream would’ve brought in a ton of views and been amazing promotion. Even HoloStar talents would’ve been great for establishing cross-company solidarity and opening the door for more cross-company collabs and events, because Yagoo absolutely loves those boys like they’re his own sons.
Too bad AnyColor was beyond stupid and treated Selen the way they did when she had multiple friends in HoloPro who she was quite close with. So, pretty much all future bridges for cross company solidarity were burnt to cinders with the reveal that Nijisanji drove Selen to attempt suicide twice, then tried to slander her. HoloPro is an extremely tight-knit company, and messing with one talent is equivalent to messing with the entire company, even the foreign branches.

Selen literally did mini 3D models for her Gen mates, and the only reason they are finally getting them is that she burned the yacht so much she gave them 3D again. Hell all Petra and Rosemi were able to finally get down Riku’s shelf is because the yacht was so in flames, and Vox and Elira done too, he decided to make Obsydia the new center of Nijisanji. Personally he shot himself in the foot, I’m glad for them but without Selen and the fact they will not be able to even adress her absence it doesn’t feel complete. I guess it will make the shareholders happy.
