I’m surprised that even the Japanese are making a prostitution comparison. I didn’t want to come out and say it, but I saw it like a mix of trafficking and cultish behavior.
* Niji holding your money, and deciding when you get it (common in trafficking)
* There being a bottom bitch whose job it is to control the other bitches (common in trafficking and cults)
* Being encouraged to cut off any supports or opportunities outside of your “job” such as not being allowed to do PL stuff, or handing over anything related to your PL if you profit from it (common in trafficking and especially cults)
* Having to pay a fee to leave (which is common in scams and cults)
* Not being allowed to leave when you want to (common in abusive situations in general, but especially in cults and trafficking)
* None of your property or earnings really belonging to you like play buttons, money or resources gained through your work ect (extremely common in cults)
* Being convinced you aren’t worth anything, or your worth is directly tied to the entity you are under (almost universal in cults, and not uncommon in trafficking or abuse in general.)
* Having your reputation ruined if you leave (common in cults)
* Being encouraged to do things that are unsightly, negative, or anything that would make people less likely to accept you if you tried to leave (common in cults and trafficking)
Didn’t want to be the one that went there. But if even someone from Japan is saying it. I think it’s fair game to discuss here.

honestly facts about their managers. they have helped the talents with booking hotels etc. even if they aren’t going to japan for work. kiara and her manager will go on cafe outings and anime pop-ups together. they actually care and are there to help each member be as successful as they possibly can. i feel really bad that things weren’t as established for aloe and sana that had to deal with so much harassment that lead to or instigated their graduations
