If this ever gets traction and makes Niji respond to said contract, i bet it will just pour more gasoline in the fire depending on their response.

This video spreads misinformation that zaion was the leaker of the template contract (not the NDA one). Great job twitter user [https://twitter.com/Grxit/status/1765438050035810655](https://twitter.com/Grxit/status/1765438050035810655)
JP fans are still hating her despite everything that surfaced recently. Now it’s going to get worse thanks to that.

im glad most of the jp commenters believed it and are worried that this might be the same contract that nijisanji jp use too, hopefully this could lead to an impact on the jp side

From the understanding “If true then there’s no merit in joining Nijisanji beyond brand recognition and collabing with senpais”
“If this contract is true then I see why big projects previously by livers(Koshien, NJU) ended up getting taken over by management”
“Even if the contract isn’t true, the fact people think Niji might actually do this means it’s already over for them”
“I’m having a newfound respect for the Livers who could work under this contracts for years”
“I don’t really care about the superchat cuts or having them buy things, but the penalty fees or them saying they won’t help the Livers in trouble just made me went “Oi!”. The hell you mean you’re sucking them dry but won’t protect them?”
“Now I see why the Livers who quitted called it a prison”
To the comparison “So this is the quality gap compared to the other company. I guess this is what you get banking on quantity over quality.”
“Now I see why the male talents from the other side(Holostars) aren’t quitting even though they’re pulling much less numbers.”
To the meme “I don’t know if this is true, but I guess this is the phase where Niji gets to become the chew toy”
“Virtual Big Motor” (Big Motor is a used car company in Japan also known for being a massive brand name yet with cartoonishly evil managements.)
To the usual corpo complacency “50% is still on the better end compared to other agencies.”
“You’re using Niji’s brand to make a song, so even if you paid out of pocket it’s fair they take the rights to it.”
To full on sink the yacht mode “This is IRL Palworld. The Livers are management’s Pals.”
Though I’ve also noticed this channel also tend to attract people who didn’t like Niji all that much to begin with, so don’t take these comments as represetative of the entire JP fandom.

Comments seem good so far. Translations by DeepL:
>Maybe it wasn’t an exaggeration to call it a prison for the out-of-towners?
>No, no, no, no, the management won’t protect you, or you have to negotiate on your own. There’s no point in belonging to a corporation, is there?
>It’s especially bad that you don’t seem willing to protect the talent from trouble, regardless of the content. It would be better for them to build a foundation and become independent as soon as possible. Companies that only use you can’t complain about being used and discarded.
>I always enjoy watching NijiSanji LIVER’s performances, but when I think that such a terrible contract is signed behind the scenes, I can no longer genuinely enjoy the performances. If this contract is real, I hope that the management will protect the Nijisanjis live performers, and even if it is a lie, I hope that the management of the entire company will change so that such a lie will never happen again.
(Obviously these are, to some extent, cherrypicked, because I can’t reproduce all the comments, but every single one I’ve had translated so far echoed the same ideas.)
Edit: Well, I had to share this one after all:
>It’s more cost-effective to take money from the lifers instead of taking money from the viewers. It’s like a certain franchise convenience store.
End of Edit
Not to mention this one, which goes kinda hard:
>The country started with unequal treaties, but the Japanese should also get into the habit of going to the courts and think about establishing laws related to contracts on an individual basis. We should at least pretend to be a nation governed by the rule of law, not by the law of the jungle.

The comment section is wild. Japanese bros are actually shitting on NIJISANJI lmao

Nice! It seems clear they understood the implications of the contract & provided a very concise summary. I hope future applicants will properly check the contract before signing it, ideally with a lawyer.
This contract is heavily skewed to benefit only one side, put as much of the liabilities on the other side. It is just an oppressive contract.

Well it looks like the comment section agree that this is indeed shady business and doesn’t just handwave it as: This is the standard for Japanse entertainment companies so deal with it lol.
That being said I wonder what the demographic aka the usual audience of this channel is. If they are already anti-Niji to begin with, then the reaction is hardly surprising.
