I took out my Ricoh HR IIIx Urban Edition for its 2nd outing of Street Photography. I tried shooting in snap priority and aperture priority but was not always getting the timing and settings right.
I started off at JR Rokkomichi Station and made my way up through a short shopping street and temple up to a little north of Hankyu Rokko Station.
It was a cold, grey day so the lighting was not the best. There were also not so many people on the streets, along with a lack of interesting sights, making it a rather dull event.
That said, I was still very impressed with the GR IIIx’s image quality and handling. I’m hoping that with further shooting sessions and a better understanding of the camera I can start to realize its full potential. Like they say, practice makes perfect.
