Tokyo’s BEST Discount Store DAISO

DAISO is Japan’s answer to the dollar shop. The shop located in Hikarigaoka is HUGE with 2 floors of shopping. It’s also never crowded so shopping is pure pleasure. To get here, simply take the Seibu Ikebukuro Line to Hikarigaoka. The station is literally connected to a mall. The DAISO is right across from the mall.

  1. Not being funny or disrespectful, but this is why I wipe down everything that I buy with Clorox wipes! I’m not saying anything negative, but COVID is still here! And something as simple as this… with one cough👀🏥 Never had it, and don’t want it! Be safe…🙏🏽 But your content was excellent!♥️

  2. Those drinking glasses wit the blue streak…….I'd but them immediately. So simple, yet so beautiful.
And they would have to kick me out of the snack and noodle section or I'd be setting up camp there😂😂
Thank for yet another great video!!

  3. Hooray!! A Daiso shopping trip! 🎉 What a fabulous resource for disposable items and also for some more permanent ones. You'd have to put me on a leash to keep me away from the pottery/glassware/kitchen gadget and stationary sections.😆 And what a great place for a respite from the Summer heat! We need more Daiso stores in the U.S.! Love you guys.💜💜

  4. Trash bin to hang over kitchen sink looks useful. The glass tiles are beautiful too. I’d buy those glasssss with the blue swirls on theme. Those cups for, I am guessing tea, look nice.

  5. I would empty my bank account if I was let loose in a Daiso. The "dollar" stores here in comparison are absolute trash with maybe 5% useful items/nice food.

  6. Me, before bed last night: "Ugh, it's been a long day, I need something to unwind". Also me: "DAISO!" Loved it! I would go nuts in there. Hello Kitty basket? Check! Adorable miso soup bowls? Check! Nice chopsticks? SNACKS?! I feel like I'd need another luggage just to bring home the haul. What a treat!

  7. We have a Daiso near us and I cannot be TRUSTED in there. I usually buy cute little kitchen items (cups, saucers, chopsticks, etc.) and stationary supplies. Washi tape??? Stickers???? Japanese snacks are also a must. I always want to get ambitious and buy some of the home decor items, but realistically we don't have the space to store all of that stuff. I love to browse!

  8. I lived in Japan for 7 years. I went to these stores at least once a week. I loved the hundred Yen stores!!!!!!! Most of my kitchen has these items …I miss Japan!!!

  9. wish america had a Diaso near me i would be getting the Japanese style bowls and see if they have a beauty section

  10. This seems like a great place to buy inexpensive souvenirs – especially chopsticks, ceramics, tea, and snacks!

  11. I love Daiso! I remember one of your videos from the past, and Satoshi said "Daiso is the Wonderland." I agree with him completely! It is the best. Sending good wishes to both of you.

  12. Here in my place it cost like 241 yen instead of 100. And it not have variety like this so i only bought things like gummy or a 500ml bottle of Ramune

  13. Whenever I watch any one of your videos I want to visit Japan. My husband and I wanted to travel to Japan in 2020 but couldn't due to the pandemic. 😢 2021 we got son and now I'm not sure when will be a good time to plan a trip. Probably when the little one is around 5 or 6. Right now he won't manage the flight. But maybe in 3 years. ❤
