Hello everyone. This time we will be walking around Kyoto again. This time we will visit Sennyu-ji Temple. This is the “Daimon” entrance. Sennyuji Temple is a temple located in Higashiyama Ward, near Tofukuji Temple. Now let’s walk around the temple grounds. The nearest station is Tofukuji Station. Go down the slope from the entrance.

The building in front is the “Buddha Hall”. It’s a great atmosphere. When you visit a temple, you can also tour the inside of the Buddha hall. I would like to go see the garden at the back of the shrine grounds. This building is the “Sariden”.

This year is the Year of the Dragon, and “Nakiryu” is shown once every 12 years. This will be “Honbo”. Let’s go inside from here. You can also get a goshuin stamp here. This will be the garden. It’s very atmospheric and beautiful. Now let’s walk around the grounds. You can see Reimeiden from here.

It’s very beautiful. Here you can find the Tsukinowa Mausoleum. This is an imperial mausoleum managed by the Imperial Household Agency. It has a very sacred atmosphere. Near the entrance are the “Kyozo” and “Yang Guifei Kannon Hall.” There is a “Kyozo” here. This is the “Gekkyo Kongo Treasure Pagoda”.
