What to do in Hiroshima In A Day: Japan Travel Itinerary | Osaka to Hiroshima | Miyajima Island Tour

#hiroshima #japan #japantravel

We were sad when we saw the Atomic Bomb Dome, our hearts pounded when we saw the nuclear attack survivors and heard their stories, but we smiled when we saw how Hiroshima and the people have bounced back and leading peaceful lives.

In this Japan travel guide, we will show you what to do in Miyajima, Hiroshima in a day!
Hiroshima is a city on a big island called Honshu in Japan. A really cool place to see near Hiroshima is an island called Itsukushima, also known as Miyajima. It’s one of the best places to visit in Japan. The biggest attraction there is a huge gate called O-Torii gate. When the tide is high, it looks like it’s floating on the water.

Miyajima island is also a great place for a day trip from the Kansai region like Kyoto and Osaka, and we planned our day trip to Hiroshima from Osaka.

We started our day trip from Osaka on a bullet train ride to Hiroshima and then took another 25-minute train ride to JR Miyajima-guchi station. From there it’s less than a 5-minute walk to the ferry terminal where you will take a 10-minute JR ferry ride to Miyajima Island.

On this day trip to Hiroshima and Miyajima the Places we visited:
Itsukushima Shrine (Itsukushima Jinja) and the “floating Torii gate”
Omotesando Shopping Street
Senjokaku and the 5 story Pagoda
Shukkeien Garden
Atomic Bomb Dome
Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum
Peace Memorial Park – Hiroshima

Hello mom, I am going to Hiroshima. Okay bye, here comes our Bullet Train Hiroshima Now we are standing in a city of the world which faced nuclear attack in the World War. Why did America attack Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Why didn’t they attack Tokyo? Brother, what a scene it must have been.

Even after hearing 4000 degrees Celsius, the soul shuddered. This is the only building that survived that massive attack. It was one of the most deadliest attacks in the history of mankind. This card gives you It is going to help a lot

And if we had learned this earlier then we would have made a five day pass , made a base in Uka and traveled all over the city by Saka, we would have saved a lot of money. It is a very

Beautiful island. If you are planning Hiroshima then you can visit Miyaji Ma and If both of them could cover Hiroshima in one day then look at this brother [ __ ] Deer here brother this is no less than a painting

This is such a beautiful place [Music] Hello guy Welcome back to our Shima How much will you have to pay for it? Where will that money of yours go? The best, best, best possible. How can your money be saved?

We had made a very detailed video to go to Hiroshima or Nara or Kyoto. The link will be coming here, please go and watch it. Okay, today is a new day for us and we are going to Hiroshima, so now I have come to Shin Uka station,

From here only your run, which is Nozomi, will go to Hiroshima, okay, if you have JR. If you have a pass then your JR pass will do, for that you will have to get a ticket issued. If you do not have a JR pass, like we did not have it, then our money

Is saved. We have a hefty 6 rupees of Hajj left for both our friends, so what did we do? Yes, we had taken GR West Rail Pass, this is our generic ticket and this is our

Ticket from Shri Shaka to Hiroshima of 7:1 which is the name of the train Naz 271 which is coming platform number 22 ok yes so now Let’s take you to platform number 22 and show you No Jomi 271. Come, this is another observation of ours in Japan that here in

Their railway station, it seems as if they have come to the airport, there are so many big mega stores inside the station. There is availability of everything, there are public washrooms at various places and everything is free of use, you can use it comfortably, so

A lot of care has been taken of public convenience and accessibility, perhaps it is from these regions that the country develops its infrastructure. We look so solid, so here comes our bullet train of Hiroshima, by the way, we

Have already traveled in the bullet train when we were going by tow, why tow, its link will be coming here, we have made a video in detail if If you haven’t seen it, please check it out, otherwise we will now make a video of this too and make you explore Hiroshima Yes, as soon as we got down at Hiroshima train station, I saw the tourist information counter because this is the specialty of Japan. Generally at every station you will find a tourist information counter and that sister explains so well that what more can I say, she

Explains to you even better than me, so there I understood from the sister that today there are two things in my itinerary, one is Hiroshima is the second island and Miya Jima Island, so according to my research, we

Should go to Miya Island first otherwise because after that there is a lot of rush in the second half, there I wanted to confirm this with Didi, so Didi said that you should go to Miya Island first. Go to Jima

Island only, after that you go to Hiroshima, then Amiya, how to go to Jima, Didi said that from here, as soon as you reach the Central Gate, take the GR line, it will be included in your GR pass, so if you have JR pass, it will not be included. So

You can buy tickets from here. Ticket counters are also available. We did not have the generic JR pass, but we have the JR West Line pass, which we took yesterday from Osaka station. So, we have the JR pass and we will go. JR Sanya Line goes

Which will directly drop you at Miya Ji Ma Guchi station. As soon as we get down at Miya Ji Ma Guchi station, from there we have to take the ferry to Miya Ji Ma and that too JR ferry.

Didi said that there are two types of ferries. There are two companies, one JR and one normal, if you have JR pass then you can take the JR ferry, it will be covered in your pass, this

Is right now, first we will go from here by metro which was told to you from Miya Jima Guchi station, then after that we will go by ferry. And for all this, my 100 yen per person will be charged more, which is our travel tax. I thought that sitting in the ferry

Is ok, meaning 100 yen is nothing, so this is our today’s journey. After this, Mia. Didi had told me a couple of things in Jimma that there was a tori gate which remains in the water. If you have seen

Instagram 2 emerges in the water, you must have checked that and apart from that, there is a shopping area around it, some temples, a shrine, five floors. There are Peace Pagoda types, we will explore there for two-three hours, after that we will come back to

Hiroshima and explore. A red colored bus runs from this station itself which is included in the GR pass, so first Miya Ji Ma and then Hiroshima. Now I am going to go inside and show you how the JR Sanya Line looks

From the inside JR Sanya San La Lal Wali Lal Wali Lal Wali Lele Lal Wali So Mia Ji Ma got down at the Guchi station, they said you have to take the underpass. And go to the front ferry station Going Tow Ferry Erie Ticket So you will get down

At JR station there are many sign boards to tell you where to go, you have to go just opposite to JR ferry terminal no need to ask anyone sign board Check it out and as soon as you reach the ferry terminal here, your ticket

Will be deducted at 100 yen of 00 which people call tax ticket and they will ask you whether you have JR pass, if you have then you do not need to buy ferry ticket. If you don’t have a passer pass then

You will have to buy a ferry ticket from below. As soon as we boarded the ship, I thought it would take us only 15 minutes and I can see the island in front of me, it is such a beautiful island, wow man, it was fun. And right now the temperature according to me

Would be -1 or might be amazing brother here [music] But yes, we have reached Maya Jima Island and look at this brother, such views of the island are fun, luxurious and respectable. And as we were coming from the front, Tori gate

Was visible. The deer had snatched Didi’s foil, just like a monkey snatches it, there are many deer here too, he is not leaving it, he has snatched the bag itself, look brother! [ __ ] Deer is here, so if you have

Not seen deer by going to Nara Park, then you will get to see deer here, here you can see bats roaming around, dogs are roaming like cats, so let us show you the island, very interesting and nice. It looks calm and beautiful and we were talking about the Tori Gate which we

Could see. Didi was also telling us by announcing from behind that when there is high tide, it seems as if the Tori Gate is floating but today. There is no high tide today, it

Is quite low and the water is also low, so let us show you how it looks today. Hamar Tori Gate, due to which the island is very famous, so yes, this is the famous Tori Gate here, due to which this island is very famous. More

Tourists come, look at this, this is the door of heaven, go through this door, you will reach heaven, you have to go to heaven, you will not go today, no water will not go today, so if you have ever searched the images of Japan, then this The one which

Is Torii Gate, it will definitely come because this is one of the iconic Torii Gate of the whole of Japan where we are standing now, it is looking very beautiful, it is looking absolutely rustic and just

In front of it there is a temple also, there is also a shrine and Now we will go there and see if it is paid or free, we will enter accordingly or after just visiting the market, we will go back to Hiroshima but seriously guys, this

Place is Miyaji Miyaji Ma, a very beautiful island if you If you are planning Hiroshima then you can cover both Miyaji Ma and Hiroshima in one day very comfortably, so what you are seeing behind me is the Kushma Shrine, the entry fee here is Rs 300 but

The person told you this in Japanese. Shinto is a religion which is considered very significant for 3 per cent of the Japanese population. It is said that this temple was built in 593, so it

Is very old in the year 593 but due to natural disaster, it is on the very edge of the sea. It has been broken many times and then it is renovated again and due to natural changes calamities occur here with very high frequency and the entire

Temple gets submerged but still having said it is a very important shrine here Joy Great Tori Whatever gate we showed you, O Teri Gate, O Tori Gate, O Not Yours, Sorry O Tori Gate, it is very important and very

Magnetic people are coming, so you must come to this island, you must come to Memmi Island, the names here are big. If it is confusing then maybe you can say the name directly

But it will be visible correctly on the screen. It is okay for you to give more preference to the return ones. And just like here Nandi ji was made in front of the temple and here behind the temple of Lord Shankar. They made a white horse which is facing towards the shine

I don’t know what is the significance of this white horse, but it looks very nice, so we will sit here for a while and then go back towards Hiroshima and show you the Russia of Hiroshima which is still alive after

The nuclear attack. After that deadliest nuclear attack, yes, yes, I just read it and I came to know that Joy is White Hordes, it is considered very sacred, that is why it is planted outside the shrine and it is considered a symbol of peace and being energetic, so this is its importance.

Yes, yes Mia, one thing is very famous in Jima Island and I am saying this especially for the vegetarians, which is called Magi, it is small like this, it is something like this, I will show you right now from the back camera, it

Is like this flower. Put a small one in the shape of a donut which is like a donut which has flavors like matcha flavor, bean flavor, cream flavor, it is worth 200 yen, if you

Have come here, then you must try this, it is generally an authentic dish from here. If it is here then you will definitely get it and you will get it authentic, this is what I am saying, I am Fried Momiji

Manju, here it is, brother, there is such a vending machine installed here, you have to press it, what are you doing, put money, put coins on top, yes, put some aunty. Didi is saying, first put the coins in the machine, 100, 150, 200, now press this, that slip

Has come, now this slip has to be given which number, ok ok, she said, make me taste the cake as well, she will make you taste me too, yes, she will make me taste too. Come on, eat, eat [Music] Sorry, the matcha one was better, our

Madam Manju has come, the one with red paste [laughter] This is such a thing that Japan has found really tasty, very good, you see below, all the sweets are sweet and so sweet. I have come here, have you put jagri either they did that or what do we eat

Here? Sugar is smelly here, then this sugar is dirty sweet, this is not sugar sweet, it is amazing friend, after visiting the island, now it is time to go back, we have come again. In the ferry, you can also stand here, there is space above also, you can go there and they

Have also made a closed cabin, so let me show you the closed cabin, how is it, you can open the gate comfortably and see the complete heating system inside. Wonder where did she go while sitting? First the girl took the seat

And there are such cool sofa style seats, you sit on them, have fun, dance and roam around Japan, Hiroshima and what was the name of this island, Miyama Miyama Jima, fast and fast ferry, absolutely on time . But here we are [music] After a comfortable ferry ride, we

Have caught the train and we are going to Hiroshima and will show you some buildings of Hiroshima Meaning, good words, bad words, I don’t know but the memories are bad, the place is important but let’s go Let’s explore, it’s going to be fun. After

Reaching Hiroshima, you have to take the central exit. As soon as you exit the central, you will get buses from platform number two, green bus, lemon bus and red bus. You will get the

Routes for all three, this is all there only. If you want to take a pallet from the route tourist attraction, then now we have boarded the red bus and which

Will take you to basically the entire site of Hiroshima. Wherever you want to get down, you can get down. There are two main stations, one is Sh Garden and the other is Atomic. The space where the bomb had fallen is complete, now when we are

Going to the station on the way, the first stop coming is Shuke’s Garden, so we are thinking that we should get down there first, after that we will go ahead to the garden, yes whose stop is this. Its name is Hiroshima Prefectural Art Museum, so it looks like this,

It looks like Shuk Kine Garden, so we are thinking that we will get down here and after that we will take the further ride. One more thing, if you have a passenger pass or

Near the West Line, then it is free. If there is no travel then you will have to pay 220 yen per person. Right ji, this is Shaka Garden which is very beautiful, very ultra clean, beautiful, beautiful and fun. Everything is maintained very well. There is

A very cute panda made here. There are fishes in it here and there , they have made small bridges which are beautiful picture- esque bridges, if you see them in any painting, then brother, this is no less than any painting, it is such a beautiful place, you

Look behind it, it is very nice. There is a lake, a pond has been built, there is a bridge, it is a very beautiful place, friend, if you come here, if you are on a tour of Hiroshima, then definitely come to this garden, see how many beautiful fishes there are, big fishes, a

Wonderful sight. It is coming down below, you are looking great, it is amazing, first class, so the entry fee here is 300 rupees, but for adult, you are 300 rupees. You can come here by spending money. If you want to take photos, videos and create memories,

Then this is a very good place for that. There are very lovely spots, there are hot spots, there are points where you will have fun. Let me show you a slightly higher view for a minute. So you will understand what I am talking about, so I am talking about this

View, it looks cool, yes, look brother, look with fun Look at this brother, the shape of every tree is perfectly shaped and This uncle is engaged in cutting in an invasive manner, so complete attention is not given to every small detail. It is a very beautiful place, friend, very beautifully constructed, beautifully

Managed, everything is there, look inside this garden, friend, just give 300 rupees. If it is successful, you will not feel that money has been taken from you but you are not getting the facilities or you are not getting to see that scenery. You will not feel like that at all.

It is a very nice maintenance, man, look at this, you go to the world. Bamboo Garden: Here they have built their own bamboo garden. Roam around, dance, sing, enjoy and have fun among these bamboos. They have

Placed a memorial stone inside this park just to remember the disaster that happened to this city. There was a war in the Two Dark Days , so there is always a loss in the war, but till now the Hiroshima has bounced back and it looks absolutely stunning, so this

Is our second spot of Hiroshima and what you are seeing behind me is this. This is the Atom Bomb Dome, this is the only building which survived the massive attack which is called atom bomb attack and the nuclear attack which happened for the first time in the whole world on a city

Was Hiroshima. It is said that when that atom bomb exploded. Which was named Little Boy by the US. It exploded at a height of about 500 meters from here. It did not explode on the ground, so there was no crater. It exploded at a height of 400-500 meters. When it exploded there,

It The temperature in this 15 km radius had reached 4000 degrees Celsius, that is, everything was reduced to ashes and the pilot who dropped it, a US pilot, said that when I dropped it, it took about 50 seconds. That bomb was about to explode

But I had never imagined. He was telling that I was listening to one of the interviewers. He was telling that a mushroom of smoke was formed which went up into the sky up to a height of 3000 meters. What he had seen with his own eyes when he was sitting in the plane

And photos of which were also clicked at that time by the people who were company with him because they wanted to get proof of how big an attack we had carried out. One of the most deadliest attack in the history of mankind. 800 Hajj people were reduced to ashes

And lakhs of people were burnt to ashes. When the temperature rose so much during the attack, the glass from the building burst and when people went inside, it was a very bad situation. And for many years, its effects can be seen in the people of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

It is said that even today there are some generations which have defects because of the two nuclear particles which have become a part of this atmosphere. The special thing about this dome is that it was the only structure which

Remained standing in one position after that atom bomb attack, that is why people ask about it a lot and even now if you see its condition, then the umbrella above it. The shape structure was made, it was completely covered with glass, everything has been destroyed, you see this wall is completely burnt,

Such a strong structure was made that it survived that attack and this shows that this is a small piece. Understand, there is not even a piece of paper that can tell how deadliest attack happened at that time during the Second World War, which probably

Should never happen anywhere else, but we had a strong desire to come to Hiroshima because we wanted to see that when a The country on which such a huge attack was made in 1945, how did it survive so quickly and completely gathered itself, so this

Is our experience, now we will see it more closely, we will roam around it, take big shots and show you the rest. Hiroshima gives a little more knowledge as to why America attacked Hiroshima and Nagasaki and why they did not attack Tokyo, just

As the World War had started in 1939 when the Nazis, Hitler’s army, attacked different countries of Poland. Had attacked and captured Poland. Similarly, Italy, Germany and Japan were on one side. Japan

Was trying to capture the whole of South East Asia, Asia, China, on the other side it had captured many countries. Gradually, it was in all expansion mode . America was afraid that Japan might become a super power. When America went to stop it, it also imposed sanctions.

To take revenge of those sanctions, Japan attacked Pearl Harbor in 1941. When they attacked, America again got into the war seriously. Then America took some time, set up bombs and In 1945, the first bomb was dropped on Hiroshima on August 6 and the second bomb was dropped

On Nagasaki three days later. These two places were chosen because Tokyo had already been destroyed by small attacks and an active war was going on since 1941. All the people had come here and there was Japan’s ammunition center and army center

In Hiroshima and Nagasaki, so they dropped bombs strategically on both these places and not even a month had passed. I think on 8th September, Japan canceled and Then the war between Japan and America ended and you see this and now we

Show you the glimpses of this bomb dome, what a scene of devastation it must have been, even after listening to 4000 degree Celsius, Rooh [Music] Kaap, till date only read in history. I was talking about it and today I saw it for the first time

And after watching it I got a very different feeling, which means I probably won’t be able to express that much. Whatever we had come after watching Bam Dom, I will show you the second frame of Palat. He

Might be coming too, if you look here, this Peace Memorial Park is very close to this, it was built so that we do not fight and riot, do not fight among ourselves because whenever there is a war, it is the one who loses the most. It is meant

For innocent people, so it has been made in the memory of those people who directly and indirectly became the victims of this nuclear attack of this war. Now when we were standing near the Bomb Dome, a guide brother was also standing there. The actual survivor

Of this nuclear attack was in his mother’s womb at the time when this nuclear attack took place and his mother is still alive, she is 105 years old and then he showed his photos to see what

Was the condition of his grandfather. Due to the nuclear fusion that took place a few days after the attack, reactions started taking place in people’s bodies. People did not understand what was happening. Hospitals did not understand what was happening . It has become a very bad condition and its effects

Have been seen in people for many years, it is possible that it still has some effect on people’s body because the whole of it has become a part of this atmosphere and This is the Peace Memorial Park, so you must come here too. If you come to Hiroshima to see the Bomb Dome,

Then let us go ahead and see what else is there to explore in Hiroshima. Peace is just next to the Peace Memorial Park. Memorial Museum whose ticket is ₹ 200 yen per person, you can go there, there

Are clothes of all the survivors, there are autographs, there are photographs, there are photographs of how Hiroshima used to look before, how it looks later, pre and post, so a good one. You will get a feeling , there are many letters who had written letters to their family and friends,

We have seen them but obviously they did not blog that much, so this visitor launch is just next to them, here we ordered veg only. There was an option of Spaghetti , so we ordered Spaghetti and this hot chocolate, so now we

Will eat it and after that we will go back to Osaka [music] and then visit Hiroshima, we have come back to Hiroshima station and We are going to catch the bullet train one more time and

Go back in the bullet train to Oka. Do you know the interesting thing about the bullet train? What is our distance between Osaka and here, it is 270-280 km , if you reach in one and a half and a half hour

Then how much is it? If you have to travel far away in Japan, then this card is going to help you a lot and if we had learned this earlier, we would have made a five day pass, made a base in Japan and traveled to all the cities from Japan

, we would have saved a lot of money. If you can save, please save and what has our girl taken? This is winter lemon tea, hot. Yes, she is saying that today is our last day in Japan. Tomorrow we will

Leave Japan and go towards Taiwan. She is saying that today is the whole of Japan. I will try things, first try the Spaghetti or try the lemon and maybe this alarm is being saved because our session is about to come, that is to say, the Bullet Train is not going to come brother,

Look here, our Bullet Train has come, sit in it. We are going to Osaka, look how fast we are moving now 270 269 It is slowing down now because the station is coming, maybe a good one 271 Wow brother wow, if you want to say something, there is pressure

Very nice Japan Very nice, I did not see the selling card earlier today. Selling card is also there, so if you want to buy something, you can buy it. Yesterday also we were in Osaka and our first spot was Jo and Kai Market, so today also we have

Come to Shin Sakai Market because this is our hotel. It is very close to and we wanted to see some vibrancy, so we have come here. If you want some food options or want sonus options, then you

Can also come to Shins Kai Market. This is a local market. And you see how beautiful it is and looking back, this is Osaka tower and this is Hitachi tower. Basically, how beautiful they have made it, that is, they have made even the smallest basic thing so vibrant by applying light and brightness.

Come on. Let’s explore the market a little bit and then we will end our log because tomorrow we are going to a very new country which is Taiwan and we have to pack for it, so this was our day trip to Hiroshima and you can

Watch our video. How did you like it? Do tell me in the comments. Thank you so much for watching this is veggie wonder. Signing [Music] Off .
