    “Nijisanji dictated offkai” to “offkai ditched Nijisanji.”

    Real quick…

    It looks like, at first, they thought it would be fine to invite Niji, but after the falseeyed debacle and saw the community run wild, they decided there was no hope for Niji, at least for now.

    Edit:

    Offkai said the decision was made two weeks prior… but didn’t say anything because, in my opinion, they wanted to see how the market would react. The very moment the market found out about it and falseeyed made that tweet, there was no reason to cling to any hope that Nijisanji could appear as a guest.

    People who said Offkai made the decision solely because of falseeyed’s tweet and market reaction didn’t take into account that after this debacle and Offkai abandoned Nijisanji, Nijisanji would more than likely cut ties with Offkai entirely, aka blacklist Offkai. In a business sense, it is unwise to make such a big decision solely based on such a debacle.

    I’m confused. If this decision was made 2 weeks ago as they are claiming, why did they wait until now to announce it?
    Like, I’m not even getting into conspiracy rrat or whatever the kids call it. Just feels like a weird business decision to announce talents won’t be there two weeks after it has already been decided.
