Hi I’m M from Tokyo in this video I’d like to show you the 10 things to know before visiting the new team love in aab Tokyo finally the new team La is open please watch the video to the end for tips and deals that you should know about in advance okay then let’s

Go number one what is Team lab originating from Japan team lab is a unique Museum offering immersive experiences with Innovative digital artworks the museum has made a name for itself around the world having expanded to the US Singapore and China today it is one of the most popular spots visited

By Foreign tourists in Japan the Museum’s activities are not limited to art exhibition but also include various lifestyle art spaces such as the famous G six department store in Chio vegan ramen restaurant to Temple in Kyo and renowned hotels this video will focus on the team love Museum which opened in February

2024 on the basement floor of azabudai Hills azabudai Hills a v commercial complex in Tokyo opened a few months before the team love Museum it has gr considerable attention notably because one of its buildings at 330 m is currently Japan’s toilet skycraper number two team love toyosu or

Adab Hills some of you watching this video may already no this but in Tokyo in addition to the team Lab at aaba Hills which is opening this time there is also a team lab in toyosu the toyosu one is already a very popular Museum having been visited by

Notable figures like Mr Elon Musk and Mr Beast you may be wondering whether to visit the newest team love in aab buai featured in this video or the one in toyosu that has been established for some time of course you may plan to visit B but your time and budget are

Limited right here is a comparison of the team love Concept in azabu and toyosu my impression of Team love adab is that it offers an opportunity for you to take your time and immerse yourself in the overwhelming number of artworks on the other hand the team love in

Toyosu is more suited for those who prefer to spend a shorter time with each work here’s a detailed comparison it takes about 3 to 5 hours to see the artwor at a while it takes about 2 hours for toyosu aai features more than 50 Works whereas

Toyosu has about 10 works but aab covers 7,000 square m while toyosu span 10,000 square m which means toyosu has a larger area additionally aai has no set route allowing you the freedom to explore while toosa offer the set basic fruit speaking of prices the team love

In a starts at the minimum of 3,800 and can increase to a maximum of 4,800 depending on the season in contrast toyos ticket price as of febrary is 3,800 y for all days be sure that the price will be revised starting March 2024 with an increase of 400 y on

Saturdays Sundays holidays and special periods in terms of access the team love in azabudai is directly connected to kamyo station and is also close to Rob station on the other hand the team love in toyosu is nearest to Shin toyosu or toyosu stations both are located in chyo and

You can take a train or C from Shinjuku or Shibuya which are Central areas but I think azabudai is more accessible from these Central locations I’ve shared with you the rough differences between the team love locations in azabudai and toyosu in the following sections let me

Share the tips and Deals you need to know before actually visiting team love in azabudai Hills number three how to buy a ticket the team love in azabudai is an extremely popular spot so reservations are basically required there are several ways to purchase but most people probably purchase from the

Official website or from a ticket agency like cluk I personally recommend that you make a reservation with cluk they also sponsored this video it offers activities and tours in thousands of locations around the world including popular facilities such as as Disneyland and Universal Studios as well as theme

Lab what I love about Gluk is it userfriendly interface it seems like they know exactly what you need they’ve got your language and currency sorted and the prices they are always offering discounts which would be a huge Plus for you the best part you can find pretty much any travel experience you’re

Looking for all in one place and cherry blossom season is here right you can use my 15 discounts for over 100 destinations across Japan including team Lo I’ve provided the link and discount code in the description below this offer will be available until March 10th so don’t miss it oh and downloading the

Clue cop it’s super quick to set up and before you know it you’ll be booking your next adventure number four Essentials and attire first up let’s talk about what to wear given the many exhibits and expectations of spending a considerable amount of time exploring I recommend wearing comfortable clothing suitable

For walking despite rev visit in February during winter the Museum’s heating was surprisingly effective making it somewhat warm inside I think it’s enough to leave thick coats in the free loer and just wear a thin shirt heels and tight clothing which are difficult to move in should be avoided

It’s also important to note that some flowers are as reflective as mirrors you know what I mean it’s wise to avoid wearing skirts or rough pants that might reveal your underwear in the reflections next up here are some tips on what to bring luggage can be stored

In the free lockers located next to the reception desk allowing you to enjoy the exhibits empty handed but please be aware that luggage exceeding 50 cm in length is not permitted inside the museum I think many of you carry valubles such as smartphones and wallets with them so it’s convenient to have a

Small cross body bag that leaves both hands free additionally since you’ll be walking a lot it’s important to stay hydrated you are allowed to bring in plastic or water bottles alternatively vending machines inside the museum over water for purchase number five how to get there aaba hills where team lab is

Located consists of several Towers each with its own name team lab is situated on the first basement floor of Garden Plaza B there are multiple modes of transportation to get there including a taxi train and bus first up a popular option for many of you is to take the train from Shibuya

Station the most recommended route is as follows from Shia station take the Tokyo toyoka line to nakara station then transfer to the Tokyo metro hiia line continue on the Tokyo metro hiia line from nakamuro station to Kamia Jo station and use exit 5 team lab is directly connected to Exit 5 making

Access straight forward the journey takes about 20 minutes cost 180 Yen and trains run approximately every few minutes next up this is the recommended access method if you’re traveling from Shinjuku station take the Tokyo Metro Maro line to kasasi station then transfer to the Tokyo metro heav line to kamacho station

Exit 5 the trip also takes about 30 minutes cost 21 Yen and trains run nearly as frequently as CIA station for directions from other stations Navi time Japan a transportation app can be very helpful it’s easy to use I’ve explained how to navigate it in my previous video if

You’re interested please watch it later if opting for a c the journey from Shinjuku takes about 30 minutes and cost approximately 4,000 Yen from Shibuya it takes about 20 minutes and cost around 2,000 Yen number six how to enjoy display as I mentioned at the beginning

Of this video team love in aabu features more than 10 works of art all of which are impressive and offer an immersive experience unlike any other here are some of the highlights first up the main space this area boasts the largest space within the facility where various works

Of art are displayed and the scenery changes from time to time you can sit down to enjoy photos and videos or even sit on a large Rock and engage with the art in a variety of ways the next area I’d like to introduce is called Bubble Universe this area is

Centered around the theme of teams of new art project sculpture of perception it is considered one of the highlights of the adav hills artworks the space is filled with a group of spans that simmer like soft bubbles each with varing brightness since this is a popular area

And the number of visitors is limited you can enjoy the beautiful space without it being too crowded however you should be prepared to wait about 30 minutes to enter this area finally I’d like to share the piece that impressed me the most this work is experienced by

Standing at the entrance near the center of the space a diverse group of portraits moves freely through the space singing and their singing intensifies as they approach visitors these portraits are drawn by a computer program in real time constantly changing making each moment a unique experience while I have

Shown the display here there are other ways to enjoy it as well number seven how to enjoy Cafe team lab has a cafe called empty house this is the only place in the museum where you can enjoy eating and drinking with the menu centered around tea when the menu is placed on the

Tatami ma style counter inside the restaurant a flower blooms around the plate this time I had the Macha coconut ice cream and H chalate the menu also includes about 10 other items such as chamomile latte and water drizzled green tea with hu the cafe is set to represent

The tea and the teacup becomes an infinite World in which the flowers continue to bloom payment is made directly with cash or card be sure to have your valuables on hand not in a coin Locker number eight how to enjoy drawing last up team lab has an area

Called sketch ocean where you can experience drawing here you can draw your own fish and have them swim in a display that mimics the inside of an ocean even if you do not draw a fish yourself you can just admire the unique fish that others have drown participating in the sketch

Ocean experience is free but be prepared to wait several dozen minutes as it is extremely popular for an additional fee you can also have your printed fish printed on towels or t-shirts I bought a towel what do you think of my towel design here’s something important to

Note the text will be inverted when it is scanned if you’re trying to include some text remember not to reverse what you have drawn number nine where to eat in your team love a here where team love is located both many restaurants among them I’d like to recommend tonat kabura a

Restaurant situated in the same building as team lab the restaurant specializes in Tatu using Hayashi SPF a brand Nam pork produced in cha prefecture despite the presence of many nearby restaurants at aaba Hills charging tens of thousands of Yen the prices here are reasonable starting at 1,400 the restaurant is particularly

Popular during lunch hours so a long wait is expected if you’re looking to avoid the line the best time to visit is around 3: to 4:00 p.m. if you explore the other Towers you will find numerous other dining options for example one of the restaurants I visited offered great

Pasta if you’re planning to D at adabu Hills be sure to check it out beforehand number 10 things to do near team lab here are some suggestions for nearby places to visit before or after your visit to the team lab in azabudai nearby places including Tokyo Tower and

The rongi area Tokyo Tower is only a 10-minute walk away and you can enjoy the night view from its observation deck another option is to visit red Tokyo Tower a spot within the facility where you can experience esorts red Tokyo Tower in particular offers a pass at a reduced price

Starting at 5:00 p.m. if you have enough energy you might consider visiting the there after your team lab tour alternatively Kamia Jo station which is directly connected to team lab is one stop away from rongi station known for its nightlife rongi is Ned with many fashionable bars clubs and isaka

Japanese style PPS Kachi and isaka restaurant is about a 10-minute walk from rongi station it is one of my favorite restaurants in rongi and was the inspiration for a thing in the movie Kill whe if you have time before or after your visit to Team LA please stop

  1. nice, my friend and I will be visiting Japan next month we can't wait to try team labs. thank you for sharing this information, and those food recommendations look really good!

  2. I was thinking of going to this, but the advertised exhibits do not seem to be as expansive or fun as TeamLab Borderless was. The promoted pieces lack the interactive element, and takes a long time to go through (30 minutes wait for one display? I'll skip that display and go to the next one!). The obvious solution would be to go to TeamLab Planets; but I don't fancy the 'foot soup' experience.

Half a day covering 50 pieces is too long. By the time you exit, it is time to go home on the train before rush hour and after being in the dark for all that time, good luck knowing which train you are getting on! LOL

  3. I am going to Japan in wow 10 days and have a ticket to TeamLab Azabudai and this video was perfect for letting me know what to expect and what to do in the area when done Arigato. Also I just Subscribed.
