As a delegate of "the west", we wouldn't eat any of that. Maybe they meant like Italy or something.
It does make we wonder why they don't offer Gran class on the toukaidou shinkansen.

Ah, if only I were young enough to go to Japan again I'd love to take that luxury train. There's nothing like it where I live.
Do something different and rare in Osaka, join a meetup and meet and talk to locals who enjoy speaking English with foreigners.
I got an upgrade to first class once on the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Toyohashi. I forgot how wonderful train travel could be until this video. Thanks.
