  1. You weren't hungry? 🤣🤣🤣
It's so unusual to see a building like that In Japan (not that I'm any sort of expert); but they are really common here and in Europe. You could see that it was a Church at the very first sight, as a lot of them were built in that style many years ago and in countless, more modern, reproductions.
I apologise in advance if you know this already but, this was in the Gothic Style of architecture, which originated in Northern France about 800-900 years ago, In fact, many of the buildings in London, that you would have seen on your travels, are in this style. Westminster Abbey is such a building, but Tower Bridge (opened in 1896), is a reproduction. The Gothic arch on the windows and doorways and inside the building, are pointed, as opposed the Roman Arches, which were rounded. The original St. Paul's Cathedral was built in the Gothic style, but the new one (built in the 17th century), was built in the Roman style.
This Church was built after World War One and is, therefore, a reproduction – like many buildings that survive in London and Europe. The café has a German name – Freundlieb , meaning 'Dear Friend' (as you probably knew).
Thank you for another lovely video, and apologies if I was telling you something that you already knew. 🥰🥰🥰
