I dream to travel to all the prefectures of Japan. Part 2/47 of that dream is documented here. At the end of each trip, I get stop and feel vibe of the place which I have put into words in the end.
I have always been someone who believes on God, the superpower above every being. But a visit to Wakayama showed me why one should believe in such a power. The calm that you feel from trusting on that supremacy is compared to none.
This has to be once in a lifetime experience, be it living in the shukubo, watching the monk lifestyle up close, the walk in the cemetery at night or just the overall vibe of the place. It’s simply surreal.
Simply put, Koyasan in Wakayama gives you a glimpse of the essence of Nirvana.
