Last night it was -10-15 and snowing whole night The parking area has cars covered in snow I am at Sappopro Japan It is the Northern part of Japan It is an awesome place Nidheesh and myself are going to explore some food today

Can feel and awesome aroma That car was almost covered yesterday too It was like white night last night here Full of snow We struggled a bit to come from the airport You would have seen it in yesterdays video

Today we are going directly for lunch We didnt have breakfast Looks like I am here for Christmas But this is February In the middle of the road, the median is covered in snow Trees and buildings are all covered in snow

The snow in this area has been cleared. That is why it is neat here People cannot walk otherwise We are going to an Asian bar to have Raman Raman is famous here in Japan Passed the first door. Not let us enter the 2nd door

Can see a Ganesha here We have come inside the restaurant This restaurant is in the Hokkaido region. You can feel an Indian Buddhist atmosphere in here People here are waiting for food We have to wait for at least 30mts to have food That is the situation here

But this reservation culture is there at many places and even at barber shops too We take appointments to meet doctors The same is there everywhere I still remember when we had gone to see a campervan in London, They asked if we had a reservation for enquiry

You see all that here Finally we got a table to sit at It is very cold outside. They have kept a jug of water with lot of ice cubes in it You get water for free in Japan Menu is written in Japanese language

They have all kinds of meat. We can do add ons too Can add extra chicken or vegetables etc You can buy extra rice too You have hot and cold drinks here. Even tea and coffee are sold hot and cold Sapporo special beer and cocktails are avialable

They have desserts too We ordered a soup curry with lot of vegetables and meat Had ordered a hot tea and it has come He ordered a misk lassi which is lemon flavoured Cinammon flavoured tea

This is not our kind of thick lassi which is heavy This is lighter and is like milk They have put ice in it and served Our food is here Our soup curry is here Soup curry was first made in Sapporo Japan

Like how butter chicken was invented, this was invented in a cafe here It is inspired and invented as a fusion dish of Indian, Indonesian and Chinese We asked them to make it spicy I think they cook all the vegetables they have and add it in this dish

2 quail eggs and a chicken leg piece in here Lot of vegetables and meat cooked with spices You have Indian spices like turmeric and garam masala too in it So Indians are to like it I guess. Nidheesh is enjoying it

They serve Japanese rice with it. It is cooked adding turmeric and is called turmeric rice It is like sticky rice. This is what you get in Japan. Japanese rice and the curry is mixed and had or can be had separate too

You can have it as a soup or anyways you like. I could feel the smell of this masala even outside I could feel it during our intro shoot. Let me try it out now. Yummy

You cannot call it a Japanese dish It is a different item This is not the type of rice we have or like If our kind of rice was served with this, it would have been amazing They have made it a fusion dish

Let me try it out with rice Good. I had asked them to make it extra spicy But it is just as spicy as we have You can have it. This is not sweet. Usually all their dishes are sweet But this is not sweet.

It is a healthy dish Vegetables are cooked and served in big pieces We cannot eat them as it is Have to use a spoon and fork to cut and eat A big piece of pumpkin too in here

I have finished my lunch Just 2 pieces of pumpkin left which is sweet and so I didnt have I didnt like the lotus root in here and so kept that aside too This was amazing.

We have more of food exploring coming up Shall have little lassi before I leave Had food It is not very expensive Look at what is happening here outside. It is snowing It is sunny and snowing too When we went inside, the weather was good.

Now it has begun to snow Places here are very silent You dont find anybody making any sound I am not able to talk because it is that cold Good jacket. I want to buy one like this. We have to go to Europe

This is the best time to visit Japan Earlier 100Yen was 60 INR Now it is 55INR Last time I had to pay 60INR to get 100Yen Nothing has gone expensive here Nidheesh works in Sapporo province

During winter the electricity bill goes high. People use heaters all the time Rate for vegetables go high. Government gives subsidy to people living here at that time Look how the side of the roads are Looks like snow mountains

It is not a snow mountain. The snow here at the petrol pump was moved that side For it not to harden from there, it is removed daily Or it will harden there Can see vehicles coming and taking them regularly

I want to shop some winter clothes. Mine are not suitable for this cold Even my shoes cant be worn on snow I will slip wearing this shoes walking over the snow Finally we have reached Uniqlo

I took two pairs of socks. Took gloves that can be used to touch mobiles I am taking one of that kind Cant walk without gloves at some time I am going to show you Uniqlo billing I have put the things in a basket here

They asked if I have an app and I said no They have scanned and is showing me what all I have shopped Awesome technology You just have to keep the basket of things in there

Kept my bag there and selected the language. Asks if I have an app. No app Machine scans our products and shows us I did a card payment and got a receipt See how simple the billing is I dont know how the scanning took place

I came to buy this kind of jacket But didnt get it When we got out of Uniqlo, it is snowing again Now it is snowing heavily Look at the snow over a vehicle here They clear the sides and drive leaving the top part like that

It is like Columbia and North Face brands Nice colourful jackets Nice winter wears and sports wears too I tried out many jackets I liked this a lot. Can be used at Europe But it is very heavy It looked good on me

But this is one that is worn while climbing mountains You can wear it in extreme winters You can wear it simple It covers your neck When it snows, you can cover your head too It is only upto your waist It is like shirt length

Planning to take it It is a bit expensive. Let me see Finally I am buying the most expensive jacket I have ever taken so far 30000Yen That is nearly 19000 INR They will fold that and put it in a small bag now

That is the highlight of it. Can be taken in a handbag too They folded it and now putting it in that bag You can take that big jacket in a small bag like this It is an all weather kind jacket that can be used upto -10 deg C

They said it can be used during snowfall That is 20000 INR product Looks like a sleeping bag now Gone. My cash has gone. All these are an investment

I visit lot of cold countries So it will be useful. It is light in weight. I dotn have to take heavy ones Since I paid so much, I shall exaggerate a bit
