First Day = ALL THE SNACKS! + finding my designs in stores :)

Back in Japan and it feels so right. After landing at Haneda Airport, I immediately got some snacks before heading to my Kawasaki home, then went off on an adventure to take advantage of a beautiful day.

I went to Yumemigasaki Zoo and had an amazing view of Mt. Fuji, got some sweet potato donuts from Mister Donuts, headed to Sakuragicho in Yokohama and got an even crazier view from the observation deck, found SO many of my designs in stores, then headed to Kawasaki station to check out another store that had my products.

I finished the day strong at Sushiro and ordered so many plates of the freshest sushi plus a few dessert plates. Such an epic first day back in my home country 🙂

Start the day there’s something pretty satisfying about organizing trash in Japan even though it’s tedious I think it’s because I feel bad about how much plastic they use and everything but this just feels nice so I’m back in Japan and of course I have to get really dumb toys from the

Kachao machine I probably spend way too much money money on these things but when I find something I like it brings me so much joy these are like little zipper pouches in a shape of a banana and you can get it based on ripeness you just don’t know which one you’re going

To get I am so happy with it I ended up using it for the whole trip Stand Finally home get to kick off my shoes and relax for a little bit but honestly it’s so nice out that it would feel wasteful not to head back out and enjoy the sunshine so I’m going to go to my favorite little freeo that I’ve gone to since I was a kid called you Second this park has a few different entrances but I always forget which is which I just happen to pick the one with tons of stairs but I think it’ll be worth it it’s such a clear day day outside that I think I’ll be able to see Mount Fuji from the top so we’ll

See after a little warm-up stair session I treat myself to a fun little drink of the vending machine every time I get here it’s kind of like tradition they don’t have the drink that I always used to get as a kid but they Chang the variety in these machines a lot so it’s

Kind of fun seeing what kind of flavors they have today there are so many choices though that sometimes I can’t make up my mind so I was being a bit indecisive I didn’t really know which one I wanted if I wanted like a hot drink or a cold drink

Or a small one or a big one but in the end I went with one of my trusty favorites the lemon squash it’s like a lemon soda it’s so Good I’ve been going to this park since I was in probably strollers or maybe in my mom’s belly but this park means so much to me and it’s so fun to see the different seasons here because Springtime you get cherry blossoms winter you get snow summertime it’s fun

Cuz all the kids are around and they do little field trips here and right now you can actually see Mount Fuji pretty Clearly Sh Okay first actually sweet potato snacks and sweet potato bom guhan and Mr donuts can you guess what flavor daimo which is like sweet potato like Candi sweet potato and sweet potato cran Boule so maybe just maybe I might like Japanese sweet potato oh oh my God look at that oops clean That okay that three more time oh oh My M hopefully that M So Soft not too sweet which is like the Asian standard sweet on the outside and fluffy and not crumbly but fluffy on the inside but this crane brulee one look at that oh my gosh the cranet part is sweet but it’s just so

Good the base is the sweet potato Pingu which is like the circle ring I didn’t explain it well it’s just really balanced it’s not sickeningly sweet it’s just light and fluffy and you could eat so many of these I’m going to finish these Donuts fuel up charge my phone and head

Wanted to see if they had any new stuff this time but first since visibility has been so good I wanted to see what the view could look like from a higher location so this is Landmark Tower and their observation deck is on the 69th floor the elevator

To see it in person they have my name on it it’s just it’s so cool getting to see my designs in real life it just never gets old we are now heading from Queen Square to World Porters which is a shopping area that has this huge Hawaiian section

But first we’re going to walk through this little amusement park which actually has some crazy roller Coasters this store called Aloha Street has really beautiful Hawaiian inspired jewelry and artwork and my mom and I always used to come here to look at what’s trending and what’s popular and what’s fun and it was really exciting to see my products here and they have such

A big variety of the things that I’ve Created Local motion is another store that’s always been so supportive of my art and and they even kept the signature card I made for them back in 2020 which I’ll show you in a bit but first let’s just appreci appreciate how many of my things

They have I am so so so grateful to have them as one of my Stores there’s my signature so this is kah which is another Hawaiian inspired store which has the cutest home decor and really cute clothes so it’s really fun to see my bags in here too I really think that my artwork and my style really fits the scene Here Right across the way is a store called Hawaiian style which also carry my products so I definitely wanted to give them a shout out because I am so appreciative of how supportive they’ve been of me as an Artist last but not least is my AA galleries who handpicks their artist to make aloha shirts and I was chosen last year or maybe a little bit longer ago but it’s fun to see that they still carry my Shirts a day trip to Sako wouldn’t be complete without some matcha ice cream this is one of my favorite places to get it and I am so loving it I definitely got a little energy boost from the ice cream so I am leaving sakuro but I’m going to push it and head to Kawasaki to visit the other masaki sports store to check out my goods There although some of these are chain stores that carry the same products I do try my best to visit each and every one of them that I can and say hi to the staff because I want to show them my appreciation for their support and I

Also find it interesting to see how each store displays and merchandises their products in a creative way this store even has my skateboard all right I am wiped out so it’s time for sushi they also serve all you can drink hot green tea and I am here for It so here you can order off an iPad and when your sushi plate comes you can pick it off off the tray but you have to remember to only pick the sushi from your assigned table color they also have miso soup chaam Mushi and honestly they have some new special role
