Kyushu Jangara, the ramen restaurant with the most repeat customers in Akihabara

In this second installment of my Akihabara feature, I will be introducing Kyushu Jangara, the ramen restaurant with the most repeat customers in Akihabara.
Ramen is often eaten in Japan, but TONKOTSU(pork bone) ramen has a strong taste and is very picky.
Kyushu Jangara is one of the famous TONKOTSU ramen restaurants and is still crowded with both Japanese and foreigners.
Recently, vegan ramen has also been developed.
If you are planning to go to Akihabara or have never eaten ramen, be sure to visit.
I hope this video will be helpful for your Akihabara trip.

In this second Akihabara feature, I will be introducing Kyushu Jangara, a TONKOTSU(pork bone) ramen restaurant. If you are interested in ramen, this is one of the restaurants you should definitely visit. This is what the area around the store looks like.

In addition to the menu, the exterior also conveys the restaurant’s atmosphere and commitment. The ramen menu is displayed in a large format. It is easy to understand the price of each menu item’s toppings and side menu prices. There is also a menu for foreigners. Menus are available in English, Chinese, Korean, and Thai.

There’s always a line of people, so take your time considering which ramen to order. Recently, vegan ramen has also been developed. It is made with only barley, beans, and vegetables, without using any animal ingredients. What I order is Kobonshan Ramen. Kobonshan Ramen is a fragrant dish made with plenty of roasted sesame seeds.

The flavor of sesame seeds goes perfectly with the rich pork bone soup. Now let’s go inside the store. The restaurant is small and seats about 10 people. However, customers come and go quickly, so you don’t have to wait long.

This is the water that is served when you enter the store. Cold and delicious! A chopstick holder and tissues are placed at the back of the table. Red ginger and mustard greens are placed on the table. Other items include pepper, sesame, garlic, and salt. All are free to use.

This is red ginger. This is ginger pickled in plum vinegar. There is a slight sweetness within the sourness. Pickled Chinese mustard. Chili peppers are added and fermented to add saltiness and spiciness. Although tastes vary, adding raw garlic to ramen makes the flavor more exciting and delicious.

The table has an umbrella stand, so you can sit comfortably even on rainy days. Souvenirs and notices are posted at the counter. You can take home pickled mustard greens and dried ramen. If you like the ramen here, buy some souvenirs. This is Kyushu Jangara’s famous Kobonshan ramen.

The rich pork bone soup and the flavor of burnt sesame oil are irresistible. There are also roast pork, MENTAIKO(spicy pollack roe), etc., so the rich flavor is absorbed into the soup. This soup has the flavors of pork, seafood, and vegetables swirled with the flavor of sesame seeds.

If you don’t mind the garlic, add about two spoonfuls. Even if you’re planning to meet someone right now, the more garlic you add, the better your ramen will be. The noodles are mixed with the ramen soup and garlic, making it an incredible dish.

Roast pork is so soft that it falls apart when picked with chopsticks. It is cooked sweet and spicy and is very juicy. This boiled egg is also exquisite. Half-boiled eggs are soaked in soy sauce. The flavor of the eggs and soy sauce brings out the flavor of the ramen.

If you want to add saltiness to your ramen, add mustard greens. It also adds spiciness, which further changes the taste of the ramen. If you run out of ramen, you can get another bowl of noodles. It takes a few minutes to boil, so we recommend ordering early. Shoot the noodles into the bowl.

Stir well to even out the taste. Now you can continue eating exciting ramen again. Thank you for the meal. (Price for ramen and noodles) I would be happy if you were captivated by the charm of this ramen. The next video is a deep introduction to Akihabara. Thank you for watching this video.

Have a nice trip.
