Lake Shikaribetsu in Hokkaido, Japan, is the highest point in Hokkaido at 810 meters above sea level. Every winter, Lake Shikaribetsu hosts an event called Shikaribetsu-kotan. It is a wonderful event where visitors can enjoy a drink in a building made of ice and snow, and take a hot spring bath in the snowy landscape.
