Hello, thank you for watching. In this video, I would like to go around Lake Biwa using the “Seishun 18 Kippu.” The departure is from Osaka Station, the going is via Maibara on the Biwako Line to Tsuruga, and the return is from Kosai. Return from Yamashina via the same route.

This time, the first ride will be from Osaka Station at 9:30, bound for Maibara, bound for Omi-Shiozu. The first four of the 12-car train will take you to Omi-Shiozu. , the back eight cars will be separated at Maibara. A special rapid train has arrived.

The rope fence will go up and you will board the first car, No. 12. We departed from Osaka Station . The seats are almost full, and the right side behind the driver’s seat is There was already a person right behind the driver, so I stretched out and looked ahead. The

Special rapid train ran like a monster between Osaka and Kyoto. It was a very pleasant ride. Purisu will overtake the local train that runs leisurely on the inner line at high speed from the outer line.It will arrive in Kyoto in about 30 minutes.Compared to Hankyu, Umeda – Kawaramachi, 43 minutes,

Keihan, Yodoyabashi – Gion Shijo, 47 minutes. I can see that the speed is overwhelmingly fast.I left Kyoto Station.Immediately after leaving, I crossed the Kamogawa River.I left Yamashina Station. Here it branches off from the Kosei Line. The track climbs up the elevated track. This is the Kosei Line.On

My way back from Tsuruga, I plan to take the Kosei Line, so I will join here on my way back.I left Ishiyama Station.Immediately after leaving Ishiyama Station, I could see a little bit of Biwa. The Biwako Line connects with Lake Biwa. However, the lake can only be clearly seen for this moment.I

Left Kusatsu Station. The station name is Kusatsu, but unlike the famous hot spring resorts in Gunma Prefecture, it is an ordinary commuter town.Kusatsu Line , track heading towards Tsuge. However, there were four tracks up to Kusatsu, but from Kusatsu there were two tracks, making it a double track. The

Scenery along the line has also changed to a peaceful scenery. Now, it is practically , Hikone Castle, the castle that Hikonyan is the lord of, started to look small in the distance. When I was carelessly looking away, it looked so small that I almost missed it🏯This is it!! ️It

Was a moment. I can’t see it anymore. We’ve arrived at Hikone Station . To meet Hikonyan, you can walk for 15 minutes from here. By the way, Hikonyan’s appearance schedule and appearance locations are posted online, so be sure to check them out . If you go after that, it may be certain.

After passing under the elevated Shinkansen, you will arrive at Maibara Station. At this station, proceed from the Tokaido Main Line to the Hokuriku Main Line. “ Ahead, Tokaido Line, Samegai, Sekigahara direction.” “The regular train to Ogaki departs at exactly 11 o’clock.” “ The train departs from platform 7.” “

The Hokuriku Line, limited express Shirasagi No. 5, bound for Kanazawa,” “ 10:56, across the street, platform 5.” ` `This train “The front 4 cars are bound for Omi Shiotsu.” “The train departs at 11:01.” “ Please be careful not to miss your train.” “

The rear 8 cars of this train will be separated at the next Maibara Station.” From here onwards, the length and number of trains will be significantly reduced in the direction of Nagahama and Tsuruga.Up to this point, we have come in a 12-car train, but

At this station, we will disconnect the last eight cars and change the train to Omi. Heading to Shiotsu . Before arriving at Nagahama Station, you can see Lake Biwa for a moment. Arrive at Nagahama Station . Get off the train once. Immediately near Nagahama Station is Nagahama Railway Square,

The oldest existing railway in Japan. There are exhibits about the station building and railways. There are also armrest signals and actual railway cars on display. And from the observation deck, you can see the Hokuriku Line trains actually running up close. Just in time. The limited express Shirasagi passed by.I returned

To the station and headed to Omi-Shiotsu.This is the new rapid train that was an hour later than the train I had just boarded. After leaving Nagahama, the train headed towards the Oku-Biwako area. “Next stop is the last stop, Omi Shiotsu.” After leaving Yogo Station, Lake Biwa came into view on the left

…But then I thought, it wasn’t Lake Biwa, but Lake Yogo.Lake Yogo was selected as one of the Eight Views of Lake Hubei. It is a representative lake of Hubei , beautiful all year round . “Soon to be the last stop, Omi Shiotsu.” “ The exit is on the left.”

Here you will meet the Kosei Line, which splits at Yamashina. “Get on the bus.” Thank you very much.’ ‘ “We’re almost at the last stop, Omi Shiotsu.” The special rapid train we had taken so far entered the garage to turn around.

At Omi Shiotsu, there was a waiting time of about 25 minutes. The train I ‘m going to take from here is the special rapid train bound for Tsuruga, which came from the Kosei Line. The special rapid train I rode earlier came in as a train headed for Himeji.

, I was immediately surprised by the size of the area of the new rapid train heading back to Himeji. The next train, the new rapid train bound for Tsuruga, from the Kosei Line, came in and departed , going to the next station, Shinhikita Station. After exiting, we passed an unusual loop line. When I

Looked out the train window, the up line had disappeared somewhere. When I looked at the map, I noticed that the down line was going straight towards Tsuruga. The up line draws a large loop and goes all the way around. On

The left side of the out line, which you are currently riding, you will draw a large circle. In the section ahead, go under the up line towards the loop line. Pass through this area.At this point , the ascending line finally parallels us.We will soon arrive at Tsuruga

Station.Construction to extend the Hokuriku Shinkansen is underway at a rapid pace. The Shinkansen vehicles have also come this far.The Shinkansen Directly below the elevated track, a connecting conventional line was constructed. After its opening , Thunderbird and Shirasagi trains will be able to ride on this line. This

Will allow for quick transfers between the Shinkansen and conventional lines. Today , we arrived at Tsuruga Station , the turnaround point for the day.The new rapid train we had taken so far would turn around and take us to Himeji via the Kosei Line.We would take the limited express train

That had just come from Kanazawa. Thunderbird has arrived. The Thunderbird service between Kanazawa and Tsuruga will be discontinued from March, as the first train will depart from Tsuruga.Thunderbirds arriving from Kanazawa at this platform will also be available until March.Tsuruga Station is 3 On August 16th, major construction work was being carried out

For the extension of the Hokuriku Shinkansen. From the overpass at Tsuruga Station, you can see the Hokuriku Shinkansen station under construction and the platforms of conventional lines . The new rapid train that had just turned around and was about to depart was closed off at the end of the passageway, but

The Hokuriku Shinkansen Tsuruga Station was almost completed. From March 16th onwards, this passageway was closed. Proceeding forward, you can board the Shinkansen. Through the gap between the barricades, you can see a little bit. This is an elevated bridge in the direction of Kyoto, where the tracks are broken. It

Looks like there will be a lot more construction to come. March Posters and billboards were posted everywhere in preparation for the extension on the 16th. This is the current timetable for Tsuruga Station. The section between Tsuruga and Kanazawa will be abolished and

Transferred to the third sector IR Ishikawa Railway and Happy Line Fukui. As expected from Fukui, the dinosaur kingdom. Dinosaurs are also sitting on benches, waiting for the train. The train I’m about to board, via the Kosei Line, bound for Himeji, has arrived

. I’ll take this train back to Osaka Station, my departure station. Tsuruga Station. We left Tsuruga Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen, which we can’t wait to open. “ Thank you for waiting, and thank you for riding.” “ This train is a new rapid train, via the Kosai Line.” I’m heading to Himeji.”

What you can see right now out of the train window is the view of Tsuruga City , where you should have just departed. The train is heading in the direction of Tsuruga. It’s currently running on the loop line. The train is once running in the direction of Tsuruga. After

This, it turns further and heads in the direction of Lake Biwa.It has arrived at Omi-Shiotsu Station. The train that is stopping there is a special rapid train that has come from the Maibara area. The train departed from Omi-Shiotsu Station. It branches off from the

Hokuriku Line heading towards Maibara. After leaving Omi-Shiotsu and branching off to the Hokuriku Line, Lake Biwa comes into view immediately . The Kosai Line is a high-standard track, and there are no railroad crossings. The alignment is good, so it’s suitable for high-speed driving.

“Omi Nakasho, Omi Nakasho. The exit is on the left.” The special rapid train travels across a wide, empty plain.Soon , it will arrive at Omi-Imazu 4 The new rapid train that came in two cars connects an eight-car train in front of it at this station, making it a 12-car

Train. The connecting train is parked on the platform, so it arrives at the station at a slow speed . The driver’s brake operation was very cool. We moved to the front of the connected train. We departed from Omi- Imazu

. As expected, the new rapid train stopped at every station on the way to Omi-Maiko. After that, the special rapid train showed its true potential and showed high-speed running.Although the Biwako Line has the name “Lake Biwa”, you could hardly see Lake Biwa, but

The Kosai Line, for a considerable part, is close to Lake Biwa. The Kosai Line is a very good line, as you can move comfortably while looking at the beautiful scenery of Lake Biwa in all four seasons. The problem is that the limited express Thunderbird is frequently suspended. In

Such cases, the limited express Thunderbird will be operated around the Biwako Line.“Omi Maiko, this is Omi Maiko. The exit is on the right.”“ When you leave Omi Maiko, The next stop is Katata.” We passed Shiga Station in Shiga Prefecture. It

Has the same name as the prefecture, but of course it is not the prefectural capital. The location of Shiga Prefecture is Otsu City.We will arrive at Katata Station . Apartments and residential areas begin to increase in the vicinity. “Yamashina, this is Yamashina. The exit is on the right.” “

Once you leave Yamashina, the next stop is Kyoto.” Just before Yamashina Station, it merges with the Biwako Line. From Shimasu Yamashina, it takes about 35 minutes to get to Osaka. “ From Takatsuki, take the rapid train bound for Himeji, bound for Aboshi, and arrive at the same platform number 5.” “

Sagano San’in Line, Nijo, Kameoka, Sonobe bound, number 32.” , Platform 33.” “ When getting off the train, please be careful not to leave anything in the train.” We arrived at Kyoto Station, competing with the Shinkansen. “ For Kyobashi and Tsuruhashi, stop at Platform 2.” `

`Hankyu Line , the Hanshin Line, and the subway line.” “ This train is a special rapid train bound for Himeji.” “After leaving Osaka, it will stop at Amagasaki, Ashiya, Sannomiya, and Kobe in that order.” “ Please use JR West again today.” Thank you very much.”I arrived at Osaka Station.I

Used my Seishun 18 ticket for a trip around Biwa.I left Osaka Station and took the Biwako Line, via Maibara and Nagahama, changing at Omi Shiotsu and taking the Shinkansen extension. I went to Tsuruga,

Where the water springs, and on the way back I went around Lake Biwa via the Kosei Line and came back.It was a very long distance, but the comfortable running at Shinkai speed and the comfortable ride made it possible to travel smoothly without getting tired.

The platform of Osaka Station illuminated by the setting sun was absolutely beautiful. Thank you for watching . That’s all for this video. I will continue to post videos about trains, travel, and hotels, so please rate them highly. Please subscribe to the channel. I would
