After a 4 hour train ride from Sapporo we headed to our hotel to drop off our bags so we could  explore the morning market. Even though it was early there were just enough people to make it a lively but not too crowded experience Try it out. Now? Yum!

It s more pudding and then at the end a little bit of pumpkin. Hmm wow! It s like so cold outside, we’re wearing beanies. And like two jackets. And we re eating ice cream. Straight through. But by far, my favorite part of the market was this coffee stand.

I don t know, but Japanese coffee just has that non bitter deep flavor that takes me back a couple of decades. If you haven’ tried it, I really suggest you try a cup of black coffee, no sugar added, no milk. Trust me! You’re gonna love it.

For lunch, we decided on a conveyor belt sushi place. This is was our  first time visiting one in Japan. And as of editing this video, I am still dreaming about the snow crab and the scallops from here. and just as dreamy was seeing the autumn foliage throughout  the warehouses.

So we’re in Hakodate. We’re in the Red Brick Warehouse. We just got here at 10:00 o’clock. We just ate and now we’re checking out the red warehouses. A lot of Ghibli stuff here. And just when we thought we had seen the most beautiful building we turned the corner and met the 3 iconic warehouses

And the most amazing thing happened: it started snowing at that moment. You re gonna like this one. We’re here in Hakodate we just went to that slope incline thats popular and now we re going to the ropeway. So we can get a better view of the city. There are lot of historical buildings nearby.

Here s a Roman Catholic Church. Over here… People just came out of school. Over here there’s some interesting buildings. So at this point already in from of the ropeway entrance you can already see a good view of the city. We were a little worried about the visibility up at the top.

Kind of was a little doubtful about whether she should go up still but I am so glad we stuck the plan and took our chances. So we’re gonna have dinner. At the Hokodate Beer Hall. In the red brick warehouse. We’re gonna try some Genghis Khan and some potatoes.

Ok, just got out of the Red Brick Warehouses. We had some Genghis Khan. The verdict is… It was really good! The Genghis Khan was like soy, ginger, some of it was soft, some of it was a little chewy But the flavor was really good! The potatoes they were to die for! So soft, buttery.

We’re walking back to the hotel. From the Red Brick Warehouse it’s about a 5 minute walk. I think we’re just gonna call it a night. Really really really like Hakodate! And Sapporo! Tomorrow we’re going down to Aomori, so this concludes our Hokkaido stay. But overall, really really happy to come here. I love Hokkaido!

And we didn’t call it a night right away, we went to explore around the Hakodate train station. It had a nice shopping area, but it was kind of late so a lot of the things were already closed. Here s a tour of our room in the Tokyu stay hotel.

Hey, it s the third day of Japan trip. We re here getting coffee. Komeda Coffee. Because it s the only one open right now it s 07:00 o’clock. No better way to start the day then with some coffee and toast. We headed off to the Hakodate  station,

Passed through the morning market but we couldn’t go without first getting another melon and grapes for the road. Thank you so much for watching! Hakodate was a roller coaster of emotions. It was a full of beautiful sights, delicious food, and an enchanting ropeway. I highly recommend it if you ever come to Hokkaido.
