SUPER ULTRA PANKS GAIJIN CYCLING NATION EP #8

This is episode 8 of our Japan bike tour on October 2023.

After having a free breakfast, we headed straight towards kawaguchi-ko a lakeside town in Yamanashi prefecture where you can see mt. Fuji clearly.
It was all uphill starting from our motel until we reached the final tunnel that leads to a great view of mount fuji.
We stopped by an Asama temple just right after we reach kawaguchi-ko. We tried Amazake from a small cafe.
Amazake is a sweet drink made from fermented rice that is best served chilled.
It was a little expensive but worth trying for the experience.
Finally we reached Kawaguchi-ko where we had lunch. Lots of people including tourists from other countries were gathered in Oishi Park,
so we decided to find a better spot where we can take photos of mount Fuji.
We were able to cut through all the traffic and people thanks to our bikes.
