It to live stream I’m so happy that you’re here so so happy and Philip is in Brussels by the way just tell tell me where you’re from go wander down Ander making it making it to the streams very often I I love it thanks so much man

With no life hello to you all from Sweden hey ninja Nick hey Nick how you doing um isk hello from New York I’m guessing or new yeah New York I guess um and we are very very quickly getting to to to all the all the hells so I do like to start

Off with with the questions as soon as possible really um and I’m going to go back if I if I do for whatever reason miss your question and maybe it’s because I’m going to answer it later or maybe it’s because I haven’t seen it and um hopefully you could just retype it

Just don’t don’t you know like retype it too often and I will um I will get to your questions ASAP so leave your questions at ninja monkey and I will see that you’re sending me a question so let’s see starting from the top um I’ll choose one of the questions from Twitter

Cliff dog there who says uh okay by the way I do need to fix this um for some reason the Highlight chat highlight isn’t appearing so I’m going to fix that right now okay Twitter Cliff dog says are there still grungy business man cap capsule hotels in Tokyo or have most of them

Been turned into trendy ones like the 9 hours and first of all yes there definitely are and um full disclosure I haven’t done a capsule Hotel a proper capsule Hotel I’ve done similar things um but there will be Tokyo is such a huge City with so many districts and so

Many areas and so many things and so many capsul hotels that you will find some some you know what you say gry ones for sure 9 hours has great uh has a great reputation is clean and um a lot of people love it so it all depends on what you’re looking for

Um by the way Twitter Cliff dog1 please ask some of those same questions later on I’ll get back to them I’m trying to to um to go through some of the questions other people have been writing hello going to Japan this s Saturday that’s that’s like very soon for the

Very first time ever a bit anxious twoe trip Tokyo Osaka Tokyo any last minute tips um my last minute tips really is what is making you anxious and if something if there’s something particular that makes makes you an anxious and you can potentially tackle it before you actually go to Japan

That’s probably a great thing to do for example getting from the the airport to the center if if that’s making you anxious I’ve got some videos on that if you um are worried about how to get to your hotel or the surroundings use Google Street View to get some good

Ideas of of um of where you are that will certainly help you Miss J M M is here your videos have been a huge help really appreciate the up toate content thank you um AIA my aim is to make you a more confident um traveler really so that you

Enjoy Japan before you even get to Japan if that makes any sense and um this last video that I’ve put out which is a Tokyo planning how to plan your trip to Tokyo um it’s not meant to be an itinerary I don’t want to give you a specific

Itinery I’ll probably do my my itinery um Tokyo video at some point but I just want to give you the tools so that you can sort of like create your own um tailor made itinery because ultimately everyone is so different and everyone has has their their wants their needs

The things that they like and um not Everyone likes the same things ultimately so I don’t really think that itineraries as such are are a one fit for all um sort of thing so that’s why I’ve made this this guide so that you can sort of get your top three top four

Top five things you know rank them figure out what you’re interested in you know if you’re just interested in art galleries those are all going to be in the list if you’re just interested in like like indoor amusement parks then that’s going to be your top of the list

Everybody’s Acy will be different but I’m glad that my videos are helping um oh and hello from Portugal cool love the channel very helpful thank you I appreciate that um and wow thank you so much Twitter Cliff Dogo one what is the best way to get to the ISU

Islands like um osim Oshima hold on a minute let me just add let me just add you to the list Twitter Twitter Twitter Cliff dog o1 oh so that’s a difficult question I probably need to research that because although I do travel to Japan and I and

I have obviously done so much there are some islands that belong to Tokyo which have um which usually have fairies that go to them which is what I’m guess what I’m guessing you are referring to so um my suggestion is probably to check out the the what fairies go there um it’s

Not a place that I’ve been to although maybe after this specific trip when I go to um when I finish all of my trips all of my my my prefectures my next thing is going to be to try to do the islands so I don’t know what Google says to be

Honest I don’t know the answer to that question I’m very sorry but um there surely will be some fairies that go to Oshima Island and um probably they would leave from um from I don’t know Kawasaki I’m looking here some go from Tokyo Tokyo

Bay so you have to do a little bit of research which I will have would have to do but it’s obviously something that you’re interested in and maybe other people are in also um Nathan here also from the UK awesome thanks thank thank you um United States California traveling to Japan

November for 2 weeks you know what I think it’s great that you can actually um get a head start I know that November is still a few months away but the the the better planned that you are the more prepared that you are the better it’s going to be

Ultimately and Bo pigeon is in north Texas Lanny hey Lanny how you doing hello Nathan hello chat hello from burlin Germany awesome thanks for watching from Berlin um Mike V your videos is helping me prepare for my upcoming trip to Tokyo thank you for the content and info yeah I mean I’m going

To be totally honest the reason why why my videos hopefully come across very well is because I do a lot of research and also um I I make those videos on my experience you know from my point of view as a tourist and I think there’s a

Lot of people that do travel to Japan but they tend to or a lot of people that live in Japan that make this similar sort of content but it’s always a different angle when you you’re the one that’s doing the traveling as a tourist so hopefully that

Come across that comes across in my in my videos the fact that I am a tourist and I try to give the tourist angle and try to point out the things that I think are are interesting um now when I do a video about a specific topic I spend

Hours and hours and hours researching I spend hours putting a script together making try to make it as clear and easy to understand as I can possibly make it um so that’s why when when when there’s a question about an island that I’ve never not not been to or I haven’t

Really researched for myself um I it’s something that I know that in the future I will probably address so hopefully I’ll do it by the time you need it elb Paso Texas awesome Nick parcel don’t forget to like yes please guys please like the video I

Keep on forgetting this and by the way um in a in at some point for the for the video I’m going to um add a link and hopefully you can help me if you don’t mind but my nephew who’s 16 is doing a school project on Japanese foods

And it needs people to to fill in a form like um about Japanese Foods hopefully you don’t mind I’ll add I I’ll put the link in very soon a Google Google forms thingy and hopefully if you have time you can just maybe fill it in while you’re listening to

Me okay I have a few days to split between um Kyoto and Osaka Tor between spending two days in each location or using Osaka as a base for the 4 days and doing day trips into Kyoto okay I’m going to give you an easy um fix for

This where would you where would I use as a base depends on where I’ve come from previous so if you’re traveling from a rural area and you’re going to be going and um going to do Kyoto and Osaka then yes Osaka will be great however if you’re coming from Tokyo who which is

Already like a a mega City and you want to travel and explore Kyoto and Osaka then I would suggest you stay in Kyoto because Kyoto is so different to Osaka and that is my per my personal um preference just for that reason you’ll be doing Tokyo Osaka Mega City Mega City

If that makes any sense or you could do Tokyo Kyoto Mega city city that’s quite different um has a different vibe has a different feel and from there it’s very easy to to um to do I personally wouldn’t wouldn’t um move between two the two I wouldn’t what I mean is I

Wouldn’t personally have two hotels I would choose one and I would stick to that one and do the day trips from from the one I hope that gives you some clarity and and help maybe some people in the comments will be able to to um to add to

That is it difficult to get Sumo tickets are they expensive um do they sell out fast um I’m full disclosure I’m not really somebody who’s very interested in Sumo however I do know that Sumo is very seasonal and not just seasonal but it’s also Regional so my understanding of

Sumo is that Sumo happens at different times of the year at different parts of Japan so you’d sort of have to investigate and figure out whether Sumo is happening um rather than than you know expect to be in Tokyo and see Sumo because that Sumo is can be seasonal so

And in terms of um expensive I’m guessing they are and I’m just going to guess that they will sell out fast or at least it will be difficult to get the tickets um maybe somebody can can can help there leaving for Japan in 2 days wow going for two weeks your channel has

Helped a lot thanks go thank you so much I’m glad that I can I can help you yeah guys don’t forget to like oh by the way this is the confetti for the Super Chat earlier on um o and I wrote Twitter wrong Twitter Twitter Twitter there we go

Twitter thanks so much I’ll be giving out um some free um memberships I have five left this month so I’ll be giving them out soon during the stream any advice for beating the crowds and heat when visiting Tokyo around around the time of mountain day um well there’s various way there’s various

Um I don’t even know what mountain day Japan is um okay August all right um there’s various ways of heat of beating the Heat and I must say that I’ve been traveling to Japan every single summer for the last 10 years apart from the co years and um you first

Of all you can’t really escape the Heat and the humidity there’s a few things that I would suggest and that is try to do the indoor things um during during the peak of the day try to do the indoor things in the during you know the the

Heat of the summer if you can air condition things plan around that um beating the heat basically you can’t it’s a reality you can’t unless you’re going to stick indoors alternatively you could do like a although if it’s a public holiday then it might be difficult but you could

Do a day trip um or a night way in in the in the north of of Japan especially with a shin kanton it’s so easy you know three three and a half hours on the shinkansen and you’ll be in the north of Japan where it still will be hot but you

Just won’t have the humidity well Sak are super close they are they are um from Utah I’m going to Tokyo Japan in July and wanted to know if there was any tips for me if it is my first time traveling I mean this is a it’s like asking me an impossible

Question because my whole channel is about tips so maybe my tip is watch my videos especially a playlist that I have which is called Japan starter kits I think it’s called the playlist um I have all sorts of all the important guides like how to prepare for a Tokyo how to

How to plan your Tokyo trip um how to beat the crowds how you know the less visited Tokyo areas and how to get from Hana into into to Tokyo they’re all there so you could basically binge that um that um playlist and hopefully a lot of information and a lot of um of

Clarity will come from it going in a month is it better to research restaurants and book them in advance or just do walk-ins you know what seriously I don’t think you need to research anything unless you have a very very very very specific restaurant that

You want to go to like a mitan star restaurant or restaurant that you’ve heard of um especially in a city like Tokyo where literally there are this a restaurant every every five doors that seems to be a restaurant above you below you on either side of you um I mean I

Don’t I no longer research I I’ve done it in the past and I understand why people might do it but I don’t personally um research any any restaurants anymore I think part of the fun is um is finding a restaurant or finding a place to eat especially

Locally and the only thing that I would say about that is um rather than than sort of like like find a restaurant to eat at at the time that you want to eat and I mentioned this in my last video for group for for big groups of people

And it the same for for smaller groups of people if you’re in an area you know start start sort of scouting out places that that potentially might make for good for good um places to eat and if you want to then on the day you know if

It’s 10:30 in the morning and you know you want to eat at 1 and you’ve seen a place that looks pretty pretty nice you could always pop in and ask if you can if you can reserve um sometimes that will help and the last case scenario

Very very last case scenario is head to like a department store um usually department stores or or big buildings with with with stores Etc will have a food court and that’s usually a a quick easy cheat way of finding food B because you’ll have a a literally like a chart

Or a menu of all the restaurants with with a floor guide which will you will basically be able to look at the at the chart the floor guide you’ll be able to decide what you want to eat especially when you’re with a group you know like

There’s so many things um and it will just make your life so much easier I result to that very often some sometimes you know when you’re when you’re when you’re traveling when you’re sightseeing when you you have you’re on a little bit of a of of a time limit um you don’t

Want to be walking around either like like a crazy person looking for food you that that could take too long so sometimes I do that sometimes I do actually go to these like department stores and and find places to eat hey I don’t know about Visa

Approvals that’s a that is a um a bank question I can’t answer sorry have you been to sumida aquarium and what did you think about it I have not been to sumida aquarium so sorry about that I’ve been to um two or three aquariums but not that one flying into

Hanada and landing around 9:30 p.m. do you think I’ll make the trains on time before they stop running yes I think you should be fine 9:30 p.m. sounds like a good time like a good amount of time to sort out sort yourself out um so yeah yay Chand made a live stream thanks

For being here are there any Festival events to go to during the end of October start of November I’ll be in Tokyo the last week of October and Osaka the first week of November I really don’t know sorry jay because there are so many festivals and so many things

Going on that the best thing to do is just do a search for for um festivals if you do get around around that time actually there are there are some like um like Autumn um like viewing festivals around Mount Fuji which when I went to Mount Fuji around that time actually

This year Well 2023 um I knew that they were happening I just didn’t make make them um also I have another friend Landing in Narita at 12:00 a.m. but I’m Landing Way earlier what should I do to help him out how can you help him out I

Mean you I don’t know what you want to do to help as in wait around or return I I would just tell him to meet at a at a at an easy convenient spot where you can both meet and if you AR arrive earlier then you know like depending on the

Airport and depending on where you’re going to be based if you’re going to be based your hotel is going to be be based in an area why don’t why not just tell him meet meet your friend in the station or at the hotel near where you stay a

Useful video might be navigating haneda and or canai airports where is the Jr office where does one catch a train from the airport where is a good place to grab a bite to eat yeah John thank you I do have a a um haneda transport guide

But um yeah I guess that that would be a useful video um which might might happen in the future um I have a Saker card linked to my smart XEX app I might able to buy a ticket a few minutes before the shanton train departs um I don’t know what the

Limit is but I do know that there is a limit there is a time limit um before you can actually purchase a shinen um train ticket I’m not sure if it’s 15 minutes I’m I I’m not very sure but I know that there is a limit you can’t

Literally buy it a minute before or 2 minutes before I know that for sure have you used a Jr pass to use a narit Express not sure if I need a special ticket but might ask J might ask the Jr pass office to help book my first

Couple of trains um are you going to get a Jr pass do you need a Jr pass that’s that is a the first question um you might find um that you don’t need one so you mentioned observations in Tokyo any other cities that you can recommend for any observations any cities that you

Recommend for Osaka Kyoto Etc like observation decks maybe um yeah if you’re talking about observation decks then the the Koto Tower um which is just opposite um I think it’s called The Kyoto Tower and it’s literally opposite um Kyoto station it’s really the only tall building really because Kyoto is is

Doesn’t really have high highrises so even though it’s not super high it’s uh it gives you quite a good view of of the city in Kyoto and then the the in Osaka there’s a um it’s called the where did I go I forgotten the name the sky view the

The that’s that’s it the the Oma Sky building so the Oma Sky building is a pretty cool one especially because the escalators sort of like fly across from one part or the other like a like a bridge like a sky bridge is pretty cool and I recommend that

One um hi from it Japan mid May for 2 weeks if I buy a s card in Tokyo can I use it in Osaka and Hiroshima 2o y you can you can use um those icy cards pretty much inter interchangeably quite easily so so really easy um um somebody’s tried to answer your

Question there it’s there is a specific time and it isn’t a few minutes it’s it’s actually longer than than expected so what is the best way to withdraw cash credit debit prepaid card again these are questions that are difficult for me to answer because every single um bank

Card has its own terms and conditions I have an American Express which has its own terms and conditions I have a um a Visa card with One Bank um and that has its own terms and conditions and then I have a revolute um card which is my my

International like app um currency card which has its own conditions so I tend to use the um Master Card which is on my revolute card because I find that that one’s the one that has the least charges if any charges but it has a condition that I can only withdraw a certain

Amount a certain amount every month before I am charged some kind of a commission so you it’s difficult for me to answer you’re very welcome Remy the more I go to Japan the harder it is to Define what counts as Japanese food very true yeah okay let’s um you want to help

My nephew out I’m going to quickly put this link that my nephew sent me um before I forget and you can just very very quickly um let me get it you don’t have to put your email address or anything you just need to to um here it

Is all right that’s my NE my nephew’s link is there I’ll be going to Japan for the first time in 33 days when you start counting down like 33 days it means you’re excited going to Tokyo Osaka Kyoto and Hiroshima over November December for a Christmas trip nice very very

Nice it would be great and I plan to go to saer this year should I go in May or November um I would go in November if I had to choose between both um I would probably go in November November you’d get hopefully you’d also get some some of those um autumn

Colors but at the same time May is a little bit lower in terms of um crowds it’s difficult but I would probably go for the November what would you guys do um which one do I like better the Narita NEX or the the casay of Skyliner

Um the Skyliner but to be honest it just it gets me into Tokyo doesn’t really matter hey Jennifer how you doing thanks for being here when you use a g pass do you have to make reservations for each trip can you just arrive at the station

And grab a train with either the Jr pass or the Sher card SP the problem okay missfit cat that’s a good question if you do decide to use the Jr pass and I and I stress and I can’t stress this enough please do your calculations please double check to see if the Jr

Pass is worth it for you because right now the way that the J pass is the pricing of the Jr pass pretty much means that you have to use it for like shin Canon um trips every other day if you know if you want to get the most out of

It and know some people say that you can book hotels blah blah blah but I haven’t been able to make it work um unless it say it’s a regional pass then maybe those are a little bit more affordable when it comes to using the Jr pass there’s two things that you need to

Think about number one if it’s a uh just a a a shinen that has non reserve seating then you can pretty much arrive at the platform and board the train with a Jr pass without any without any issues without have needing an extra ticket nothing like that if it’s a limited

Express train or if it’s a shinkansen that only has reserve seating and this might also happen throughout um weekends and some specific um like holiday Times Jr has recently introduced a a new system where at peak times like specific um calendar days and um specific holidays um they require you to have a

Reserve seat then you would need to to reserve your seats there you go Lanny is already on the ball there with you thanks so much Dave for real immunizations no longer needed be there in three weeks no um first of all Dave let me just add

Your name to the list of and let me just confetti and thank you um so Dave says uh Dave for real again if you are coming from North America Europe like the average uh person um you will not need any any vaccinations Etc but if you’re coming from certain Asian countries

Um then you might need some imun some some vaccinations but at the moment you don’t need any any covid or or anything like that at all so ad thanks for that all right Harold has a really good question and it’s um about luggage forwarding he’ll be traveling for 3 and

A half weeks and have a question about baggage forwarding from hotel to hotel is it really better than taking on the train or just something for convenience um I would say it is better but it’s also for convenience it all depends on your on your trip really and it depends

Where you where you’re going for example I would suggest that you do luggage forwarding especially if you’re traveling between Tokyo and Kyoto because between Tokyo and Kyoto that train is very very busy and you are required if you have big luggage to have a spe a special um luggage reserved seat

So that’s just an extra hassle to have to to get that one also you will have to be um lagging around with the luggage from A to B so why not just send your luggage forward from from your hotel to the next hotel and not have the hassle

Or or the stress of U of carrying it with you there are some trains that um that that basically don’t have that where you where you can just pop in with a with a train and not need to do it I personally would say that it all depends

On the route and it depends on on um on how busy the route is going to Osaka for a week in August is there any easy way to figure out the train system going to Nara and Koba yeah just use Google Maps um seriously just use Google Maps Maps and put your your

Osaka station um and put Nara for example or Kobe and um you can even put the date that you’re going departing at the time and you’ll get all the options it is really really easy and they it is quite accurate lots of great food everywhere absolutely which Jr pass website do um

Calculator do I recommend they they all do the same job so just search for Jr pass calculator and they all pretty much do the same job um can I hop off a train mid Journey then rejoin at the same station or would I need to book two tickets for two

Journeys for example a ticket from Tokyo to Kyoto but I get off halfway you’d need two different tickets um for that hey Logan ran how you doing actually I have a Coke Zero here everyone um and I’m going to I’m going to Cai to everyone

I was thirsty and I also have a too banana at the already if you had only if you only had one free day in Osaka what would you do the other day is for Universal Studios I understand um what would I do I think dendon town is pretty cool I think I

Walk around the um the castle is is quite nice um and dooni um area in fact Kelly I have a video uh a video guide to Osaka which I did with my friend who actually is a local osakan if that’s even a word so um check out that video cuz that guy

Will give you an idea of the things that might interest you and you know what you could probably do all of those things in one day but it will be a little bit rushed so maybe you choose you know like I say in my latest um guide four or five

Things from that guide would probably give you a perfect perfect um trip thanks Philipe for for um for clarifying the smart the smart EX app um yeah Lantern festivals there are there there’s always going to be festivals just obviously off the top of my head I’d have to research and I don’t

Want to I would be able to give you an answer when it comes to specific things like that but I I don’t I’m not a walking calendar so it’s very difficult we are flying into Hana and transferring to a domestic flight to Osaka in your experience did it take a

Long time to get through Immigration and Customs I’m worried I won’t make it in 3 hours I think you should be fine in 3 hours the only thing that you need to remember is that you need to get your luggage and when you transfer from International to domestic you need to

Get your luggage that’s the only thing that could take long um I mean my suggestion really is stuck and this is my my recommendation for when I’m traveling in in Japan and and I have to do a similar thing to do my recommendation will be to if you’re so

Worried and you have the option to choose your seat or maybe pay for your seat to be close to the exit of the of the of the airplane then um that would save you some time if you if you’re quite close to to if you’re one of the

First ones to be able to leave the plane then you can get through through um through immigration pretty quickly just reading some of your questions remember to at ninja monkey guy to get my attention and that way I’ll I’ll I’ll see it’s a question you’re probably going to get the Jr

Tokyo wide pass yeah that’s that’s a good pass to use in that area um let’s see thanks thank you just trying to get everything ready and your videos will help me a lot you’re very welcome cool Francis says I have 16 days coming in Japan planning to split between tokok

Kyoda or Sakara possibly kazawa do it if you can it’ll be worth it how many days would you recommend split between those places again it’s very difficult you have 16 days so you know Tokyo in itself you could spend 16 days in Tokyo you could spend 16 days in Kyoto it’s it’s

It is what it is now what would I suggest I suggest that you do a uh I’m guessing you’re starting in Tokyo and that you’re ending in Tokyo my suggestion would be to to maybe do three days in Tokyo at the beginning maybe three or four days

In Tokyo at the end so that’s a whole week really or maybe 3 days and 3 days or 3 days and two days but have a have a sandwich and then split up um I would probably it’s very difficult you probably want to do at least two days in

Each or two nights in each if you can if you can help it or else it will be a little bit of a of a rash trip too government building is a magnificant um observation deck it’s free and the shop in it is great yes I I

Mentioned it in my latest video actually so um let’s see all trains up to 4 minutes before the train departure time there you go thank you Christopher Arie hi Nathaniel my name is Nathan but you can call me Nathaniel if you want hey Julian thank you for the live

Stream they are great and they really help us thanks thank thank you so much for the super chat um I’ll very quickly thank you I’m just going to add you to the list um Julie M yeah I think that uh a live stream I wish I would have had somebody like

Myself when I first travel to Japan answering some of the questions you know I might not be able to answer all of them but um hopefully I can answer most of them let’s see I was staying in aab area and wanted to go to Disneyland and I was staying

For 10 days so I wait until the middle of the trip or towards the end or start of my trip again it all depends on on your preference really me personally I would either put it put it probably between the middle and the end I probably wouldn’t put it at the start me

Personally um what do I recommend for people whose phone cannot use eim traveling from Tokyo to Kyoto Nara and Osaka with my fiance will be better to get two SIM cards or one portable portable Wi-Fi um you’re probably going to if you’re going to be with your fiance you’re probably

Going to be with with her quite a lot probably all the time so you could get a pocket Wi-Fi and and actually guys I have there you go a Sakura mobile um pocket Wi-Fi link there that I’ve just put it’s a it’s a it’s you could use that well that that that there

For for um any pocket Wi-Fi it will help the channel and also for those of you who are like wanting to buy tickets to the Sky Tree or Disney for example you’ve been talking about um I also have a cluke um affiliate link it just helps the channel you’re going to purchase the

Tickets anyway way if you’re going to go to these places right so you might you know might as well support the channel it’s the same price or maybe even cheaper actually so there you go pause the video and take a photo I’m visiting Japan mid-march is it

Going to be crowded yes but it also depends on what part of of Japan you’re going to be at to be honest it’s not um an easy answer to to answer an easy qu question to answer because if you’re going to be in in Kyoto and in in Tokyo

Pretty much just before or at the time of Sakura season then it’s going to be busy but it’s not the end of the world either you know some people worry too much just be prepared November is definitely more comfortable than than me probably um hello I’m from the

Netherlands is it rare that restaurant that a restaurant has wagu beef I want to try it at least once I was Bing if you can get it easily yes you can get it very very easily and don’t forget that um that there are lots of different

Types of wagu um in Japan like Kobe is one type of wagu hia I guess is another type of wagu um and you’ll find many many locations with with with wagu and in fact even when you go to like a Yakiniku place which is like a barbecue

Place You’ probably be able to to choose from the different um cuts of meat and for sure there will be wagu on the menu Coca-Cola zero everyone who’s a chat chat ninja um show me your Coke Zero emojis in fact guys I am going to um gift some some memberships to

You if I connect to the right account I will um all right let’s do this going to gift let’s do this sorry about that going to give going to gift some can I gift some let’s gift some membership gifting um gift fre of charge you have five memberships left to gift this month

So gifting now I have just gifted five memberships to man with no life rammen Christopher Mo clap up and Lanny yay awesome I’m happy I think it’s a great little um little thing to be able to gift um memberships to people very excited about that

O um thank you very much there um aleris Veris let me just add your name aleris alious varus alious varus thank you so much nervous about Japan complex Transportation seriously don’t be don’t be nervous don’t be nervous havea Andrea pass um but stations are big and

Confusing will St help in English yes um that yeah the answer is yes they will try to help that is probably my best answer um and in terms of being nervous specifically in Tokyo my suggestion at the very very start if you’re nervous is to just stick to the yamano line because

The yamano line is a circle line which basically if for whatever reason something goes wrong it will Circle back to where it starts so so and it runs in in in in in two directions so you can easily you know if you miss a stop you

Can just go back and um and and um get back to where you wanted to go so that’s the first thing um and then when it when it comes to exits from the station if you do plan in advance if you do have um pocket Wi-Fi or an eim you can use

Google Maps and Google Maps will even tell you what direct what um exit you need to to to to use to exit the station once you’ve done it the first the first day the first two days you’ll be a pro you you’ll see and thanks so much aleris hey where are

We have I missed any any questions I probably have but when does school season end and is there an exact date I can only find Late July yeah there isn’t an exact date but that’s pretty much I would say that within at some point in July the schools

Start to end um trying to avoid going to University just during summer break I understand um you know what a really good um indicator is in universe Studio’s website when you or or even in CL for example when you look at the dates the prices start going up when when it’s um

The the busy period so that will give you an idea of when it is thanks for your videos it really helps me plan my trip for next month awesome arriving at Narita and was wondering if passo is that different from speaker card no difference other than the design and the

Only main difference between the two is that if you do have a a a uh there is though that if you if you end your trip in somewhere away from Tokyo you won’t be able to get your money back that’s the only difference but that’s not going

To be a problem really because you’re going to be spending all the money it come on who on Earth who on earth goes to Japan and has extra money left over nobody nobody nobody nobody um is now Shima Island worth it as a day trip from kurashiki I’m going I’m

Staying three nights in kurashiki Kur kurashiki is lovely and now Shima has a great reputation so if you can do it why not do it it all depends on what your interests what your interests are basically um so yeah if you’re interested in arts and that kind of thing then do it for

Sure are public rest restrooms readily available throughout Tokyo you know what Jr Jr Jr um I want to answer that question because I think it’s a very important question I don’t know where where I put it is it not coming out there um I want to answer that question I thing it is

Actually a very important question the answer and I I have a dad who who has some some some um toilet problems and I’d love for my parents to be able to come to to Japan and I’m always on the lookout thinking you know if my dad was

Here would he be able to go to the toilet and the reality is that that they are readily available and maybe this is definitely a good video that I could do in the future um they are readily available but you you need to know where to where to look for example um train

Stations will all have toilets multiple toilets in fact de department stores will have to will have toilets um parks are great places all the Parks have toilets um other than the parks if you’re really desperate you could even go into a Pachinko parlor which will

Have a which will have a toilet um big sort of like um donkey Hotes will have toilets y Bashi will have toilets um what else will have toilets that I’ve seen um along the way you’ll actually see some actual public toilet sort of like buildings um in many places so

There are many many options for toilets I can’t believe I’m saying the word toilet so many times but there will be many options for you to be able to go to the toilet how but like I said it is one of those things where you just need to

Know where to look and once you know where to look you’ll find them but it’s a very important question so thanks for for asking that question toada is in the house na N I don’t know what that says how much did you get with eims and

Pocket Wi-Fi um it depends on what you what you order you can you can get different different pack es with for different um amounts basically so just try to figure out what you’re going to use aleris you’re very welcome um I heard there’s no soap at public restrooms is that true you know

What generally I think that there is soap in public restrooms most of the time um the one thing that the definitely isn’t is um many many restrooms don’t have towels or hand dryers that is the main the main issue I mean there probably will be some without soap but that happens here

Also can confirm Google Maps is a godsend yeah when once you sort of like crack the code of Google Maps you are in for a treat roaming will be very expensive probably check with your with your um with your provider obviously my Google Maps use the the

Used to point the wrong direction just the opposite until I it picks up GPS so going back and forward all the time um you know what I would suggest when it comes to that um Sandro what I would suggest when it comes to Google Google Maps and wrong wrong directions is I

Don’t think obviously you would need to what I’m trying to say is don’t rely on Google Maps specifically for for like spec very very very very specific directions but rely on Google Maps to get you more or less to the general area and then use your common sense and for

Example I tend to learn how to get to my to the to the to the station that’s closest to my hotel so that I don’t have to put input that into Google Maps all the time because why would I need to know my my the location why would I know

Why would I need to know directions from my hotel to to somewhere else in Tokyo via the station that I already know how to get to so instead what I usually do is I set the station that I already know how to get to as the starting point

Which takes away all of that added you know like Google Maps potentially getting anything wrong and from start starting point is the station that I already know how to get to and if I notice that the the directions are too long or there’s too many steps then I

Usually put from the station that I already know how to get to to the station that I want to get to and then I would start another set of um of directions from that station once I get there I don’t know that makes any sense but hey clut you’re welcome you’re welcome you’re

Welcome um if a few hundred Yen left in the I card use it at a shop vending machine at the airport on your way home exactly this is another really difficult question for me to answer because I’m not in the states I’m in Europe and also

Even within Europe um I know I have friends that that live in the UK and they get their their Yen sent um online sent to their home because it’s the best exchange rate that they can get I’ve sort of figured out how to nearly go cashless

To Japan just from my experience um of going to Japan so many times so first of all I only ever have 10,000 Yen or maybe 20,000 yen um in cash that’s what I use what that’s what I take to go to Japan first of all second of all all over my

Hotels I pay by credit card so that’s no problem I don’t need cash for that I just pay by credit card usually because I’ve already booked by via booking.com um finally um when it comes to if I do need to take cash out I take cash out

From the ATM um at 71s as and as I need to usually I take out 20 or 40,000 Yen at at at at a time when I need it that will last me a very very long time because the final Point thanks to the fact that I can actually use sua on my

IPhone it means that I can top up my sua card with my credit card with my my my my um my for example my revolute or whatever and then TDA I never need to use cash because I don’t need cash to to to put any any um funding into my into

My Saker I literally just use my bank card so I hardly use um cash nowadays in in Japan hoping to go to gibl park in Nagoya um but tickets not easy to come by I hear oh that they go on sale two months ahead on the 10th and that’s

Right that’s the the only information I can give you is that um basically they go on sale two months before and that is the the tickets for the whole other the park I’m potentially going to go to to to that Park too so I’ll May June July I

Probably have to start looking in May for the tickets because I’ll be there in July there you go get your yens at 711 ATMs in Japan they have much better rates than Airport Exchange officers yeah I mean it’s all a balance because Philip is right but at the same

Time um sometimes your bank will have a certain limit to how much you can take out before there’s a fee um so yeah cominis also have toilets yeah there you go L it’s true I forgot about that one I I go to comini toilets all the time

So I’m heading to Japan at the start of golden week I didn’t plan for it it was um when I could vacation that’s fine I was planning to visit Tokyo saporo Kyoto Osaka Kobe and um Okinawa where should I go wait a minute you want to plan you

Want to visit all of those or do you want to visit just one of those clear up the question I’m not very sure what you you mean by that I would say go to all of them Um public restrooms in Tokyo I disagree 150% with you are amongst some of the cleanest that I I have ever been to in any of the countries that I visited throughout the world including the United Kingdom the United States of America um throughout Europe um Africa um other Asian countries they are

Clean compare in comparison toada I don’t know what public restrooms you’re going to you need to visit other areas in Japan it seems what are some of the best castles to visit I could if if I could I would love to visit them all but I don’t think

That’s an option okay thank you for that question I love that question um what are some castles that I would recommend I personally love Matsumoto Castle I think Matsumoto Castle um is a great Castle it’s black it’s different it makes for a great day trip from Tokyo

All night away um potentially going via Nagano so you can sort of do Nagano and and um matumoto at the same time that’s a great Castle really easy to get to or Castle is nice it’s pretty it’s very very very easy to get to from from Tokyo

Very easy to get to um but the only thing is that it’s like a reconstruction so the inside of the of the castle is very much like a museum like a modern building while Matsumoto Castle is the original Castle you’re walking on the the wooden um floor and it’s kind of

Epic obviously this HEI Castle um if you’re going to be near Kyoto Osaka then Himi on the way to to um Hiroshima then Himi would be a good um option too it’s one of the grandest um castles when it comes to castles in Japan there’s so many personally I like the small ones

Like Ki Castle in um shikaku is one of my favorite castles it’s tiny I just like it cuz it’s small other for you need to walk with your passwort yes shimoni you do um apart from the fact that it’s a rule um as a foreigner you need to have

Identification um apart from that if for whatever reason you are stopped and you don’t have your passport it’s just going to ruin your day because it’s going to end you’re going to end up having to be ex escorted to your hotel room to get your passport and then probably be

Questioned in the police in in the police office so um you know just carry it with you just in case plus you need it for taxfree so Cai let’s see just reading reading through the through your questions to see hi people greetings from Madrid if it’s

Useful to all of you the three times I went to Japan apart from Google Maps I use maps with me you download map areas and you can use it offline um Serio I’ve used I’ve used the app before in the past um I don’t think it’s anywhere close to to Google Maps Google

Maps is constantly being being updated with point of in point points of interest Etc and you can even download Google Maps off offline maps if you want to which basically does the same thing you can actually offline um download but I know that there are lots of options out

There how early can you book hotels especially for popular festivals that’s a very good question and it’s very true that around popular um festivals you’re going to need to book really going to need to book those um those tickets um those what do you call it um bookings

For your hotels I can’t even talk anymore but um usually about six months before is when when the hotel rooms become available usually between six months I would say four months maybe any sooner than that and you might actually find that those hotel rooms are no not not actually

Available yet they haven’t been released how to be cashless in Japan would be a great standal on video yes maybe I’m pretty much very very much nearly cashless nearly with with sua with a lot of places um you know like um accepting Suka then I can be very very

Much cashless but I know that there are some specific um situations where I need cash it is what it is even at some vending machines that don’t accept swea I need cash so it kind of sucks it is what it is um let’s see reading is November good time to

Visit Tokyo 3 weeks vacation yes definitely November will be great for sure where to go during golden week I think I think golden week is a is a good place a good time to stick to one region that’s close to where you’re staying um so maybe even staying in Tokyo would

Wouldn’t be the worst time during golden week just be aware that certain things would close potentially during golden week but um but generally if I to stick to um to a place or deciding what I was going to be doing during golden week then I would try to fit as much of the

Of the the places that don’t necessarily require you to to um to to have tickets um during golden week I love castles though how do we know what restaurants and cafes require reservation h how do you know well usually actually it’s quite easy to know because usually at the front of the

Hotel or hotel at the front of the restaurant sorry there will be a sign board or a or a place where you have to write your name that will be a good indicator of you needing to reserve hello from Portugal me and my girlfriend are going for the first time

In the second half of April and we’re visiting Tokyo Kyoto Hiroshima and Osaka what are some restaurants you recommend for again my recommendation is really for you to explore and find some restaurants there are some really easy ones um that I would I would say that are like easy

Restaurants like um tapen baby it’s a chain of okonak and it’s a chain though um there’s some really easy chains but I’m guessing you’re specifically asking about restaurants if you go to the Discord if you join the Discord there’s actually a Channel with a map of restaurants that’s um generated by

Myself and by other viewers which recommend restaurants so that would probably be a good one for you hey Lori how you doing thanks for being here I will be noing hour for two weeks nice I’m going to be noin hour also but only for a few days in the summer

Um would you recommend buying shinkansen tickets from cluk um would these need to be collected or show purchase of tickets on app um I don’t know I don’t think um cluk I think CL sells Jr passes like Regional passes and um like the full Jr pass but not individual tickets and I

Believe that the the the the great thing about the CL website is that they have have very very clear instructions on whether the it will be a digital voucher or whether it will be a um like a paper voucher exchange voucher so if you go onto the website it will actually tell

You very clearly by the way if you do go onto the website use my affiliate link www. ninjas sar.com last week of March my flight lands Tokyo at 5:30 a.m. but my hotel check in in shuku it’s 3 p.m. very common do you have any recommendations what to do for

The early morning once we wait 9 hours for checkin yeah definitely um you arrive at 5:30 you probably won’t be in central um Tokyo until you know 6:30 maybe even 7 in the morning in between getting your luggage going to immigration Etc and getting actually getting into Tokyo you probably get

There by 7 I’d say um and my recommendation really is to head straight to your hotel even though I know that you can’t get check in until 3:00 p.m. go straight into your hotel and drop off your baggage and your luggage there um and then explore the

Area a lot of coffee probably a lot of coffee but um yeah drop off your stuff start familiarizing yourself with with the area um that would be my main suggestion let’s see any suggestions on where to stay for a family group of for traveling to Japan

Miday to the second week of June want to visit Tokyo Kyoto and Osaka I mean where to stay specifically um different areas again it’s very very difficult I do have a video out there on where where how to choose your hotel in in Tokyo and I can tell you that right now I’m

Helping my friends who have kids plan their vacation in in Japan and they’ve been able to use booking.com let me just get comfortable they’ve been using they’ve been using booking.com to find hotels which have either family rooms which are rooms with usually two double beds um and um or rooms with uh with

Connect connecting rooms so even they found an APPA Hotel a few APPA hotels that have connecting rooms and um and some um um mat mitsui um Garden um chain H hotels that have connecting like rooms also so it’s just a matter of using those filters on booking.com to find the

Right one for you I would say can you use credit card to load up sweer card if it’s a physical sweer it’s only cash if it’s a if it’s an iPhone Saker then you can use credit card hoo tomorrow you’re flying to Tokyo let me just do a a confetti for that

Because I think that that that is a confet confetti moment there for sure confetti confetti you ever rout to Google Maps on every time um how can I book it if multiple training companies are involved online or at the counter how to get valid tickets if online bought um

Usually I know that some people are want to purchase things online for for train tickets me personally I usually purchase them from the train station usually the day before or maybe two days before just because sometimes my plans do change um I think up to the age of four

I think you don’t need to pay tickets um for the for the for the shinkansen but after a certain age they pay half book today N9 days in uh in July for Kyoto Kobe andar Kyoto will be my base nice going for my birthday on the

Dude happy birthday the same as me I was reading it I was like wait a minute that’s my birthday don’t have a lot of time due to being in Europe two weeks in April where in where in Europe are you going to be by the way and um awesome nice one so

Where you going to spend your birthday I’m going to be in Tokyo for my birthday by the way it excites me when people when I find a birthday twin does it excite you too there you go young children 1 to 5 years old up to two young children can

Travel for free um when accompanied by an adult but there’s something that you need to also know about that and that is that they are not entitled to a seat um uh a child would still need to purchase a seat if you want them to to sit down that is the only

Catch dude Jim Ross is in the house Jim has been in in Tokyo for the last week I’ve been in communication with him um and he’s been getting lost a lot and I want to read at some point hopefully if I have some time I want to read some

One of his one of his messages that he sent me it was interesting watching a play at Tokyo that doesn’t usually get much snow deal with 10 cm of the white stuff I can imagine I can very much imagine did you get lost though um I reserve my sh Canon tickets on CL

And it was simple matter of scanning the QR code at the ticket machine really like the actual like ticket from one location to the next cuz if that’s the case then that is epic cuz I’ll be using like my my own affiliate link all the time favorite less un known shrines in

Kyoto let me think favorite less and known shrines in kto you know what I I’ve I’ve visited many shrines in Kyoto that I don’t know the names of because that’s that’s what happens when they’re when they’re lesser known right you sort of like stumble stumble upon them and

You don’t know the names of of them which is the beauty of it so my recommendation really is just walk around get lost and find some of those lesser known shrines they’re all over the place seriously Airbnb versus apartment hotels um I don’t usually do Airbnb but they’re pretty much the same thing

Aren’t they is it okay to visit Osaka and Tokyo in December it’s okay to visit Osaka and this and um Tokyo any time of the year really I would say for sure um toada has a has a has a nice recommendation Hotel visho Visio so yeah nice I’ve not flown into

Nagoya um I have not flown into Nya I’ve only flown into Hana Narita um the Kanai one and then I flew into the one in saboro but it was via Tokyo anyway so it was like a transfer Sam lockers only work with IC card I I meet another tourist at Osaka

And he had Nan and wasn’t able to use a locker there interesting that’s very interesting wow I think you’ve mentioned the climing man Fuji in your videos is it very physically demanding clim or can an average fit person do it also was it worth it in your opinion um Ricardo I

Would say that a an average fit person could do it but I would definitely you know recommend doing a little bit of training the hardest part was coming down really I would say it was very very hard on my legs especially you know when you’re tired from from the climb on the

Way down um and in terms of was it worth it I think it was worth it for me and it all depends on how much time you have traveling in in Japan if you’re only going for a week would I say you know spend a day climbing Mount Fuji and a

Day recovering from Mount Fuji probably not my cup of tea let’s see you be with your family in France and Italy cool nice nice nice nice Lanny Jim is spending a portion of each day loss let me see if I can find Jin what’s this I’ve got a

Paper who I’ve got a PayPal thank you who’s just send me a PayPal Ana thank you Ana much appreciated very very much appreciated I’m going to I’m going to um add it to the list Anessa awesome thank you and again we have thanks confetti yay

Awesome so I was just going to try and find a message that Jim Ross sent me just a little pause whilst you continue writing some some questions I’ll be here for a little bit longer answering those questions so don’t worry he said um if I can read it because at this

Time of the day my my eyesight gets appalling where is it I thought I’d let you know that I decided to go out for dinner I decided to go out for a place called Tatu in Shinjuku Tong katsu in Shinjuku I can’t read this I need my glasses I

Don’t know where the glasses are um really good reviews 20 minutes away and I don’t want to read it all because I just can’t read it I literally can’t read the small text on my phone how bad is this I can’t really I cannot read it I

Don’t know where my glasses are but basically Jim took like an hour and a half or 2 hours to get to this place that was like 20 minutes away from his house because he got lost and I will next time wear my glasses and not my contact lenses like I’m wearing now

Which are tired tired hey Fang how you doing thanks for the Emoji love just now got to Lo look log but saw fstep video yesterday what a great advice glad I found your channel thank you Peggy I’m glad that you found my channel too and that you’re here in the in the

Stream there you go in Kyoto it’s not lesser known but shimo Shrine nice thank you yes the ticket and seat reservation now I wasn’t able to pick my seat on clo but maybe I just missed that part wow I’m very impressed I didn’t know you could do that on cluk they pretty much

Can do anything right the snow day is the only day that gym hasn’t been lost how do very tall people fair in Japan do they have problems there I mean the only problems would be with maybe bumping their heads every now and then probably big bags versus two small bags

In shinkansen if it fits on the upper shelf um a longer flat bag is fine um if if it fits on on the Shelf then it’ll be fine basically and the and the the um the shelves are quite wide also Anessa thank you so much for for that I

Wasn’t expecting it so much appreciated Twitter have a good night um night um sweet Japanese dreams you’re getting ads because there are it’s set to to put ads in every now and then I’m not very sure when but it’s automatic oh that’s a really good question also thank you so much um Kelly

Let me just add you to the list I’ll add you up here Kelly Kelly how you got go I hope you can see that but Kelly what do you normally do about laundry in Japan that’s a very good question and usually what I do is I very strategically choose hotels when I’m

Traveling that that have laundry facilities the great thing about Japan is that a lot of hotels have laundry facilities some of them are even um free and now I have my preferences from traveling to Japan so many times I find that the dormy in um laundry services as

So as in La laundry area you you you get to wash your clothes for free at a dormy Inn basically so you don’t pay anything to do the washing but you have to pay for the dryer which is 100 yen for 20 minutes and usually putting 200 yen or

Two 100 yen coins does the trick for me um so what I usually do is I when I when I when I um travel for such a long amount of time 6 weeks I only pack for 10 days and every 10 days more or less I

Do laundry so that’s that’s how I handle laundry in Japan that’s a very good question I’m questioning if I should bring my drone to Japan it would be of course be nice for shooting vacation um footage but where can you fly um drone questions I know that there’s a there’s the

Official like um website first of all that I’m not 100% sure about drones I have a drone I used to take it to Japan I no longer take it to Japan just because it takes so freaking long to set up and and you know get up get out on

The sky but I know that um Japan has different um laws in terms of the weight of the Drone instead of 250 g I think it’s 200 g or maybe 150 g which means that you theoretically might need to purchase a a different um battery for it

Apart from that it needs to be registered it’s just a it’s just a hassle um do your research and see let me let us know if it’s worth it or not for our second trip to Tokyo we plan to go to the ad Museum in shimbashi do you

Have any suggestions of other activities of things to see there in shimbashi I’m not 100% sure to be honest I don’t tend to spend a lot of time in shimbashi but um if there isn’t anything to do in shimbashi you can which I’m sure there are there are plenty of other stations nearby

I’m not sure if ninj Moni can load up an image on stream but there’s physical bag measurements guides for standard um luggage types there is uh there is and I I would have to find the the photo and and and all that which I’m not going to

Do now but um Christopher you’re right there are physical um measurements images for it basically my rule would be if you can pick it up um and put it over a a locker like a a shelf thingy then then probably it belongs on the Shelf if

It’s not too big um that’s the main the main thing hey Ryan Croft thank you so much your wife loves your my videos and you do you also do thanks so much by the way everyone who’s watching now I just wanted to remind you because I’ve got this Japan Japan itan like

Whispering into my into my ear he’s one of one of my regular viewers and also a great supporter and he always says to me shout out to the second Channel Nathan shout out the second channel so I’m shouting out the second Channel now and I’m saying please check out happy guyin

Which is my second Channel and that channel is a channel where I do all my live streaming when I’m on the go in Japan I don’t tend to use this channel too much for live streaming like when I’m onon the go but I use um use happy

Gent apart from that I do like Vlogs and they’re a little bit more like less edited um videos so check that one out okay thank you um I would suggest that you do for for key parts of your trip you know for example I wouldn’t necessarily luggage

Forward my my um my luggage from Kyoto to Osaka for example but I would definitely do it from Tokyo to Kyoto or Tokyo to Osaka or Tokyo to Hiroshima that kind of thing how to stay in a net cafe if you missed last train that’s a good question

You need to register usually you need to register in them and it’s a matter of finding a manga a manga or or an internet cafe um and and registering and usually you a lot of the times you have to pay by WEA also if I remember

Right a and John B awesome info we’ll be using your click CL link as well thank you question is it possible to get a s card before traveling to Japan exchange rates are favor favorably currently um I know that there are plenty of um you know like third party

Vendors that sell sua and and pimo Etc I don’t know if I would personally um get one before I go one thing about washing machines in Japanese hotels don’t think you can load them up like a big us home machine I don’t live in the US so they they are

Very similar in size to the European ones so no problem for me oh we take a couple of hours to dry I wash more often in small batches there you go yeah yeah I can imagine yeah there’s also coin laundry that you can check out and usually um I

Stayed in one hotel and all the laundry machines were being used um and the the the lady the lady at reception pointed me to the nearest coin laundry so I did that instead kago kago is pretty cool you’re right I have a video about Cy by the way very cool

Cheaper than Hotel laundry Sam sometimes it can yeah you’re right hey just jering around hey Nathan when’s your next planning planning to be in Japan actually I’m going to be in in Japan I’m going to actually be in London on Tuesday I’m flying day after tomorrow to

London till Sunday so I’ll be in London um just chilling and hanging out with people or whatever probably eating some Japanese food in London um and I’ll be in Japan again on the I’ll leave here on the 28th of March that will be my next

Trip 20 28th of March I will be flying to to Tokyo and after that my next trip will be on the 9th of July where I will be in Japan for 6 weeks all my hotels had a laundry room with washing machines and dryer cheapest 100 yen most expensive 300 Yen there you

Go first time catching you live I’m super excited because I’ve got going for the first time this May the 15th to the 23rd how is the weather dreaming this time um possibly good possibly a little bit rainy here and there but um you mostly good mostly good mostly good I

Mean we’re talking about a a country that has very temp temperamental um like weather even in the summer it rains you know with the typhoons and and the and and all that kind of thing and the the tropical storms Etc so let’s see oh I can’t believe we are

Getting to the end of the of the questions but I I’m still have a little bit more time so if you do have any more questions please let me know um what’s what was the other channel name what is the spelling okay let me let me um Let Me Maybe share it with

You um there you go it’s the happy guyen happy gyin is my my second Channel where if you go to the live stream section you’ll see loads of live streams like from from Japan walking around um actually this week when I’m in London I might might actually stream from there from the

Happy guen some London streams um although I’m not taking any gear I’m not planning on taking any like like uh cameras I’m not planning on filming whilst I’m in London I’m planning on just chilling maybe I take this little camera that I’m using now for this live

Stream and I’ll probably take my gimbal for the for the for the walking around live streams like I do in Japan but um maybe I’ll do one or maybe two live streams um I also do this similar thing on Wednesdays from that channel happy gin but with less people because it’s a

Smaller channel so Apple wallet has a built-in speaker card option and a travel card that’s right you just add money to it via Apple pay any downside to using it um yes J not not Nota the only downside to using it is that it’s very very difficult to

To you wouldn’t really be able to to um to get your money back or credit the money that you haven’t used in theory you can it’s a little bit more complicated but that’s the main Downside I still have 19,000 yen in coins flipping heck dude that’s a lot of Coins that’s a lot of coins A7 is on the plane to Japan my man awesome how exciting is that I love hearing people that are like on the way to Japan or just about to go to Japan it’s very cool great sounds fantastic don’t think

Um I will be traveling until 2025 oh too bad all my focus is on my sock business I app for trademark on on Friday sock business tell me more maybe you will come to chba there is nothing to see maybe maybe what should suggest you when Google Maps hates

You I think you might just need a better phone I heard that there there is still fees that can happen is that true with filling the streer via the Apple wallet I forgot the video I watched um I mean you’re paying with your credit card to if there’s any handling charge it all

Depends on the card that you have I don’t have any any charges personally the exchange rate fee maybe how forbidden is it to photograph in Kyoto some streets have signs if if Dan n disturbing is okay um Sandro in theory in theory those rules are not law

Or anything like that um but you shouldn’t you you should you should abide by by the rules um there are plenty of other other streets and other places that you can take photos don’t worry Kyoto is full of beautiful wondrous um areas that you can explore

And you don’t really need to worry about about that kind of thing can you describe the rainy season in early June in Tokyo and Osaka is it terrible um rainy season I’ve I only experienced it in July which is usually the tail end of

The of the um of the rainy season and I would say that if it says it’s going to rain it’s going to rain but it doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s going to rain all the time in fact I would say that probably in the summer when you do get

The the tropical storms and the typhoon the rain is far worse um then I heard Subway is only until 11:00 p.m. in Tokyo what do you do when you miss the last train and usually Subway is about till midnight I would say probably maybe a little bit later

Depending on the on the line um and I would say just don’t lose don’t miss the train set like a gazillion alarms on your on your watch so that you don’t miss a train train and if you do then you have various options and that is either continue partying continue

Drinking until the next train at 5:30 in the morning or stay or get a taxi which is going to be expensive yay yes please just R me around please I’m really interested cha is very close to to Tokyo it’s actually where Disneyland is can I see do a lot in Tokyo with only

Three full days my other days are in Osaka Kyoto and Disney dude you’re not going to have enough days three days can you see a lot yes the answer is yes there’s too much to see in Tokyo rainy season is okay when the rain stops then it

Becomes hell on Earth I don’t understand what you mean Harold ninja monkey yesterday I bought my Universal entry tickets plus express pass for Nintendo World Etc but seeing as I’m traveling solo it may better to just use a solo Lane as rides I think that you can because you’re traveling solo and I’ve

Done this before in um Universal Studio specifically um and I still had the express pass is you can get the best of of Both Worlds it means that you’ll have the guarantee that you’re going to get on those rides that you want to get on and you also have the the advantage of

Going on the the solo raides um like Q how is the weather usually for November the 1st to say November the end trying to go carryon carry on okay only and do wash there just trying to figure out what type of things to pack I watch your

Other videos but couldn’t see this um you couldn’t see that because I don’t usually travel around that time of the year because I have other commitments and I can only travel through certain times of the year I traveled actually I did travel at the very end of

October um like Halloween period and the weather was fantastic it was really really nice but this I guess it’s just what really difficult to predict what the weather’s going to be like um I would say it would be like chitty at night but nicer during the

Day carer might be a little bit of a of a push though 10 days was way too long in Shinjuku Tokyo but you didn’t go anywhere else did you I think you just stayed in in Shinjuku right if I remember right um and I agree I stayed a

Week in Shinjuku and it was too long for me um I would have preferred to have stayed somewhere else but Shinjuku is a great area also depending what you’re looking for really but as somebody who’s pretty much done Shinjuku so many times I should have stayed somewhere else

Unless I had a specific reason to be there one we in Tokyo only covered maybe 1.5% of the yes totally totally uh my phone gets me within a couple of minutes of where I’m going then decides I need an adventure either lose a signal or just sends me in weird

Directions yeah yeah yeah I mean yes blazy how you doing um I will be on for the next a little bit more 10 minutes maybe or so and then I will be ending the stream just giving you a little bit of a heads up by the

Way we were afraid of using the trains why that’s the most silly thing ever especially in I know shinjuu station can be a bit crazy but um just like I said if you if you’re worried about the trains in Tokyo just sticking to the yamanoi line which

Is the green um line it’s so easy it just goes around in a circle round in the circle and just like for example if you want to go from from chinuku to ueno which is on the yamanote line you just get on the yamot line until you get to

Shin to weno from Shinjuku get out explore return to the station get on the yamot line and it will take you back it’s very very easy during 21 days in Japan what’s your recommendation of cities for first time going to Japan hopefully will be uh fortunate enough to go again later in

Life look you know what um I’m going to tell you exactly hold on what is my recommendation because I have a itinerary which is um a twoe itinery which I recommend there you go it’s a it say two we itinerary which I recommend that you um that you do like

In in three weeks for example so I’m going to just post it here there you go that’s a my twoe itinery I’ve just posted right now you can work on that that idea extend it and add a few places but at least you have somewhere to

Start we were in Japan last year 17th of June to the July the 4th and we were afraid of suu season but we only had three days of rain it was a very dry um through you season I have I’ve heard did everything not to do for my Japan

Trip Kelly the other great thing about yamano line is that it’s above ground so you get to see the city also yes that is you know that’s a very very good point I I don’t very often think think of but you’re 100% right but I I do mean it um

I understand people being nervous it’s very natural to be nervous um traveling in Tokyo for the very first time but definitely definitely definitely for those really nervous Travelers the yamanote line is like the foolproof um line that might not get you to exactly where you want to go but at least if you

Want to explore the city and you’re worried just stick to the yamot line S most station at line EAS to get to get on to anywhere exactly Sandro that’s exactly what I say all the time they are very they are very simple you you know but like I said you need to

Sort of like do it once and then you’ll be fine going to Tokyo in March can’t understand the public transportation at all there you go I’ve just mentioned the yam for you what is the best time to visit seni ooh early morning or late evening um good question I think late evening might

Early morning there won’t be too many people but everything will be quite shut but early evening I think that um it’s lit quite nicely so if you go later in the evening it’s quite nice to to to see the the lit up um you know sensology you lost

Confidence wow really Google Maps is really help helpful on public transport it is it is it is Jim Ross I’ll be in Japan soon it will be only it will be like halfway through your through your stay though by then hopefully you’ll be a little bit better three days in could before moving

Off to Kyoto Osaka and Hiroshima before coming back to Choda well my Canda station after Tokyo just to split Tokyo up a little bit Yeah I think that that’s a very clever thing to do I don’t think people should be moving from one area to Tokyo to another

If you’re still in Tokyo just stick to one one hotel place and explore from there but if you are starting in Tokyo traveling around and returning to Tokyo then it’s a great opportunity to stay in a different area of Tokyo may I ask how you able to travel

To Japan so often are you able to work remote ha that’s a good good question mg I you may ask and I will answer the reason is because I am actually I work in education um which means that I am very lucky and fortunate that I follow

The a the calendar of the institution that I work for which means that I have all the same vacation time so I have vacation time um now actually this week which I could have literally I could have been in Japan right now but I just don’t have the money unfortunately um so

Instead I’m going to London which is going to be cheaper for me cuz it’s closer um then in Easter I have a little bit of time I’ll be in Japan summer I have seven weeks out of which six of them I’m going to be in Japan um October

I have another break for from work so I can go to Japan etc etc etc that’s the reason by the way I do have this um toky banana which I had forgotten about any questions Japan questions I’m here to answer them or try to answer them at least T banana I think thing

If you got all the way to Japan you know that was quite adventurous in it in its own right so don’t take that away from you yuk station was busy you’re right s here but not next to crus got lost in the crowds even when getting on the

Train s SOI has become a very very very crowded area for Sure for sure um o what is the best plan for deant in Japan for westerners longterm that’s a good question and probably the best plan is every time you have friends or people that you know traveling to Japan to ask them to take some de deodorant for you um I don’t normally like

Um like like talk too much about the gokart experience because I know that the locals aren’t too happy with of it it is a nuisance um and because I have that knowledge now I would never use it but um but I understand the appeal and um and what’s a go what’s the goart

Experience like I don’t know I wouldn’t do it banana I am hyping the toku bananas way too much guys they’re nice um I think if you’re looking for something cheap then maybe a business Hotel like a Tokyo in toyoko in sorry or a apaa hotel for example Dy in are quite

Nice because they have um they have a spot at the top um it depends on the weight of the suitcase or it depends on the waist of what your the weight the weight of what you’re sending home there’s a shopping Tokyo station that sells omy from all over Japan but I

Don’t know the name I think it will be convenient before leaving yeah tip for the super busy station is often to just step out of the flow or the people off to one side and wait for the train to leave the platform then it tends to get calmer and easier yeah um

All those all those tips are very useful I have to say another tip is to time your your travel around the you know not being there during the peak season peak time of the day hey Leon thanks for coming on and I am starting to bring things to a close

But thanks for for for for coming hello new around here I have planned toook Osaka kazawa Ur I would you recommend more rural visits to p to purely day trips or jumping from one place to the next hotel wise um I would recommend as much rural rural

Japan as you can get because I love it um but if it’s your first time then my suggestion is to try to make it reasonably easy to travel around and not complicate things too much by having to change change hotels too often so um I would suggest that you don’t change

Hotels too many times it’s just an added stress of checking out checking into new hotel what you going to do with the luggage Lage for luggage forwarding etc etc etc so maybe because it’s your first time I’m guessing it’s your first time um you want to find the middle ground

Which is maybe one or two rural like experiences where you stay rurally and the rest day trips but there’s second trip you’ll probably be more confident and you’ll be able to do do um a little bit more hey aleris you’re very welcome you’re very welcome I’m just going to

Quickly go have to buy too banana what have I done the bananas are dangerous indeed comini is your restaurant um I think most business hotels are very similar to be honest so hi everyone follow the sun you’re on the train to the airport you’ll be in Japan in the

Next few hours cuz I know how short the flight is Julian we wish this year to visit some Garden in Tokyo but I am afraid of those giant wasps is there a lot of those I can tell you Julie that I’ve traveled to Japan for throughout the last 10 years

In fact this July will be my 10 year anniversary I’ve been traveled to Japan multiple times a year the first few years I only went once a year and after my fourth trip I’ve gone two three or four times a year to Japan um the last two years I’ve been traveling four times

A year to Japan and I’ve only seen those wasps three or four times ever if that if that helps you I’m really depressed shopping in Japanese convenience stores the hollow eyes and voices of the clerks made me so sad oh how did you get around kabucho

You know what um I got obviously I rented a a bike and I made sure that it was an ebike like an electric bike for getting around I did a hell of a lot of cycling it was very tiring but it was very beautiful too so that is what I

Did and a little bit of of um a little bit of um bus yay shinagawa station indeed I agree you’re very risk of us but gotten used to taking the train to Tokyo rarely get it on the wrong train but even if I do I just get off the station and

Recognize exactly I mean I’ve got on the wrong train before you know rushing but and and I’ve got on the train I’m like wait a minute this is the wrong train the doors have closed and I just had to get off at the next station no problem nice nice

Nice yeah I can’t wait to see your itinery and your questions I’m sure you you’ll be fine Leon you’ll see um follow the sun I’m so jealous so so jealous but for other understand what part of of Tokyo what part of Japan are you going to be

Traveling to I said Tokyo what part of Japan are you going to be at hey Mark thank you so much for being here Disney SE or Disneyland I would probably choose Disney C just because um Disney C is the only one in the world you know Disneyland there are other

Disneylands but there’s only one Disney C really thank you so much Philip for being awesome and for not falling asleep I have to say Well done you’ve done a fantastic job thanks for being a great moderator today you’re very welcome oh interestingly imoga police and I don’t know when you’re planning on

Going to Nagoya but I’m actually going to be doing spending quite a few nights in Nagoya for that exact reason I will be heading to Nagoya um during my summer trip and I’ll be spending ending a few nights in Nagoya exploring Nagoya a little bit ninja well I have fun on my taka

First time W Mount taka nice one Mount taka I remember walking from Shinjuku to ASA me nightes took me 2 hours and 30 minutes I can imagine that wow wow okay first fujiama atami then Mana then noran Shinjuku like a circle nice for the sunand Jim Ross is there getting lost quite a

Bit maybe maybe maybe you could meet up with Jim Ross and and help him figure out how to navigate the city a little bit better without getting two loss I don’t know what I explore is so obviously not um is two night in Heron too much you know what two night’s anywhere isn’t

Enough it will just mean that you can just take it at a at a slower Pace it just depends how slow you want it really Jim needs help no worries yeah um yeah if you can if you can if you could you would be doing me a big favor

Because I’m I really want him to to to figure out how to navigate Tokyo a little bit better um but yeah anyway everyone it’s been a longer stream than normal because I don’t work tomorrow because I’m off work so I thought you know what

I’ll do a little bit of an extra long um stream answering all of those questions for those people who want questions U answers sorry two nights at any of the N major destinations is solid except for hakone is quite a major destination but yeah Matthew thanks Ninja for your good

Tips I love your videos thank you very much I do hope that the videos are easy to follow I really stress a lot when I put out a video for example that video that I just put out the uh how to plan a trip to Tokyo you’ve got no idea how

Complicated it is to try to put into video formats like like how to prepare people who have never been on a trip to Japan let alone a trip to Tokyo um how to guide people it’s been so freaking complicated so I hope that those five um

Like steps that I’ve given that video at least gets people thinking and guides people to the to to to actually being able to to figure out um how to plan their trip in Tokyo as a start it’s it is very complicated like I say I do

Spend a long time trying to script and I write a script and then I try to rewrite the script to make it easier then I rewrite it make it shorter etc etc etc so little Rebel indeed no work tomorrow no work tomorrow Hol I’m glad that we’ve been

Able to help 12 more days awesome with the amot line is it easy to visit different destinations in Tokyo very easy most of the main destinations you can get to with the am thanks so much for your tips I’ve been watching your videos preparing for a trip yeah my

Family has left me with planning the whole aty for a week yay I’m doing the trains and Subways pretty well once I leave the station it goes badly only took a couple of days to get used to the Subways and the train I’m glad so that’s

A big step though Jim because if you can if you can get from one station to the other um then that’s a huge step really your usual hotel in ask is to EXP expensive now stay in a different area for the for a few days yeah um the same

Thing for me when I go now in Spring I’m having to say ikuro because even the APPA that I usually say in weno is no good it’s too expensive you don’t you there might be like a tourist tax a specific tax and it depends on the type of of Hotel mg like

For example if it’s an onen area there’s an onen tax for using the Onsen water in many places crows don’t bother you nice nice nice nice nice stream as always Logan ran is still there watching thanks Christopher I’m just reading the last few questions or statements is the only

Place I’m spending two nights in as I’m mainly there to take some pictures myself as well as do the tourest things but normally three nights will be the minimum stay in an area yeah my next trip in the summer I’m going to be slowing down and spending more time in different areas
