札幌雪まつり 2024 Snow Sculpture Contest in Sapporo, Japan

The results of the competition have finally been announced!
👑🥇first place is Mongolia
🥈second place is Thailand
🥉third place is South Korea
🌹fourth place is Indonesia
🌹fifth place is Lithuania

i was a little bit surprised.
Although the Team Mongolia’s work looks fairly simple, I guess it was appreciated because of the warmth that was felt within it.anyway all teams are amazing👍👍

The judges seem to change slightly depending on the year. Recently, the birthrate has been declining in Japan, so perhaps Mongolia’s snow sculptures were more appreciated in that respect!!👶
