My grandfather passed away from a stroke. My mother and grandmother continued this restaurant. I returned when they were planning to close down. I used to be a French and Italian cook. I started serving rice omelet when my kids were here when they didn’t have kindergarden. They always had egg rolls.

Our restaurant is called Konan Soba. Konan University is nearby, so a lot of students come. A lot of school personnel and professors also come. My grandfather used to run a milk shop called Konan milk. He raised cows and milked them, took their milk and sold them. The name was Konan milk.
