Kamakura A town with many temples and shrines. It is crowded with many people. I will take a local train from here. There are many places where the tracks meander. And when you get through the meandering… You can see the beautiful sea. This is one of the best surf spots in Japan.

And then I run through the town. I feel like I’m going to hit a car. I arrive at Enoshima station. And here is the main theme of this time. Shonan Monorail. It has a Pikachu vending machine. The platform is on the 5th floor. The platform is on the 5th floor.

I come to the station platform. This is the Shonan Monorail I will ride this time. The train has three cars. This Shonan Monorail is called a suspension monorail, and there are only two of them in Japan. It is a monorail that hangs from the top and has no tracks.

It is like a train jumping out of a mountain. Now it is time to depart. It feels like being sucked into the mountain. There is a sense of attraction in this feeling of being out of the light.

When the train is stopped and a train comes from across the street, it shakes a lot. It is to the point where you are worried that there might be an earthquake. It feels very much like flying in the sky. And it turns left and right. It is like a roller coaster.

The feeling of going toward the ground is quite thrilling. The train shakes a lot while running. It is just like a pendulum monorail. It doesn’t seem to go very fast, but the speed you feel is fast. If it is on a slope, it seems to hit the road.

It overtakes cars right above the road. The roller coaster feeling starts again. This feeling of going under the ground is the best. This is the area where the number of cars starts to increase. Hitting a slope full of cars.

Just from the scenery seen from here, it looks like a train is about to collide with a car. A big approach with a car. From the ground level… It is running very close to the road. And the train is running right above the pedestrian bridge.

From the station, the train appears to jump out of the road. The hill can be seen beyond the rails It is passing cars rapidly. And soon it will be the last stop. When seen from the side, the train appears to fly right next to houses.

We have come from a residential area to an urban area. And the hole you see in that foreground is the end point. I get off at the last stop, Ofuna. From here, I will again head toward Enoshima. I will use a free ticket and head toward Enoshima.

The view from the back is also interesting. I have arrived at Enoshima Station. And there is a terrace at the station. Nice view. I heard that if the weather is good, you can see Mt.Fuji I walk from here. Enoshima is in sight. It is connected to Enoshima by a bridge.

Enoshima is where the shrine is located. Restaurants and souvenir shops line the street. And at the end of the street… you will see a large torii gate. As I climb up… You will see the shrine. And from the observatory You will see a beautiful view…

After going down a narrow alley, you will see… You can see the sea erosion plateau… At the end of this red bridge is a cave. Nostalgic scenery can be seen. You can go down to this rock. I am back. How was Enoden, Shonan Monorail, and Enoshima?
