今回は日本一周中に行けなかった日本三名泉『有馬温泉』に行ってきました♨️
街並みも風情があり、ザ！温泉地感があってすごく良かったです☺️
次は金の湯・銀の湯どっちもあるお宿の温泉に入ってみたいなと思いました。

そして、ついに禁断の車内サムギョプサル！！！
意外といけました笑
もう美味しすぎてたまらんかったです🤤
ただキムチがかなり跳ねたのでお肉よりもキムチの管理が大変でしたとさ。笑

Having a sink inside the car is convenient, so we don’t have to go outside in the morning. At first, we hesitated to use the sink, but since we installed it, we decided to make the most of it. (Laughs) Going for a walk. What a nice weather.

During van life, we can walk in various places, which is a good stimulation for Chibi and Bota. Shall I start making breakfast? Yeah, please. I’m hungry. Me too. Let’s take out the kitchen supplies from the storage under the bed.

Today’s plan is Arima Onsen for the first time. Let’s make breakfast before heading there. Chibi and Bota get lazy when there’s a chance. (Laughs) This sandwich maker can toast two pieces at once, so it’s quite convenient! I love putting fresh tomatoes on toast.

I also love ham so much that I can eat it with mayonnaise. This is a guaranteed win… The electric sandwich maker is handy because there’s less worry about burning. Boiling water and preparing drinks. When using fire, we open the small window of the Hiace for ventilation.

Coffee or tea, which one do you prefer today? Hmm… Tea! Let’s go with Earl Grey Oolong tea. Thanks. Dogs love the kotatsu. Kotatsu dogs. I love the sound of pouring hot water; it’s soothing. There are various baths, and it’s hard to decide where to go. Should we go to the bath in the ryokan or to the Golden and Silver Springs? Arima Onsen is one of Japan’s three famous hot springs. Arima Onsen and? Gero Onsen in Gifu, Kusatsu Onsen in Gunma.

Speaking of that, we haven’t been to Gero Onsen, right? We should go. On that day, we were troubled by the rain. Since we were there, we wanted to take a short walk in the hot spring town. It was quite rainy, pouring down. Did you pass? We only had Kei-chan yaki and went home.

Nostalgic. We should go. But still, when it comes to hot springs… Sin Tamagawa Onsen in Akita is the first that comes to mind. I want to try Kusatsu Onsen in autumn. I want to go. During the fall foliage season. Kusatsu has two left for the bath tour. Bath tour tickets.

I wanted to go in winter, but… Since we had a hearty breakfast, we’re heading to Arima Onsen. As we approach the hot spring area, the townscape changes to a hot spring town, which is exciting. Before going into the hot spring, let’s take a short walk in the hot spring town.

Chibi: “This is the best for me.” Chibi: “I can see various things and smell them.” Special seat, huh? Chibi: “It’s comfortable.” First, I’d like to go to the Golden Spring. We got a set ticket for the Golden and Silver Springs, and it comes with a bonus towel.

Staff: “Please take the Silver Spring with you.” Staff: “You’ll get only one towel.” Staff: “Please use the locker with the number.” It’s hot. It’s hot. Caramel soft-serve looks incredibly delicious. Right in front of us!! This is a trap. We’re being lured in, like this. It didn’t catch our attention when we arrived.

We couldn’t see this side when we arrived. I want to eat it. Looks good. Let’s share. Here we go. Looks delicious. Caramel. The caramel flavor is very strong. Yeah. Is there a hint of salt? There’s a subtle saltiness. Yeah. It’s good after a bath. Delicious.

The natural hot spring here is originally around 84°C. As I thought. It’s quite high. There’s lukewarm and hot baths. The lukewarm one is about 42°C. I thought the same thing. I thought it was hot, so I went into the hot bath. It’s 44°C, so it’s not that hot.

In the end, I thought it was about the same temperature. But it felt good. Next is the Silver Spring. How was the Silver Spring? Well, you know… I had too high expectations. I understand. Despite being a carbonated spring, the temperature was surprisingly high. I wondered if the carbonation effect was working.

It felt like a regular bath… The Golden Spring is probably better. In terms of carbonated springs, I liked “Yokatan” nearby better. That might be true. It depends on personal preference. However, being able to take a bath at this time is happiness. It’s a luxury.

After enjoying Arima Onsen, we head to a Michi-no-Eki (roadside station) in Kobe. We’ll do some grocery shopping for dinner at a supermarket about 5 minutes by car from the Michi-no-Eki. It was a super large supermarket attached to the Mita Premium Outlets. It became completely dark while we were shopping leisurely. Beautiful. Amazing.

They’re doing illumination. Proper illumination. I wonder if it costs money. I don’t know. Quite a few people are coming in. It’s a very spacious and beautiful Michi-no-Eki. Being a large Michi-no-Eki near Kobe, there were also many cars camping overnight. Since we’re here, let’s go see the illumination for a bit.

It suddenly got cold. It’s calming. Feels like coming back home. That illumination… It’s like the Kobe Luminarie, a big illumination. Is that so? It’s that big? Thought about entering, but it’s 1,800 yen. Expensive… It’s reasonable, though. If you’re here for that purpose, it’s fine, but… It’s a bit much for a spontaneous visit.

It’s 3,600 yen for two people. Before it cools off… Let’s prepare. I’m hungry! Let’s do it. We’ll take out the cooking utensils stored under the center mat. To make it easy to bring out during camping, I’ve organized them in a container. I’ve prepared a perfect dish for after the bath for tonight’s dinner.

Just washing the shiso leaves, my mouth is watering. (laughs) Preparation is just this much, so let’s set up the table. By the way, I DIYed this tray with leftover materials from a DIY project. We’ll have some drinks, and today, I’ll indulge in my favorite white rice.

Until now, I had a 1.5-cup rice cooker, but to prevent overeating, I switched to a 1-cup cooker. This rice cooker is a new addition for this car camping trip, and I really love it. Our car camping meals wouldn’t start without this. (laughs) The sound of the carbonation is irresistible.

While others say, “It has to feel like a real hot spring!” I understand, I understand. Someone might say, “I’m going to Gin no Yu.” While another might say, “I’m going to Kin no Yu.” Hot springs are just great, aren’t they? Thank you. It’s nice that you can wash it all at once.
