Today, we’re embarking on a journey to explore two  of Bali’s hidden treasures – Blue Point Beach and   Padang Padang Beach, both nestled in the  enchanting Uluwatu region. In this video,   we spill all the important tips for  checking out these awesome beaches,

What to expect and the best way to get  there using the coolest transportation.  Let’s kick things off with the captivating  Blue Point Beach, also known as Suluban Beach   in Uluwatu. First things first, when is the  best time to visit Suluban Beach? Aim for low

Tide – it reveals more sandy beach spaces, making  it easier to explore the cave and discover small   rock openings leading to Hidden Beach. At high  tide not only does much of the beach disappear,   you will also find it difficult getting through  the cave. If you can’t time it during low tide,

Consider an early morning visit before the midday  sun kicks in. This way, you’ll have a few peaceful   hours on the beach before it gets crowded. Once you arrive, there’s a parking lot at   the top of Uluwatu Cliff. From there, it’s about  a 10-minute walk down a set of concrete stairs,

Surrounded by clifftop bars, cafes,  souvenir stores, and surfboard rental   shops. Treat yourself to a light snack and  a cold Bintang at one of the cafes – they’re   affordable and provide a great view. And trust  me, once you catch sight of Blue Point Beach,

You won’t be able to resist stopping for a minute. As you make your way down to Pantai Suluban,   you’ll notice the famous Uluwatu surf break.  It’s truly a sight to behold. However, keep in   mind that the beach isn’t the best for swimming or  sunbathing due to unpredictable waves in and out

Of the cave. But, as long as you use common sense  and assess the conditions, the cave is safe to   explore. Once you’ve had a bite to eat and drink,  continue down the Uluwatu cliff to Suluban Cave.  If you’re looking for a more ideal spot for  swimming, make your way through the cave to

Discover Hidden Beach. It’s my personal favorite  on the entire Bukit Peninsula. Perch up on the   sand, soak up the sun, and take a refreshing  dip to cool off. Keep an eye out for remnants   of a wooden boat at the foot of Uluwatu Cliff on  the southern end of Hidden Beach – a testament

To the hidden treasures this place holds. Now, let’s switch gears to Padang Padang Beach,   also known as Pantai Labuan Sait. This stunning  surf spot on the Bukit Peninsula is a must-visit   destination for beach lovers apart from Blue Point  Beach. Nestled on the southwest coastline of the

Bukit Peninsula, Padang Padang Beach boasts a one  hundred meter-long stretch of fine white sand.   Accessible through a unique hollow rock entrance,  the beach is surrounded by exotic rock caves,   tidal swimming pools, and secluded beaches.  And did I mention the world-class waves?

This beach is not only a paradise for surfers  but also a regular host for international   surfing events, with the Rip Curl Cup Padang  Padang being the most frequent. Fun fact:   it even played a romantic role in the 2010  big-screen adaptation of ‘Eat, Pray, Love.’

Now, before you hit the sand, be prepared  to pay an entrance fee of 10,000 Indonesian   Rupiah per person. Cash is essential, so  make sure to have some small bills on hand.  As you make your way down the narrow staircase  through the limestone cave, be cautious of

The mischievous monkeys that might snatch your  belongings. But trust me, the breathtaking view   awaiting you at the bottom is totally worth it! The best time to visit Padang Padang Beach is   all year round, especially during the sunniest  and driest months from April to October. Whether

You’re into surfing, swimming, or just soaking up  the sun, this beach has something for everyone.  During low tide, explore the natural rock  formations around the foot of Padang Padang   Bali cliffs, offering excellent photo  opportunities and secluded beaches.

With its great waves and a white sandy stretch  that extends 100 meters from north to south,   Padang Padang Beach is a surfers’ paradise.  The best time for surfing is during the dry   season from June to September,  although April, May, and October

Also provide good waves with fewer surfers. Now, let’s talk about how to get to these   two picturesque spots. If you’re staying in the  Uluwatu region, renting a scooter is a convenient   option. If you’re coming from Kuta, Seminyak, or  Canggu, expect a 1 to 1 and half hour journey. If

You’re not comfortable on a scooter, consider  hiring a private car and a driver for the day.  That’s what we did! We hired a driver for a  day to check out these two awesome beaches   and Uluwatu Temple. Finally, the driver dropped  us off at our place near Seminyak. It’s a great

Move because we didn’t have to stress about not  getting a taxi during rush hours and could chill   at the beaches as long as we wanted. You can find  the info about the driver we’ve known for years   in the description below or in our free Bali  travel plan. We’re dropping this travel plan

For free in the final video of our Bali trip.  Check out these two videos on Uluwatu Temple   and how we saved money and time planning our  Bali trip! Catch you at the next Bali hotspot!
