I’m going to see which one at wants have options got the hands ready which one Both greetings from Kyoto Japan we’re the Evergreens and if you’ve been following along with our Japan series you’ll know that we left the Mount Fuji area yesterday and traveled here to Kyoto via the Shen Consin which is also known as Japan’s bullet train we’re so excited to be here in Kyoto this has

Been high up on our list in Japan there’s so much we want to experience here but we’re kicking off our day today at one of Japan’s most iconic sites this is the Fushimi anari Shrine So we made it to one of the viewpoints you can still go up a little bit further but I think we’re going to turn back now yeah the walk to the mount is like 20 more minutes but it’s been raining like the entire time but it really sets the

Mood for this walk we’ve enjoyed it we bought this umbrella this morning at 7-Eleven it’s like $6 so I’m really glad we did yeah so we’re huddled under here and yeah I think we have probably about like a 45 minute walk down so we’re just going to enjoy the rest of the

Shrine should I try this one or this one it looks like a carbonated oh it’s a lot of rain carbonated lemon or this is carbonated Peach try that peach looks good I got peach soda from the vending machine ooh it’s delightful isn’t that so good oh yeah it

Tastes like a peach ring gummy really good literally everything we’ve had from a vening machine and 7-Eleven except for the vending machine coffee that’s see what it tastes like SMS terrible that’s vny machine coffee for you Hi look at this crab we just found oh my go it’s just like a giant piece of crab like me this is what dreams are made of I didn’t have to do any work for it it’s huge yeah there’s literally Food Markets lining these streets and we weren’t even planning on

Eating right now but you can’t pass something like this uput that’s amazing they give it Te You steaming hot and it’s so fresh and it’s yeah delicious we are just admiring all of the houses and I didn’t even notice we’re walking towards the Temple favorite okay we’ll do those that lady was so sweet she gave us a sample of something so after we went to an ATM we went back to buy something but she was really pushing these o oyy yummy that’s actually really good It’s crazy they’re so tall and dense feels like you’re walking through a story book or Something I like how you like so relaxed good morning guys so we just walked through the famous bamboo forest here in Kyoto it’s about an hour Transit ride from where we’re staying but we got here just before 9:00 a.m. and there were people definitely but it was way

Less crowded I’d say by 9:15 the crowd’s really filled in and it’s pretty chaotic here yeah it’s a little bit panic and deucing now so I think we’re going to head out of here and go see some Monkeys we smelled these bad boys and we had to try it it’s wagy beef and potato and it’s like just this little fried Patty like a croat oh it looks amazing it smells so good I wish you guys could smell it M it’s very light like not a strong

Flavor but just really creamy on the inside a nice beef flavor I think there’s like some onions in there as well and some seasoning okay we got a little bit adventurous we got an octopus onion fish cake doesn’t taste like octopus to me almost tastes like pork but yeah really

Good thank you sweetest decided we’re allowed to eat extra fried foods while we’re in Japan because everywhere we’ve gone we’ve had to walk up about a million steps and Pathways that are like angled up the whole way okay so it’s pretty clear that we do not want to see the monkeyy teeth

Today how you doing over There You got a crowd Laurel some chestnuts to feed them go sir oh oh oh don’t fight holy crap he’s hungry you like it baby looks like Benjamin Buton the baby got this we got the peanuts this time I think they’re the bigger hit chestnuts didn’t seem so popular I’m

Going to see which one it wants option got the hands ready which one Both there you go your mouth your mouth Mouth now he’s picking off of him they’re making me itchy this is so cool all the mon monkeys are just out in nature I think they hang around this area obviously because people are feeding them but if you want to feed them you have to be

Inside of a caged area so the monkeys are still out in the wild and you’re the one in the cage we’re really lucky to be here right now because it’s the season that they have their babies so I don’t know how old the babies are but they’re

Still pretty tiny they’re so cute to watch they just like follow the big ones around and mimic them and the monkeys only really ever fight each other if they’re fighting over food but the the food’s pretty um plentiful here like they’re being fed fruit and nuts and it seems like they’re just like

Eating and picking bugs off of each other and eating those as well oh she’s stuck it’s like the slowest slide I barely fit in It we are the Children we are The first Japanese pancake this one’s creme brulee it’s based like having CR brulee with a giant fluffy pancake in the middle of it Amazing So we’re at yaka Shrine right now in gon we saw everyone ringing these spells over here and clapping and bowing so I looked it up it says in order to pray to the gods first throw in some change ring the bell by shaking the Rope next bow

Deeply twice clap twice then pray to make your Way did I do that backwards I don’t know oh I have to make a wish Feel like This Told you never Got a butt shot these are cheese croats no they’re not no it’s not I think that’s the time the language barrier came into play um as for cheese but we got beef and vegetables but it’s very good wait Laurel found the cheese there is cheese in there whoa you got

All the cheese I’ve never seen this yeah what is that I don’t know I don’t know how I feel about that they’re literally always picking bugs off of each other and I’m not sure if it’s to stay hygienic or if they just want to eat bugs a little bit of both finding some Bugs he’s really pulling his hair you see that yeah pulling his hair that’s like a skin tag grooming each other it cost between 400,000 and 1,300,000 Yen jeez I don’t think we’re going to be uh donating any any of those anytime soon any of the gates anytime soon jeez I don’t Bo

Boom jeez okay it’s going to rain on us oh my gosh do that one more time Laurel just twirled her hair into the umbrella I was waiting for a to get a shot and okay I think we’re good okay I went to pull it away and I was like

Ow she loves twirling her hair usually an indication that she’s tired

  3. It’s very sad when the videos come to an end. πŸ₯² I could watch an hour of your bloopers. πŸ€£πŸ˜‚ Just please don’t start picking bugs of each other! πŸ€ͺ And yes, Laurel, you did it backwards at the shrine. πŸ™ƒAt least from what you were reading. You also forgot to do the hokey-pokey and turn yourself around, β€˜cause that’s what it’s all about…clap clap….now ring the bell! Haha πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ¦„
