Today, I’m unusually on the move since the morning. The place I’m heading to now is the most memorable from when I first came to Hokkaido. I’m sure Niina will like it too. It takes about 12 minutes from Sapporo to Shinrin Koen Station.

I thought I left early in the morning, but it’s already past 11. Although it’s only 12 minutes away, it’s incredibly quiet and peaceful! This might be a good place to live if we ever move to Hokkaido. It’s my first time seeing this scenery. Is this normal for Hokkaido…?

The bus runs only 13 times a day. Seems normal, right? lol The entrance was at the back. (In Japan, bus entrances vary depending on the bus.) Adding some explanation about the bus, there are both prepaid and on-the-spot payment systems for the fare.

Bus fares may be calculated based on distance, or there may be a flat rate for the entire route. Lovely scenery! When I first came here, I mistakenly took the wrong bus stop and walked quite a bit,but that remains a good memory ^^ This is the terminal station. And this is exactly our destination.

The balance on my IC card is not enough. Let’s make sure to charge it in advance and not forget! People cleaning when we got off the bus also greeted us. How kind! Niina starts running!! We’ve arrived at the Historical Village of Hokkaido Niina is energetic today as well! lol

And this is the racoon song that Niina made! lol It’s just as it was when I first visited. It’s quite moving. And the weather is really nice! Inside is the same as it was when I visited in 2006!

Up to middle school, it’s free, and high school and university students get a discount. Amazingly, if you are a foreign exchange student living in Hokkaido, it’s free for you. Since nothing applied to me, when I said “I’m just an adult”, She said I’m a lovely adult. How kind!!

You can also visit the museum if you walk 15 minutes. Historical Village alone is 800 yen, and the museum alone is 600 yen. If you buy both as a set, it’s 1200 yen, which is 200 yen cheaper.

Looking at the map, it’s huge, so we decided to just go to the Historical Village There are both Japanese and English versions of the guide. During winter, you can borrow rubber boots for free. Today, it seems there’s not much snow, so we decided to go outside without wearing boots!

Niina is excited as soon as the automatic door opens! Surprisingly, you can go sledding here! And Niina is trying it out right away! (By the way, it seems it’s her first time sliding on snow.) It’s fun just watching from here too! Niina is really excited! lol

And now it’s my turn! It’s the first time since I was a kid! It’s interesting! lol Please try it if you visit in winter! And now we’re going for a two-person ride!! Personally, a two-person ride doubles the weight, so it’s faster and more fun!

The Historical Village of Hokkaido is an Open-air museum of relocated and restored buildings that represent the history of Hokkaido from 1868 to the 1920. Old buildings, farming tools, and daily items from the past are displayed, creating a mysterious place that feels like going back in time ^^ This is an soba restaurant !

It has a nice feel to it! Unfortunately, you can’t go upstairs… Even the toilet is recreated. And now, we are inside an inn. This is a guest room. It’s quite spacious. Earlier, it was probably a two-person room, and this seems like a single room. And probably this is the sink.

Of course, there’s no water, Niina! lol It’s the toilet. It feels different from the previous one. Since it’s an inn, they’ve prepared a decent number. And where is this? It feels like a museum. Various items used in the past are displayed. Here, you can climb to the second floor, so let’s go up!

The second floor is just like the first floor. There’s still a lot more, so let’s move on to the next place! There’s a lot of snow, and just walking around here is fun! By the way, if you come in summer, the atmosphere here completely changes, so please be aware.

I roughly counted on the map, and there are over 50 buildings in this village. However, it seems not all of them are open. Maybe they are under renovation. Although it’s a reproduction of old houses, it feels strange as if entering someone’s house without permission! lol

You can read the building’s explanation in Japanese, English, Korean, Chinese, and Russian by scanning the QR code. Niina suddenly starts acting! lol It’s small police station ! The snow adds a nice atmosphere! Niina is surprised! What could she be surprised about? This! lol Suddenly, someone appeared.

And Niina suddenly asks for directions! lol By the way, this place, like the pink building, had a museum-like feel. It’s quite interesting to see old signs. This is a house where they used to make and sell sake. There’s a factory inside the house, and various tools for making sake are displayed.

I’m getting hungry, so let’s go eat something! Historical Village restaurant There is a real restaurant in the village too, haha. It’s quite big inside. Probably designed to accommodate group tourists, it’s made quite large. There’s more variety of food than I thought, so I had a bit of trouble deciding what to eat.

Niina chose Sapporo miso ramen (810 yen). Maybe it’s because of the cold, I feel like having ramen too, haha. But I chose pork cutlet curry! (930 yen) There’s a large serving, but it’s not for the cutlet. it’s only for the rice.

When the food arrives, your queue number is displayed on the left-side TV. It’s curry with pork cutlet! It was surprisingly delicious, more than I expected! The miso ramen was as delicious as ramen restaurant! (As expected, it’s the hometown of miso ramen.) When we went outside, it had started snowing without us noticing.

So, We changed into boots. My boot design is a bit… lol Umbrellas are also available for free. Niina looks so happy wearing boots! lol It seems like many people come here just to take photos. This building is my favorite!

Once you enter the entrance, it feels quite simple and has a bit of a modern atmosphere! Being a photo studio, you can take good pictures in various places of this building! This is the second floor! The atmosphere on the second floor is also excellent!

I was surprised by this. They made part of the roof all windows to create natural light. Niina seems to like it here too! Perhaps due to the light, the inside was very warm. Looks like an old camera. I also enjoy taking photos.

In my first year of high school, there was a club activity once a month. My friends and I joined the “Museum Tour” club since all the popular clubs were full. Everytime we visited museums The teacher in charge always took photos before the museum tour ended.

So I asked the teacher, why she liked taking photos so much. She said that after living for over 40 years, the only things that remain in life are photographs. So now, to capture the flowing moments, I’m preserving those moments like this. We found something big after walking for a while.

There’s no English sign outside, and it might be difficult for foreigners to enter. But it seems like something is going on inside. You can make traditional Japanese toys here. Ah! We’re completely being watched lol But once we entered, they warmly welcomed us. Actually, it’s really warm here lol

The theme changes every month, and this month they’re making origami hina dolls. It’s aimed at children, but adults can do it too. It’s divided into three difficulty levels like this. (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) We chose the most difficult one! First, choose your favorite color! Confident Niina! lol

But actually, she’s just imitating the staff lol I haven’t made origami since elementary school, but this is how you make folds. Just watching it, it seems easy, but it’s quite challenging lol The atmosphere inside feels like being in a villa in the mountains somewhere. Go for it, Niina-chan! Finally completed! Congratulations!!

Then you can add your favorite letters and make a face! Like this! Niina-chan is laughing for some reason lol The weather cleared up when we came out! And Niina starts running! Niina looks a bit disappointed now lol When asked how it was, she seems not to have heard, lol. Busy Niina! haha

Unfortunately, it’s closed. Niina got surprised by some strong smell! Oh! It’s a horse! Not real, though. No! There’s a real one too lol (You can ride a horse on weekends and holidays) Niina seems worried that the horse looks bored! Niina found something surprising again! What happened?

I see, lol. It’s upgraded as you walk further in. It’s a bit too realistic. The sun is starting to set. Which means it’s getting close to the time to go home. With boots, you can do things like this! Niina found something again! I was also surprised! It’s too realistic lol

And here, they even play the talking sounds! It’s evolving rapidly lol By the way, there was a small shrine too! Niina found something again!! A dog?? (The answer will be revealed later) And the music starts playing. (Not the BGM) Yes! This music signals that it’s about to end!

And Niina starts running with all her might! (Looks like Niina wants to see more ) I said weI’ll come again next time, but for now, Niina is running around, lol. She replied that she understood, but she’s still running, lol. Niina is really enjoying herself now!

By the way, the business hours are from May to September, 9:00 to 17:00, and from October to April, 9:00 to 16:30. Thank you for the shoes ! They sell various souvenirs in the lobby! And the animal Ninna saw was actually a fox!

Since it’s rare to see them during the day, the staff was also surprised. At first, Niina thought it was a dog, but when she noticed the tail was different, she thought it might be a fox. And now we’re heading back the same way! By the way, the last bus is at 5:40.

We’ll come again!! It’s a 12-minute distance, but it really feels like a different world. Sapporo Station is much larger than I thought. And again, ramen, lol (We’ve become ramen YouTubers!) Unfortunately, this Ramen Republic has closed down due to the redevelopment of Sapporo Station.

It had various famous ramen restaurants, and it was fun to choose, but it’s a pity. And the ramen restaurant we chose is Yoshiyama Shouten! Niina seems tired haha Japanese ramen shops are really lively and nice, aren’t they! Here’s the Spicy Miso Ramen I ordered

And Niina chose the Miso and fish broth Ramen! And a side menu of Crab Bowl! Both of us liked the Miso and fish broth Ramen! more than the regular miso, lol And now we’re waiting for the bus. Now, where are we heading to next!

Today, we came to see the night view of Moiwa Mountain, one of Japan’s top three nightscapes! I brought Niina here secretly. (I always move without saying where we’re going, lol) First, let’s buy the tickets! (Adults: 1680 yen per person) Business hours (April to November): 10:30 to 22:00, (December to March): 11:00 to 22:00.

The procedure is to take the Moiwa Ropeway first from the current “Sanroku Station” to the “Chufuku” station. Here’s the view from the Ropeway! And from here, we’ll transfer to the Mini Cable Car to go to the “Sancho” station!

There’s a guide too, so as long as you follow everyone, there shouldn’t be any problems, lol. For some reason, there are two, and everyone is moving to the bottom, so we did too. In the end, it didn’t matter which one we got on, lol. Finally, we’ve arrived!

Just when I thought that, we have to take an elevator again. It’s really arrived! Niina looks very happy ^^ It’s beautiful! It must be beautiful during the day too! The wind was very strong, and it was freezing. After about 15 minutes, almost everyone was gone, haha

Especially since it’s on top of a mountain, I strongly recommend wearing warm clothes. Niina found the moon. Rather than the view created by humans in front of us, for us, this moon is more beautiful. I wonder what’s going on with Niina ?

Actually, she found a stamp at Sapporo Station and I went to get a stamp sheet. And Niina was praying that there’s still a stamp sheet left. Fortunately, there was still a stamp sheet! In Japan, famous stations in tourist areas have special stamps like this. Apparently many people collect these stamps in Japan!

Unfortunately, the stamp at Sapporo Station was damaged, so I used a little trick! Press the stamp sheet evenly with your fingers! Then it becomes clean?? like this, lol Are you ready?
