My favorite oh its your favorite? if you’ve been thinking about traveling to Hokkaido this is your sign to book the trip ✨ this was our first time in Hokkaido and our third trip to Japan and after this we know that the North of Japan

Is a place that we will keep coming back to we visited Japan before during the winter and the spring cherry blossom season but our time here in Hokkaido surprised us more than we anticipated the plan was to arrive to Haneda around 2:00 PM

Hang out and check out the airport but our flight was delayed we explained the situation to the flight attendants we rushed to the front of the plane but to top it off we had landed on an off-site area where we had to take a bus to the main terminal

We’re back in Japannn! Thankfully, the Japanese Delta and ANA personnel at Haneda were very helpful and got us to the next available flight now it’s really cold we’re heree look at the tower We stayed at the Royal Park Canvas Sapporo Odori Park Hotel

We really liked all the wood details and furniture that were locally sourced Let’s start! we’re back! *Let’s go!* Day one… we’re going to the fish market morning market Nijo Market Nijo Market! walking–it’s ok! Today is a new day oh! this is really pretty *hmmm* *happy dance*

Should I give you a crab? no take the other one then it’s really good, really fresh. The rice, oh my goodness it’s so good did you like it? we just got out of eating uni bowl, donburi it’s really good! so fresh. the rice was really good. the crab.

The ikura was “ohh” and i got the chu-toro fatty tuna “oh my goodness” – it’s really good really soft. really good so it’s really sweet. Like, it just kind of melts in your mouth

Hokkaido was the first area open to the “west” in the 1900s. It’s historic building have that western architecture. we were walking from our hotel to the Sapporo station when we encountered the cutest Vulpix vending machine. omg snow vulpix too? 🥹 soo cute walking to the station. How do you pronounce it? sapporo.

Sapporo station so far. It looks really nice. I like this place. i really like the trees! lol yellow, some greenish a lot… because you’re in Autumn some of them already passed, like there’s no leaves, but it’s ok it’s really cold. It’s about 30 degrees Fahrenheit. we kinda came prepared crepes!

Let’s go! we just go to the station ah, I forgot the passports after getting the passports we headed back to the JR station to get our Railpass and make reservations for the upcoming trips also headed to Uniqlo to shop for some things since my luggage was lost

By the way look at how from one floor to another you are in a totally different shop! definitely recommend staying close to the sapporo station like we did so you can come back and drop off things before heading to your next location

And what I love about Sapporo is that everything is within 15-20 minute train ride from the center. and there’s a lot of stairs involved because it has an “underground city” we’re gonna go eat lunch. And after that we’re going to the shrine

It’s actually… I don’t know if you can see. It’s snowing right now. we chose this place because it was close to the Hokkaido shrine and we wanted to try soup curry for the first time loved all the details about this place its decorations the wooden counter

And the way they basically cook in front of you we went for the house recommendation which was a seafood base curry soup the soup curry was loaded with fresh ingredients potatoes, carrots, mushrooms and the tempura was also a good portion and one of the best we’ve ever had slurps 🤤

Also never had a whole egg tempura like this and it was just tasty, crunchy, butter perfection tempura in Japan is just so light and flaky 😀 did you like it? Yes! It’s really unique! Simple, but… My favorite! oh it’s your favorite? *nods* Yay!

Ok now we got back to main Sapporo Wow look at these trees Next we rushed over to the Sapporo Beer Museum which is located in a complex with other Sapporo restaurants and gardens but the main Tasting Hall is in the museum

Note the museum closes at 6 pm but the Tasting Corner closes at 4:00 PM! No paid tour required to enter! The main attraction here is tasting the beer. They have three different kinds you know it’s good when you look at it after drinking it 😆

Of course had to check out the souvenir shop next to the Tasting Hall. It’s barely November but the Christmas decor is in full swing in Japan after the museum we headed back our hotel, dropped off our souvenirs and headed to go see the Sapporo TV Tower

We just could’t make it before sunset, which would have been nice, but still it was a very nice view! Next, it was time to check out Susukino: Sapporo’s most famous entertainment district Susukino and it was amazing to see how popular photo spot this is with with everyone taking selfies

Right around the corner of Susukino is the ramen alley here we came to try the famous miso ramen I think it’s interesting how it is said to have started like way back in the 1900s when a ramen shop owner wanted to make ramen a little more filling, heartier,

So he added miso and then he cooked everything in a wok *It was really hot still we couldn’t close out the night without having a little bit of dessert so we headed to this parfait place around the corner and it was just the most magical parfait we’ve ever had

It was layers and layer of deliciousness they give your a card with all the ingredients and mine had at least 15 this was a whole persimmon on top–so good also we headed back to the hotel and next door is actually this *famous* bakery

We picked up some items that we could have the next morning and with that we are on our way to our next destination: Hakodate stay tuned for that! Thank you so much for watching! Please like, comment, and subscribe!

If you have any questions about Japan please feel free to ask and drop a comment! Until next time bye bye
