This is a short video of my travel to Okayama, Japan. It’s my first time visiting this city. Okayama is the capital city of its namesake prefecture, in western Japan.
This clip presented my movements hunting for local food and visiting key attractions in Okayama.
I visited Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter, taking the local train from Okayama station (coming by here via Shinkansen) to Kurashiki station. It’s very nice there.
I had wanted to visit the Okayama Castle and Korakuen but it was raining heavily all day long and so didn’t make my way there. Therefore, I explored the areas around Okayama station, shopped and tried many yummy foods.

Hias greetings from uhok okama well I just reached here from the sing chain ride it took me about 15 minutes this is the first time that I’m here so I’m exploring this new city at least to me uh so I hope that I have a good time
Here find my way to visit the key iconic uh landmarks uh more later on and today is very very cold 4° and right in front of me on the other track you can see students they’re going on the school Excursion I think so I think you have H
Few hundred of them waiting for the shinan Shen right so I think it’s very interesting to see such a big group of students uh well I hope that they enjoy the right as well okay bye Ohas greetings from kurashiki station this is actually one of the a few stations away from the uh AMA station so right behind me is one of the big uh shopping mall here which is known as the aroid but because I’m early so it is not open yet okay it’s open at 10:00 now
It’s about 9:35 so I’m going to uh wait for a while and then I Ro the place it seems like this is quite a big and quiet place I think is quite interesting uh where you don’t really feel the busyness the hustling of the uh you know the city
Noises like the car and the high uh you know passengers uh load it’s very quiet very late back very relaxing and the weather here is very very cool 3° uh that’s why you see I put on three shirts I think it’s very short okay uh
So more come thr and uh let the camera zoom and show the surrounding areas or explore the parts of the city okay bye Hi everybody with greetings from uh this is actually the ban area which is the historical area where you can see all the traditional uh historical houses of the P of Japan of course is more commercialized more the shops and restaurants on both sides of the street well today is a week
Day so it’s not crowded at all there’s no simp no visitors but enjoy the uh Serenity and the calmness where you can walk in Breeze and in peace very interesting okay M okay we Mo to City okay Bye Greetings from uh Kiki historical area but this is actually the sing all the old houses Old cottages and Villages but is actually one of the so called the canal which is very famous can actually a boat here where the boat man will actually jump onto the bridge and then they jump down
To the boat and uh this time R is very cool but fortunately I managed to get the last batch of the r Lea tree uh as you can see very awesome uh the weather is a bit gloomy I think it’s going to rain soon but nonetheless very shook to be walking
