First time in Sapporo. It’s a trip to eat all the delicious food. AIRDO 011 Haneda Airport → New Chitose Airport 1 hour 30 minutes 1,600 points. Limousine bus New Chitose Airport Line New Chitose Airport → Minami 3-jo approximately 1 hour ¥1,100. Arrived at Sapporo city.

First, we will leave our luggage at the hotel. Check-in will be later. I took the free shuttle bus that I had reserved to the shops in the outer market. An outdoor market shop that sells fresh seafood and also has an eat-in space.

A huge long-established store that has been operating at the Sapporo Central Wholesale Market for over 75 years. If you’re looking for seafood in Hokkaido, you can’t go wrong with this place. Go to the dining room inside. Scallops ¥630. Grilled salmon harasu ¥630. Toro three-colored bowl (medium fatty tuna, salmon roe, sea urchin) ¥3,180.

Seafood bowl (15 types) ¥2,980. There are many seafood bowl shops in the outer market, but this shop is large and the prices are cheaper than others! And the menu is extensive. Even more delicious! This shop is highly recommended for first-timers. Stroll around the outside market.

It was a market where you could find not only seafood, but also melons, vegetables, sweets, and all kinds of souvenirs. Travel by subway. Sapporo has a lot of snow, so subways and underground passages are well developed. Tozai Line Nijushiken Station → Maruyama Park 4 minutes ¥210.

A sacred shrine spread over vast grounds. I will visit the shrine slowly. A splendid shimenawa. It was founded in the Meiji era as a guardian deity of Hokkaido’s development. It is the general guardian deity of Hokkaido that continues to watch over its development since then. Visit.

I had a goshuin stamp written on it. It was a pleasant shrine with beautiful details of the main building and grounds. Jingu Chaya on the premises. The specialty is a rice cake called “Fukure mochi.” It is said to be an innovative yakimochi made by sandwiching it between iron plates and grilling it.

There are several shrines within the premises, and we headed to one of them. This shrine was built to honor the achievements of our predecessors in developing Hokkaido. Visit. I returned to the center of Sapporo. Since this is my first time in Sapporo, I will take a look at the symbols of Sapporo city.

Japan’s oldest clock tower, built 145 years ago, is an important cultural property. It was originally a demonstration hall for Sapporo Agricultural College, the predecessor of Hokkaido University. Currently, it is a museum that tells the history of Sapporo.

The second floor of the building across the street is a photo spot. The whole thing looks good. There was a truck parked there, which didn’t really look like a tourist spot…(lol). A park located in the center of Sapporo that is approximately 1.5 km long. The specialty is the roasted corn wagon.

Potato butter and grilled corn set ¥500. You will receive it at a place with a typical Sapporo scenery. Check in to the hotel. This is a reasonable urban hotel operated by Hoshino Resorts.

It is close to the center of Susukino, Sapporo’s most popular downtown area, and within walking distance of Odori Park and major tourist spots. The concept is an “inside the town” hotel that will get you excited. They suggest ways to enjoy nearby gourmet food, general stores, and sightseeing spots.

With a wealth of original and unique maps, you won’t have any trouble sightseeing in Sapporo. Superior Twin Room Non-smoking/No meal plan 10,560 yen (2 people). It’s a new hotel so it’s very clean. And the design is also excellent.

There is no bathtub, only a shower, but there is a multi-functional shower like in overseas hotels. This plan also includes a 2,000 yen ticket that can be used at the food and drink shop on the first floor.

You will also receive a ¥2,000 coupon that can be used at the food festival being held at Odori Park. What a great plan! I took the coupon to Odori Park. The food festival “Sapporo Autumn Fest” was being held.

Held in a fairly large area, it is a food event that brings together Hokkaido’s seasonal ingredients and local gourmet food. There are so many shops that really have everything. There are plenty of eating and drinking spaces, but there are quite a few people even during the daytime on weekdays.

Sapporo beer ¥600 and chicken thigh zangi ¥500. In Hokkaido, fried chicken is called zangi. It has a slightly strong flavor because it is marinated in sauce and then fried. Perfect for beer! Each area has a different theme, and there is also an area that focuses on alcohol with bars lined up.

Matcha custard crepe ¥600. Sweets are also abundant. Tasting comparison steak set of three types ¥1,800. Finally, we ate our meat in the low chair area, and dinner was over. It’s a food event so large that we can’t go to it all. Eating around is fun!

After dinner, I went to a parfait shop. Recently, there are many fashionable parfait specialty shops, and parfait is becoming a staple of Sapporo’s nightlife. Salted caramel and pistachio ¥1,454. Strawberry and cheese ¥1,893. Return to the hotel.

Let’s take a look at the food and drink department on the first floor of the hotel. Let’s buy something with the ¥2,000 ticket. A variety of drinks, snacks, sweets, ice cream, etc. And the lineup is a little stylish. Alcohol is also sold at the server. We had wine and beer.

We also have a stylish lineup of coffee and other drinks. We ate wine, snacks, and ice cream in our room, and then went to bed for the day.
