Katsumori park is a park located in Iizuka City, Fukuoka Prefecture. It is a beautiful park in downtown Iizuka. Since it is not a touristic place, there is just some local people. A playground, pond & decommissioned steam train attract families to this green space opened in 1918.
From here visitors can enjoy a view of trees reflecting off the waters of a pond and waterfowl swimming on its surface. Also a renowned cherry blossom destination, some 300 Yoshino cherries, Ukon cherries, and Kawazu cherries grown on the grounds, attracting huge throngs of people come to enjoy the flowers when they bloom in spring.
Walking through the park enjoying the snow was so peaceful. The park was looking so beautiful because of the snow, so I thought I can make a walking video of the park. In real, it was more beautiful. I really love this park as it looks so beautiful during spring also because of the sakura (cherry blossoms). And it’s so close from my home, I can come any time to enjoy the seasonal changes and share it with you guys.
