Hello, everyone. This is Fuji Japan Travel. How are you all doing? We’ve been exploring various lunch spots in Tokyo, but today we’re venturing out to Yokohama in Kanagawa Prefecture for a fantastic two day tour. You might be thinking, I’ve got to visit Tokyo at first one in Japan. And you’re right.

Places like Shibuya, bustling crossing and Shinjuku Station are masses. But what if I told you that neighboring Kanagawa is just a stone’s throw away? With Japan’s efficient public transport, a train from Tokyo station will whisk you to Yokohama in under an hour for only ¥700.

Surprisingly, it’s even quicker than some intercity travels in Tokyo. So when you’re planning your Japan trip, consider adding Yokohama to your itinerary. Let this video be your guide. Let’s dive in. Just a minutes. Walk from Minato Mirai station on the third floor of Minato Murai.

Tokyo Square is a restaurant offering a panoramic view of Minato Mirai. They have an all you can eat bread offer, and it’s one of my personal favorites. I’ve been here before and found their lunch deals incredibly worthwhile. It gets busy, especially near the windows. I opted for pasta this time.

They have a variety of pasta and meat dishes, lasagna gratin and more in their set menus. These come with all you can eat freshly baked bread and a drink bar, which adds great value. The bread selection caters to all tastes from hard crust to Danish and sweet breads, perfect for families with kids.

The drink bar includes coffee, tea and other hot beverages, allowing you to leisurely enjoy your lunch. Moving on, just a short five minute walk from Minato Murai Station and also within walking distance from Sakharov’s Metro Station, we’ll explore a popular cafe renowned for its delicious soups.

Nestled inside a hotel, getting to Sakaguchi, a station from Tokyo Station is a breeze with a direct train, a real plus. Since navigating large stations in Japan can be quite confusing. The area around Sakaguchi Station is known for the iconic red brick warehouse dating back from the late Meiji to early Taisho period.

This historic warehouse survived the tumultuous 20th century and was reborn in 2002 as a cultural and commercial facility. It’s a popular spot for dates, especially in winter, with its Christmas market and ice skating rink. Another nearby attraction is the hockey GMA Sea Paradise Aquarium. While the CAF is popular with hotel guests.

Its array of sofa and table seating makes it a comfortable spot for solo visits or casual café breaks. Its interior adjacent to the hotel lobby offers a variety of seating options like semi-private spaces. Round tables and individual tables catering to different need. The cafe’s unique concept

Revolves around dispelling the fog by drinking it. It’s famous for its healing soups, designed to provide comfort and relaxation. Besides soups, they also offer an array of sweets perfect for a tea break. I visited on a weekday and it wasn’t too crowded, allowing for a relaxing time.

The CAF is open until PM making it ideal for breakfast or lunch. Although I had already had lunch and couldn’t try the soup, I couldn’t resist their homemade ginger ale made with their special ginger sirup. It has a refreshing blend of ginger aroma, the slight bitterness of lemon and a spicy kick.

It’s a delightful change from my usual coffee, and I highly recommend it to ginger lovers to its name. Located just a seven minute walk from Moto Moshi Tuk, a gas station on the Minato Mirai line and accessible by city bus with a three minute walk from the nearest stop.

The wharf house is situated at the westernmost end of Yamashita Park, offering stunning harbor views. It’s an ideal spot for group events featuring a calf, restaurant shop and even barbecue and picnic gear for park enjoyment. You can see Yokohama Bay Bridge, a marvel of modern engineering,

And the key part of the Tokyo Bay Coastal Road Network. This impressive bridge with its dual layer structure spans a total length of 860 meters, known as a double deck suspension bridge. It’s not just a vital transportation link, but also an iconic structure in the Yokohama skyline. The open

Terrace is a highlight, offering foot baths by the water and a craft beer garden perfect for relaxing with friends. The high ceilings and abundant windows create a spacious feel that exceeds the actual size of the place, with a variety of seating options like counter sofa and table seats.

It caters to both large groups and solo visitors, making it incredibly versatile. I visited around PM on a weekday and was surprised to find it quite bustling. Many people in Yamashita Park seem to be using the calf as a break spot. Given this popularity, I anticipate it could get quite busy on weekends.

Unique feature of this calf is its outdoor footpath. There’s a limited capacity of about eight groups, so you might need to wait for a spot. Each session is 30 minutes long, free until PM and ¥300 thereafter. Towels can be rented for ¥200. So you’re covered even if you don’t have one.

Relaxing in the foot baths while overlooking Yokohama Harbor is a blissful experience. That alone makes the visit worthwhile. With a comprehensive lunch and caffe menu, it’s a great spot for a break after walking around Yamashita Park. The footpath is a fantastic option for those with tired feet,

Making it a prime spot for both dining and relaxation. After soaking and healing in the footpath, I indulged in a dessert of chiffon cake and coffee. Perfect for satisfying a small hunger. The clientele is varied from young couples to families, foreign tourists and individuals just enjoying a tea break. Today,

We’re staying at the Mitsui Garden Hotel, Yokohama, Minato, Mirai premiere. This well-known hotel chain operates 34 facilities, both in Japan and internationally, and I’m excited to share that will be staying in a fabulous room with a sprawling view of Yokohama Sea. The price for a night starts around ¥15,000 per person.

And while it’s not the cheapest, I assure you the experience is worth every yen. The lobby on the 20th floor with its glass walls offers a panoramic view of Minato Mirai immediately immersing you in an extraordinary experience. The hotel, which opened in May 2023, is situated in a prime area of Minato Mirai,

Making it a perfect base for exploring Yokohama. The design concept of the hotel is Yokohama style cruising, it’s imagined as a hotel docked in the skies above Minato Mirai with design elements inspired by the curves and materials of a cruiser. The entrance on the first floor represents the deep sea.

While the shuttle elevator takes you up to the ship deck lobby on the 20th floor. The room centerpiece is a large bed strategically placed in the middle, offering a luxurious layout. The bed’s headboard doubles as a shelf, perfect for placing a drink glass and lounging leisurely on the bed.

The room’s design allows for a relaxed, pampered experience. The rooms, designed as cabins guarantee stunning views from the 20th floor and above. Truly embodying the concept of sky cruising. The hotel welcomes a diverse range of guests, including families, couples and international tourists. It’s a casual, yet sophisticated space offering comfort and elegance.

There’s even a terrace where you can step out and enjoy the breeze. The interior is bright and tranquil with a light wood texture and beige tones that create a calming and welcoming atmosphere. Amenities are available at the front desk and you can pick up whatever you need before heading to your room.

Moving further into the room, there’s a bathroom, toilet and powder space. The vanity is made of glass, allowing you to enjoy the night view while drying your hair or brushing your teeth. A truly extraordinary hotel experience. Privacy is assured with adjustable curtains and buttons.

The bathroom features a spacious bathtub perfect for stretching out and unwinding after a long day, even though I don’t usually prioritize having a bathtub in hotels, it’s always a delightful bonus. This room is not only ideal for those wanting to savor Minato Mirai, but also for guests looking to enhance their hotel stay.

It offers high quality at a relatively affordable price, making it an excellent choice for various travelers. The front desk area on the 20th floor also provides access to a sky pool for guests, which I’ll delve into more later in this segment. We’re exploring the executive Corner King Room, an indulgent space

Offering a panoramic view of Minato Mirai cityscape and see through its large windows on the sides. Arriving after 5 p.m., I was immediately greeted by the enchanting night view of Minato Mirai, a sight distinct from Tokyo’s skyline. Let’s talk about Yokohama, a city renowned for its romantic appeal, especially as a date destination.

One of the key reasons is its stunning night view, which is particularly mesmerizing during the winter season, making it a hot spot for couples. After checking into our hotel and having some time before dinner, we took a short five minute walk to the Landmark Tower.

Our destination, the 69th floor observation deck, known as the Sky Garden. The entrance is conveniently located on the third floor of the tower. Landmark Tower boasts Japan’s fastest elevator, zooming to the 69th floor at an incredible speed of 750 meters per minute, taking just about 40 seconds.

Stepping out of the elevator, you’re greeted with a quintessential Minato Mirai. View the sparkling Yokohama Bay Bridge, the large ocean Bashi pier, the iconic red brick warehouse, and the grand Ferris wheel of Yokohama. Cosmo World. The Yokohama 3060 Concept allows visitors to enjoy

A full 3060 degree panorama from four different windows on clear days. You can even spot Tokyo Psychiatry and Mount Fuji. The observatory also features amenities like a calf and a reading room, making it a perfect spot for a break or some quiet reflection for tonight’s dinner.

We’re dining at Ristorante Volta Unico Polo, a modern Italian restaurant located on the 20th floor of the Mitsui Garden Hotel, Yokohama, Minato Murai, Premier. This is the third establishment in their chain following their restaurants in Jingu, Gan and Ginza. The restaurant boasts 135 seats,

Offering a spacious and open atmosphere thanks to its large windows. It’s the perfect spot for a luxurious meal while enjoying the night view, especially suited for date nights. They even offer courses with guaranteed window side seating, so check out their reservation site for more details. Aligning with the hotel’s concept of Yokohama Sky

Cruising the restaurant aims to provide a one of a kind culinary journey. The course menus are as unique as they are artistic, perfectly fitting. The cruising concept. Let me dive into more detail about this exquisite dining experience. We opted for the dinner course at ¥8,470,

A comprehensive nine dish experience that truly represents value for money. From the very start, I was struck by the quality of the cuisine faithfully reflecting the restaurant and hotel’s concept. The highlight was the amuse bouche of the five continents. Chef Takami has painstakingly crafted these dishes to represent each continent’s

Flavors, served on specially commissioned boat shaped plates from a studio in Shiga prefecture, further enhancing the cruising theme while rooted in Italian cuisine. The course offers a sensory journey through various international nuances and aromas. The Wagyu rib loin was exceptionally tender and juicy, a memorable meat experience.

The specialty dishes, especially the rich and flavorful cheese dish, were so good that they disappeared quickly. For dessert, I chose a pear dessert and pie served with coffee or tea and an assortment of six petit fours, of which you can choose three just. Good morning.

Today we’re starting our day with a breakfast buffet at this hotel’s modern Italian restaurant located on a high floor. It offers a chance to enjoy a sumptuous breakfast while taking in the beautiful views. The buffet features an array of dishes made with locally sourced ingredients from Kanagawa Prefecture.

We arrived at around 845 and were able to head straight to the buffet as there was no wait. However, by 930 it got busier and a queue had formed. So for those looking for a relaxed breakfast experience without waiting, I recommend arriving early. The restaurant is primarily for hotel guests,

But walk ins are also welcome. The morning crowd seemed to be a mix of couples, families and small groups with a wide age range. The atmosphere in the morning contrasts with the restaurant’s evening elegance. Its more casual and inviting, with the morning sun streaming through large windows, creating a bright and fresh ambiance.

If you’re keen on a window seat, arriving early is advisable. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly extensive, almost like a lunch buffet. There’s something for everyone from Western to Japanese cuisine. We had options like Giallo and Balbo, Siew, Mai Mapo, Tofu and simmered Hamburg steak, providing a hearty and varied selection.

The variety of bread and desserts, including six types of mini cakes, was impressive. Plus, there’s a drink bar with coffee available and takeaway cups. Perfect for enjoying back in your room. The highlight of the morning was the premium French toast made with brioche rich in milk and butter.

It’s cooked right in front of you, ensuring you get it fresh and hot. It’s incredibly soft and melts in your mouth. A real treat for anyone with a sweet tooth. Next, we’ve made our way to the hotel’s sky pool. And let me tell you, the view is spectacular.

Available for hotel guests from 3 to 9 on weekdays. It’s a scenic treat exclusive to those staying here. Doesn’t it just epitomize the luxury of this hotel? Thanks to the cooperation of the hotel staff, we had the opportunity to film the sky pool located

On the opposite side of the 20th floor elevator hall from the restaurant. The pool and fitness center have a fresh and clean changing room area with its design matching the hotel’s interior. It has a casual, yet elegant feel. There are ample washbasins and lockers and four shower boots in the back.

So it doesn’t get overcrowded. The sky pool allows you to enjoy a relaxing time while admiring the view of Yokohama from the 20th floor. Guests can use it for free, which is a great perk considering many hotels charge extra for pool access. The pool is 8.6 meters long and 1.2 meters deep.

Suitable for those over 140 centimeters tall. Just a note. It’s not suitable for very young children. There are also two outdoor pools, plus a Jacuzzi offering a resort like experience inside right in the city. Imagine lounging in the water while looking up at the open sky, feeling the breeze.

It’s a truly extraordinary way to spend your time here. After checking out of the hotel, I’d like to introduce you to a calf. I highly recommend. Just a two minute walk from the notary station on the Minato Moray line. This

Calf offers the perfect spot for lunch or a relaxing calf time near the sea. I visited around 11:30 a.m. and found the place comfortably quiet with just a few customers. The calf serves both lunch sets and a variety of sweets, with about five or six options for each.

I opted for a dessert set. The calf seemed popular among mothers with young children and women in their thirties to fifties. It’s interior abundant with wood, creates a cozy log cabin or beach house vibe with views of the redbrick warehouse and glimpses of the sea from the windows.

It offers a sense of openness and comfort. Near the entrance, there’s an array of baked goods and a selection of merchandise, giving it the feel of a boutique shop. The calf. I enjoyed a warm mojito, roasted green tea with a matcha cheesecake. It had been a while

Since I last had hoggets at a calf, and I must say it was delightful. The perfect pairing with Kate, the teas, astringency and rich aroma made it a standout and I highly recommend their tea selection. Tucked away in a location that’s a bit off the beaten path, this calf is a gem

Worth discovering for an authentic Catholics variance. So how did you find our two day trip to Yokohama If you enjoyed this journey? I’m thinking of introducing more travel plans outside of Tokyo, paired with top tier hotels just like this one. I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.

Looking forward to meeting you in the next video by.
