JR Pass trip 2023: from Tokyo to Nagasaki – Part 1 | JRパスの旅2023：東京から長崎まで – その1

This is part 1 of a series about my May 2023 Japan trip with the Japan Rail Pass. You can see all the JR and private companies’ trains I took: local, limited express and shinkansen bullet trains. You can also see the shrines, temples, gardens and castles I encountered along the way.
In part 1, I started in Tokyo, and visited the prefectures of Kanagawa, Shizuoka, Yamanashi, Nagano, Ishikawa, Fukui, Shiga, Kyoto.
I rode trains from JR East (JR東日本), JR Central ( JR東海), JR West (JR西日本), Echizen Railway ( 陸運業) and Izukyu (陸運業).
