Day 196 of Full Time Travel – Kyoto, Japan | Bamboo Forest and Fushimi Inari

We are Ellen and Rob, we quit our jobs in June and set off to travel around the world on $100/day. Our one day in Kyoto was amazing! If you are coming to the area, definitely give yourself more time! There are so many things to see and experience here. The bamboo groves at Arashiyama are a highlight and the gates at Fushimi Inari are a must!

For good reason because it is such a unique experience to walk through a bamboo forest the colors were surreal next we headed to Fushimi Inari a famous temple here in Kyoto known for its thousands of familian tour Gates these red Tory gates are there to demarcate the entrance from the everyday
