We’re in Osaka Japan at a bustling food stand that specializes in takoyaki the process begins by ordering from a vending machine once your selection and payment has been made your order is then printed out on a ticket and handed to the chef tago Yaki is a Japanese snack of savory ball-shaped

Cakes that contain chopped octopus and are cooked on a specially shaped griddle each order is layered with a sweet soy sauce directly on the box and contains a total of six takoyaki ball snacks you can choose to have them all the same or you can mix and match from the vendor’s

Different options another layer of sauce is then placed on the top and green onions along with a couple of other toppings are an option as well because of the language barrier we ended up ordering two six piece orders when we only meant to order two balls the

Takoyakis came out great but they were piping hot like burn your throat hot I should definitely have let them cool down before digging in but with that said these were by far the best taco yis I’ve ever had unlike the ones I’ve tried before these had a soft fluffy texture
