I took Shin Nihonkai Ferry from Otaru (Hokkaido) to Niigata and tried their Suite for the first time. It was amazingly comfortable. *The price is depending on the season.

Hi there I've been in Japan last month and I took a ferry boat to from one part of Japan and North to down to Tokyo and we not his son but what's the same one that you travel on the sun Nichols. But I did book but I did get the royal suite and wow even had room service included price I paid people on board the boat very very very friendly officers and crew spoke English I had a very good time on that on bored they had slippers in the a plastic package actually I took them home with me to Hamilton like to have PJs on board and the plastic packed is a well actually I took a bath and a couple packages of that beautiful coloured bath thing you put in bath make you smell good and I did use one the the two more there tock home made it in 7hours to spare before I got on the airplane Toronto Ontario Canada took a bath here and I just use some of that stuff in the water made me feel go home with me at the time I spent in Japan look very nice and one of the hotels I stayed in real robot Hotel operated by robots they look very homon lock

I love umeboshi, but I am not even Japanese. I don't love tarako, but I don't hate it either.
The included meals looked much nicer than the restaurant meals, like kaiseki compared to a basic family restaurant or something. It seems strange to me that someone would prefer simple curry to a fancy meal with a whole variety of different tastes, textures, and appearances. Curry is just get-the-job-done basic nutrition while those kaiseki-style meals were like a food-as-art experience.
I lived for many years in Japan and never thought to explore the ferries. I suppose I was in love with the trains, but it was stupid of me to have missed out on the ferries.

I have a question – why were you eating at the grill? Was it because you were booked in a suite, or was it just something you decided to do for this trip? I'm just wondering in case I ever take this trip. There were several items of food that you received that I wouldn't be able to eat, and so I want to know how eating at the grill came about.

How much did this trip cost? We will be traveling to Japan this February, landing in Tokyo after a day or two we want to travel to Hakodate, my mothers home town, hoping to meet some of her family, just not sure on the type of travel to get there? Any ideas? Thank you
