ABOUT ME:
I started solo travelling in 2013 and left Indonesia in 2016 to pursue full-time travelling while at the same time documenting my journey as I explore different cultures as a solo female traveller.

Having initially travelled for 5 months throughout Asia, I moved to China in January 2017 for an English teaching job, which was my first experience living abroad.

Since leaving China in 2018, I have taken the move to become a full-time YouTube creator and traveller. I strive to create unique, culture-driven content and capture authentic interactions as I travel.

    Hi Syifa, lovely to see you and your husband enjoying Tokyo so much. It's great that you are showing the different districts and neighbourhoods of the city. I myself am not a 'city person' either. If I should name favourite cities of mine, I would say Berlin and then Salzburg. Looking forward to your next Tokyo 'instalment'.

    Have not been to Japan yet but I would also add Shimokitazawa (they are filled with hip cafes/bakeries, vintage and thrift shops) in my itinerary if i visit Tokyo in the future.

    Are y’all going to neku shima (cat island)? Fukuoka, Shikoku? If you go to Miyajima Island (between Hiroshima and Iwakuni), you can feed the deer. Shin to Hiroshima, change to regular train, and go south. Get off and take the ferry.

    Hi Syifa. It's been a very long time since we first met in Wuhan, China. Once again, we almost met up…first in Kazakhstan, where I missed you by about a month, and now in Tokyo. Not sure when you were there, but judging by the short sleeves you and your husband were wearing, it was a warmer month. I was there this past November.

    Japan is an amazing destination. I love how everything is so orderly and the people are generally so polite and law abiding. Late one evening, in a quiet residential part of town (yes, there are some), I watched a lady who was about to cross the street, but the crossing signal light was against her. Though there was absolutely no traffic, not a single car, she waited until she had the walk sign to cross. I don't know too many other places where that would have happened.

    Assalamu'alaikum mrs. Syifa.. How it going today.. My opinion japan is wonderful from the city start.. The Landscapes..views.. The civilians..especially foods.. But i want to ask bout foods is there prepared "Halal"..!?
