  1. Travellers like me are saving money on a schedule and cannot 'travel earlier'. If prices keep rising at certain places, they will simply be cut off the itinerary. I'll cancel restaurant plans and eat at convini. I have places that I want to go to that are non-negotiable and I will give up three other places to afford it.

I think there is a belief in Japan that tourists have money to spend because of the weak yen. That is not necessarily true. All countries have an economic crisis with all prices, costs and interest rates rising. Saving for a trip is hard. Most people travel in hard times because they have a reason, not because they are splashing money around.

  2. I enjoy your videos but I don’t see why these are always based towards American currency conversions. Keep up the good vids

  3. Even with the price increases, coming from an American living in Australia – Japan is still far cheaper than doing similar attractions in either of those two countries.

Compare a single day ticket at Tokyo Disneysea to Disneyland or Disneyworld in the US and it's cheaper while also being a far better experience! With the exchange rate being so in favor of the USD I really can't think of a better bang for your buck vacation for Americans than Japan at the current moment.
