Japanese Hotel’s Innovative Laundry Service: Monitor Your Laundry Status on Your Room TV



A hotel’s laundry service that allows you to monitor its status on your room TV is a great convenience for guests. With this feature, you can keep track of the status of your laundry and plan your day accordingly, and with the locking feature you don’t have to worry about thieves. However, this is the first time I have come across this service in Japan, so it’s safe to say that not all hotels will offer this feature.

    Wow, I wish more hotels did this. I can't tell you the number of times we've been traveling trying to do laundry and everything is in use. I'd have to stalk the machines to see when they are free.

    Some amazing technology Lyndon and Donna. It would be nice to lock the washers and dryers and be able to check on the status from the room. Also to check which ones if any may be available. Useful ideas!
