I went under the ocean on Japan’s fastest train, the Hayabusa, to visit Hokkaido. This makes island number two in my goal to visit all four of Japan’s main islands with a 14 day JR Railpass.
Starting out from Morioka, I had lunch at the Hakodate Morning Market, then on to Sapporo on the Hakodate Main Line, a service that will be replaced with the Shinkansen in a few years. Thanks to @AUNZ RAILFAN for the tip! In Sapporo, I found that my hotel was located in the red light district of Susukino. Not my bag, but interesting to see. Thanks for watching! Please subscribe!
