Ueyama rice terraces are located in the Ueyama village of Mimasaka City in northern Okayama Prefecture, and there were once approximately 8,300 beautiful rice terraces spread out along the mountain slopes.

However, due to a lack of successors and an aging population, the land had become abandoned, and the slopes that were once terraced rice fields were overgrown with weeds and shrubs, and the beautiful scenery of the rice terraces was disappearing.
In 2007, local residents, immigrants, and city residents began working together to restore the rice terraces through grass cutting and traditional village burning.
Nowadays, it has been restored to almost its former appearance, making it a very pleasant sight.

🟩陸の豊かさも守ろう🌲
後継者不足や高齢化により耕作放棄地となり、かつて棚田だった斜面には雑草や潅木が生い茂り、美しい棚田の景観が失われていたとの事です。
2007 年から地元住民、移住者、都市住民が協力して、草刈りや伝統的な野焼などの再生活動を通じて棚田を復元する取り組みを始めました🌾
ご尽力くださった皆さまのおかげで、現在はほぼ元の姿に復元されており、とても美しく心地良い景観となっていてとても感動しました🥷♡

こんばんは、棚田っていうと、カレンダーにも登場する能登の白米千枚田が有名ですよね。
収穫を終えた休耕田状態の棚田でも、Ninja様がドローン映像にすると美しい映像になっちゃう♪
カレンダーの棚田は、水を張った棚田が朝日や夕日を浴びて輝くシーンが良く使われてますが、
もし、この棚田が5月下旬から6月頃の水を張った頃に、朝日または夕日を浴びるシーンがあれば
そのドローン映像も見たいなあ～♪・・・なんて勝手にリクエストしちゃいました。(;^_^A
