Blue Pond in Biei, Hokkaido Vlog # 048

Part of our Hokkaido itinerary is to go and check out Furano and Biei. Furano is well-known for it’s lavender fields which is best to see during summer because around this time the flowers are all in full bloom and the best place to see it is in Farm Tomita. Hiromi and I are supposed to go there but as we got absorbed looking at the amazing views from the train, we forgot to get off at the station.
In short,we went directly to Biei. This city is where you can find the bluer than blue pond. Shirogane Blue Pond is one of the famous place here which attracts a lot of visitors from every part of the world. On the day we got here, weather was really bad. Rain was pouring hard and yet the rain didn’t stop all the tourist from coming. I was soaked from the rain but I didn’t want to miss out on this opportunity so I had to go and see and it was totally worth it. I’ve never seen anything like it. Words is not enough to describe how beautiful the place is.
