It is a UNESCO World Heritage temple that symbolizes Uji, and the beautiful Phoenix Hall depicted on the 10-yen coin and 10,000-yen bill is quite stunning. 確か２０１８紅葉の時期、バスツアーで夜間ライトアップを観ることが出来ました。記念になる写真も撮れました。
京都は何処へ行っても紅葉が大変美しいですね。平等院鳳凰堂は平安時代における藤原氏の権勢を象徴するものですね。宇治はお茶が有名でレストランや土産物もお茶にまつわるものが多いですね。私は体調が悪くて行けないため、この間ネットで宇治茶を購入して楽しんでいます。
