This is the last in a 3-part series of my recent trip to Japan. Here is the playlist for the first two videos which covered Nagoya and Gifu City: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLKzqIIzhvRsn1Fp0nD9MS2QtOsrS0goOX
I lived in Japan several years ago and truly love the country. In my opinion it’s one of the highest level societies in many regards… The main thing that stands out to me, however, is simply the people. They are the most courteous and polite people on the planet.
Osaka (大阪市) is a major travel destination so you’ll find no shortage of videos about Osaka here online, but I venture to say that my style of travel video is different than the rest. In this video we try check out some foods, we spend some time drinking a few too many nama-biirus (生啤) or, draft beers on Dotombori Pedestrian Street, we get lost exploring some back roads, we sing karaoke with Polish, Japanese and Koreans all in a little streetside pub, and much more.
I already miss Japan dearly, but moving forward I plan to make a short trip to Japan annually. Living in China it’s not that hard to get there. Airfare is reasonable and it’s just a short flight away.
Hope you all enjoy the trip! I try to make these videos feel like we are traveling together and I hope I have succeeded in my mission!
