I saw SNOW MONKEYS 🙈 | Can’t Miss Japan Travel Spot! | Explore Kyoto with me

If hanging out with baby snow monkeys is your dream, have I got the place for you. I actually wasn’t going to go here originally, and the first two times I went to Kyoto, I didn’t go. BUT! This time I had visitors who wanted to go, so here we are. And turns out I have zero regrets!

This was so much fun, and I would honestly recommend taking some time out of visiting the rest of Arashiyama to prioritize coming to see these guys. Especially if you come in fall, as the autumn leaves are beautiful and they even have a fall walk that is meant for viewing the foliage.

It costs ¥600 for an adult ticket, or ¥300 for kids, and takes about 20 minutes to walk up the mountain to where the monkeys are. They just roam around and you can watch them, or for ¥50 you can go in the little mountain hut and feed them from inside a cage. This is the best part really, not necessarily the feeding (which is fun) but that if you want to interact with the animals, then you as the human go in the cage. *Applause*

Have you visited the monkeys at Arashiyama Monkey Park? Was it worth the trip out? Let me know in the comments!
