Day 1: Our expedition begins with excitement as we rent a car from Toyota Rent-a-Car at Musashi-Kosugi Station. Retail therapy ensues at Costco Zama and Gotemba Premium Outlet, followed by grocery shopping at It’s More Akasaka. Our cozy retreat for the night is the Fuji Mystays Hotel Onsen Resort, promising relaxation and anticipation for the days ahead.
Day 2: Fueling up with a delightful buffet breakfast at the hotel, we set out for iconic sights. The day unfolds with awe-inspiring views at Chureito Pagoda in Arakurayama Sengen Park, followed by a visit to the Fuji Shibazakura Festival at Lake Motosu. We then explore the scenic Fuji Five Lakes – Motosuko, Shojiko, Saiko, Kawaguchiko, and Yamanakako, before returning to the comfort of our hotel.
Day 3: Embracing tranquility, we indulge in the onsen at the hotel and relish a buffet breakfast before checking out. The family-friendly fun awaits at Hakone Kowakien Yunessun waterpark, and our day concludes with a serene retreat at Yutorello-an Annex Ryokan in Hakone, complete with green tea, yukatas and mountain views.
Day 4: Our final day unfolds with a journey to Togendai Station for the Hakone Ropeway experience. We stop at Owakudani to savor the renowned black eggs at Owakudani-eki-shokudo and explore the Hakone Geomuseum. After enjoying the natural beauty of Onshi Hakone Park, we embark on a scenic drive back to Tokyo via Odawara and the enchanting coast of Sagami Bay, concluding our unforgettable adventure.
