I can say I am glad to live away from snow once again. But yeah, it is pretty – specially those frosted trees and mountains.
Nice that everyone got to experience that kind of weather. Filipino coworkers were always excited to visit WI to experience snow.
Forgetting language while in it is my life now. I have had a bunch of Portuguese lessons, but during the week my coworkers all speak English, so my skills erode – and then when I go into the village or city I end up failing to communicate as well as I should with locals who don’t speak English. Keep up the learning and keep getting into situations where you have to use the language and it should get better. But yeah, starting a language later in life is not as easy.
Grats on getting the drone license while in country and now able to use it!
